Great experience/environment/service.... average food
Food was kinda average. Service was awesome. The wife and I spent several days in Vail and we visited La Nonna for dinner one night. It is a competitive environment in the restaurant world, but if you are going to price a meal for two, approaching

The food was incredible, the best dinner I have had in Vail.
The atmosphere is lovely, we sat on the deck and it was beautiful. The service was excellent, they gave us great recommendations and wine pairings. I was there for a birthday celebration and I couldn't have asked for a more fabulous evening
Best Italian in Vail
What more can you say when an entire restaurant experience was amazing; it was amazing? Well, the service, the food and the value were all as expected! The only hi-cup occurred with making our reservation, and that was on Amalfi Jets not on the r

Nice ambiance
This was our second experience at La Nonna. We also tried it last year. Last year it was very good so we booked it for our sonโs birthday this year. Last year the olive oil they served with the focaccia was excellent, grassy, fruity and buttery. Th
Fast service and great pasta.
We were a walk in with no reservation and the hostess was very nice and accommodating
Only So-So. Great food and inedible food at same table
Our experience was very mixed. Server explained all of the dishes and pointed out the calamari and wild boar pasta as two of the best dishes in the house. One couple ordered the Caesar salad which looked fresh and delicious, and the right size for a

Great family dinner in Vail
Great reasonably priced family dinner in Vail. My family of five (2 adults, 3 teens) all loved what they ordered. Nice wine list by the glass. Casual Italian restaurant with very good food.

La Nonna is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to, period. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was on point. The restaurant has two dining areas and limited seating at the bar. Make reservations well in advance.
This place was recommended highly by everyone we asked.
Although it was summertime, we walked in and easily got a seat outside for two. I loved the look of outside and the decorations to go along with the Italian feel. Sean was our server and he was amazing! Gave many recommendations based off of things w

Food was decent, but what really turned me off this restaurant was the service. My boyfriend and I (21 & 22 years old) are visiting Vail as a last minute weekend getaway and decided to try this place. As soon as we walked up to the host stand we
Delicious.
I love the gnocchi, the best i have had. Nice service. Very busy make sure you make reservation in advance. Will come back again next time when I'm in town
This is my favorite high end establishment in Vail village.
The food is outstanding, the service top notch and the ambiance is very nice. I am a frequent patron and have never left a meal disappointed. I often get the Wild Boar entree and it is exceptional. On our last visit we shared the lemon pie and wish
Too expensive for the value and too loud to carry on a conversation
We went here for our wedding anniversary dinner with another couple. We got married in Vail , ski there all the time and wanted a special evening. We heard a lot of hype about La Nonna. We expected more, but, it was really just average , nothing to
Great Italian meal in a nice setting
We had a fabulous meal at this restaurant. Highly recommend reservations a few days in advance. My wife and I shared an order of mussels and a dinner salad as starters and then we each had a pasta dish for our mains. We split a nice bottle of wine, s
Not what is advertised
This is marketed on their website an an intimate spot, cozy and family oriented. It is a big restaurant playing club music at a very loud level. Almost surreal. Our server was great. Food was very good unti entree then failed. Worst part the owner or

We got lucky and got a reservation last minute.
The food was pretty good aside from the lobster truffle pasta and the drinks were decent. I loved the vibe at the restaurant. Definitely coming back!

Despite the fact it's still hard to get a table, it's weird to say the quality really went down in 23/24. Four meals here have all been bad this season. Gluey, overcooked, cold pastas. Bad attitude at the hostess stand upon arrival. Lackluster table

this spot was a cut above every other italian restaurant in Vail Valley, in every way. From the service to the food, it was excellent! After introducing herself, our server asked if we had any dietary allergies. It was so nice to be asked, instead

it is 100% worth making a reservation a month in advance to the day! great food, would eat here multiple times during a four day trip if possible!
The ambiance had a cozy feeling.
More of a date night than a family night vibe. Love the fresh made daily pasta. I loved all the pastas I've tried. Large wine selection. Service was great but you can tell it was a busy night. The restaurant was packed for a weekday. I would make you
La Nonna = La Don't
Wow! What a colossal disappointment. Olive Garden would have been so much better. It was our 33rd anniversary. The lady that took our reservations was super nice. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and had a nice Manhattan and gl

Sat at the bar, enjoyed delicious cocktails.
Calamari was fantastic, followed by the flavorful braised wild boar ragu and surprisingly amazing linguine with seafood. The pasta was a delightful surprise. Ended on a high note with a light and decadent crรจme brรปlรฉe. Ambiance was lovely too. Hig

Very nice restaurant but overpriced and did not live up to
Very nice restaurant but overpriced and did not live up to expectations. Pasta was not what everyone said it would be. Guess they never had Italian food in NYC or NJ.
Homemade pasta.
The pasta is perfect. Excellent homemade soups. The specials are cooked perfectly. Whether it be halibut or veal scallopini gelato is homemade and super high delicious creamy flavor.
VERY DISAPPOINTED
We ordered Focacia, they donโt serve bread, they were out of focaccia!!! What!!! No offer to replace the focacia Servers were efficient but so fake. Not genuine. Wine expensive and only a 5 oz pour. Most places pour 6 oz Our entrees seemed skimpy.
Must go!
Wonderful restaurant! The staff is so nice and welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect. Food was phenomenal as well, so glad we found this place for dinner!
Best Italian meal ever

Went two nights in a row!
Not your typical tourist restaurant. Outstanding food and service. Could be in NYC or LA. Front desk was awesome also
Best meal we had in Vail.
Outstanding meal. When we called to make a reservation, they responded that they didn't have any spots but one, and that normally folks 'book a month out.' At first blush, that sounded arrogant, but once we had dinner there, we understood why. The w
