It was a spur of the moment with my family but had a great time, the staff was friendly and accommodating even though we did not have a reservation. They were also very nice to my kids even though the restaurant is more "serious". The food was incredible, we were served a mouse that blew our minds.

This is a restaurant that is worth to try! I had the artichoke with truffle soup and it was delicious, then the scallops and again delicious. I have the pear tartlet with a coffee. I will definitely be back and I recomend to try this place if you are looking for exceptional service and an amazing menu.

My first Michelin star restaurant! I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate our two year anniversary and it was perfect! For the attire, It was formal, but could be more casual if you'd like. Many men wore just button up shirts, some wore jackets. I chose to wear a suit for fun, my boyfriend wore a nice t shirt and pants. We got the 7 course tasting menu for €99 each, which I highly recommend!!! We booked through Michelin.com. We were very full by the end of the night, it felt like the courses were never ending. They also constantly bring out fresh bread. They also very accommodating to my tree nut allergy and had to make some changes to my dessert dishes. So, it was kind of upsetting that my last two courses were fruit based while my boyfriend got decadent chocolate desserts, but I understand. Here were our courses, it would take way to long to write about each one, but they were all so amazingly flavorful, unique, and innovative.1) cold artichoke soup with summer truffle2) tomato, pesto sauce, smoked mozzarella, and sorbet3) seared tuna with edamame slaw4) roasted duck5) three types of cheeses6) deconstructed key lime dessert for me, my boyfriend for chocolate with wafers and raspberries, etc.7) I got a berry sorbet, with fresh fruit and jam.8) they brought our chocolates with the check, but I was allergic so they brought out some fresh fruit for me.It was amazing and made our trip so memorable. As someone who loves food, this was so exciting for me. Especially, since it was affordable.Definitely come here!

We were looking for a special meal for our last night in Paris- as most of the restaurants where we had eaten seemed very similar in their offerings. Le Chiberta was a serendipitous find...and an outstanding one. The service and food were second to none! We spent more than I would normally spend, yet for a special meal it was worth it.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a reservation last night.
As opposed to other places we've dined in Paris, the service was superb, the food was fantastic (presentation/taste), and the restaurant was air conditioned (was 95 degrees out). I plan on eating here again if I return to Paris. They've solidly earned their Michelin star.
Be the first to ReplyLe Chiberta was extremely disappointing.
The concierge from our hotel called to make a reservation and they had room only at the bar which we accepted. We were seated once we arrived but weren't acknowledged once seated for at least 10-15 minutes. Service was horribly slow, I bet, our waiter truly disappeared for 10 minutes at a time. He gave us the wine list, disappeared, handed us our menus, disappeared, it was ridiculous and the food wasn't anything to write home about. The area at the bar where we were seated was directly across from a pass through window and as we were finishing our meal we saw someone scrapping all of the butter from the dishes taken from the tables and putting the butter back into the container it came out of. Horrible, Horrible

Service is impeccable, and we were pleased to find both French and English menus. The atmosphere is quiet and somewhat romantic. The wine list is extensive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I ordered the turbot and it was over-cooked. The edges were crispy. When you pay 50E for a small piece of fish with some veg, you expect it to be perfect.

This was the 3rd Michelin starred dinner of our trip so I felt like I had decent ammunition to review it properly. We dined at Le Chiberta on a Friday at 9pm and walked in w/o a reservation. The restaurant was barely 1/3rd full. Despite being a Guy Savoy labeled establishment, the meal and service lacked the flair that I would expect from such a big name. The dishes were good, but unspectacular. The prices were actually surprisingly fair for the quality of food and location - just a block from Arc De Triomphe.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I at at Chiberta last night, and for the first
My wife and I at at Chiberta last night, and for the first time, I am writing a review; mostly, because I think this restaurant is greatly misunderstood, by YELPERS, ZAGAT, etc. This is an excellent retaurant, with great food, great service, etc. As one other reviewer said, it is not Guy Savoy, and thank g-d, Guy Savoy is a once a decade restaurant with perfect service, perfect food, as well as a second mortgage. You almost have to prepare for a Guy Savoy dinner which can last for hours and can seem to require training. There is only one Guy Savoy, and anyone who was hoping you could create a chain of them is simply crazy. Chiberta doesn't try to be Guy Savoy, but offers a taste of what you could ge there. A liighter, simpler menu, with a reasonable wine list and less of the pomp and circumstance. We were out in 2 1/2 hours, had some very memorable courses (include a spectacular veal 3 ways) and it was an expensive but affordable treat. In sum, what you are looking for at a high end, but not ultra high end, restaurant. If you didn't include the "avec Guy Savoy" I think you would have 4-5 stars and a 25+ Zagat rating.

Before visiting France, I researched extensively on restaurants to try and Guy Savoy was definitely up there. However, we ended up Guy Savoy's sister restaurant: Le Chiberta.Definitely NOT disappointed. If I worked in Paris, I would take all my clients here.Because that's pretty much what we saw when we went here. I think my boyfriend and I were the only ones not wearing black and white. Everyone was definitely a businessman/woman. Lots of Blackberrys too :)The decor was very modern, sleek and intimate. The mood was perfect for couples and meetings! They had an eating bar for a more casual dining experience too. I later found out they had a beautiful private dining room, surrounded by a wall of their finest wines. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles! The hostess took my coat and showed us to our table. The food was very good! If you're expecting Guy Savoy, don't. That's what Guy Savoy is for :) Le Chiberta is much more simpler but they do their dishes very well.I had the sweet breads for my entree and they were delicious. THE BEST I've ever had. Was cooked in a deep, flavorful and rich sauce with morel mushrooms (EXCELLENT). I couldn't finish part of it but my bf snatched it up and devoured it. We still dream of it today. My bf had the sea bream. I don't usually eat cooked fish but the skin was perfectly crisp yet, the meat was moist and tender. So good. Made a fish lover outta me!We've never been fond of desserts but Le Chiberta sold us immediately. The dessert was a passion fruit sorbet and dark chocolate, decorated with actual pieces of passion fruit. WONDERFUL combination.Presentation was beautiful, service was excellent and food was delicious. What more could you ask for?

savoy restaurants i've been, this is my least preferred. food has been inconsistent in flavor and quality, service the least sympha. but it's got a core of loyalists from among the suits of the 8è and 16é plus tourists/gourmands who worship at the altar of Guy Savoy. je mangerai ici encore, bien sûr. tant que quelqu'un d'autre paye
