Bland food.
Was expecting so much more and the service was lacking. For the price, can definitely do better. Good presentation, but taste was meh

The fact that a host was hostile and unwelcoming to a child with SEVERE food allergies let's me know everything I need to know about this business. No thanks!!!
Be the first to ReplyRude servers, food was just ok.
The ambiance was nice but the servers really set the tone. They think really highly of themselves.

One thing for sure, I wouldn't wanna be at a restaurant where the hostess is power tripping especially when a child is snacking on some puffs. Maybe this isn't the job for you. If that's how you talk to your mother, honey you can get the boot.

Terrible service, for these prices I would expect it to be impeccable. Staff was rude, unnecessarily loud, caused a scene that was disturbing nearby tables, or somehow nowhere to be found. Food was late and cold, staff didn't respond to our complaints, just walked away. Save your money, not worth it.

If you breast feed don't come here, their "no outside food policy" discriminates against women & children.

I love this spot! Been here many times so this review is long overdue! Wednesdays are half-price wine bottle night. The HH has many options and the oysters are AMAZING! Matt in the bar is so friendly, helpful and called me by name throughout my dinner! Can't wait to go back!

I've been here twice now, once for date night and once for brunch with some friends. Place is small and adorable with a decent bar and bartender. Servers were polite and professional. Food was better for dinner than brunch but overall very enjoyable along with a few drinks. I'm reading some of the one/two star reviews here and I must say I'm a bit confused as to why anyone would choose to bring toddlers to an oyster BAR and then complain about how the restaurant didn't cater to their loud screaming children while other patrons are trying to enjoy their meal. Le Coin is a higher end boutique restaurant and I would highly recommend giving them a try for drinks and a meal with friends or date night. Maybe make a reservation for a little efficacy.

Food is here really nasty (and so is the service!!!!!) Be warned this place is not welcoming to POC. I urge you to support the many alternative restaurants in the area, with much better food.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for a special brunch.
The hostess and maybe the manager were so rude. Definitely made us feel unwelcome. I'm just unwilling to tolerate being treated this way. EVERYONE should be made to feel welcome.
Be the first to ReplyThis has become our new favorite happy hour.
...Firstly we always get good, prompt and friendly service, Ryan at the bar, Levi in the kitchen and Sara the manager are all wonderful people who are very good at their jobs.Cheap oysters for happy hour which is rare in Seattle, you should come here just for this.. Along with the oyster i'm a huge fan of the bone marrow with the crispy yum bread.Lastly a couple mini things that are good, plenty of parking around the neighborhood, pretty chill vibe. No weird music or bad vibe employees. All in all great spot, we've made it our monday yum yums
Be the first to ReplyFood was fabulous.
Very creative and extremely tasty. Oysters were great, onion soup was rich and delicious. Service was perfect. Will definitely dine there again!

Be the first to ReplyThe staff were engaging, relaxed, and were genuinely happy
The staff were engaging, relaxed, and were genuinely happy to have us. We opted for the Chef's counter tasting menu and felt quite satiated by the fourth course. Not only were the staff engaging but the chefs and line cooks were equally interested in how we were doing, what dish stood out, etc. Not to mention the free beignets from Andrew, who was happy to share his newly mastered technique with us. The food was incredibly layered with wonderful ingredient selection, preparation and execution. The oysters with bacon were some of the best cooked oysters I ever had and don't sleep on the greens as presentation, they paired so well with sauce too. Highly recommend a visit if you like a dining experience to be engaging and each dish to be well designed and paired exquisitely with all ingredients. Next time, I'm opting for the wine pairing.
Be the first to ReplyThe brunch food is AMAZING.
The pork belly breakfast sandwich was really flavorful as well as the crab benedict. The prices aren't too high and the restaurant has a clean and friendly atmosphere. I am not kidding when I say the breakfast potatoes are made exquisitely. The potatoes are crispy on the outside soft on the inside and seasoned really well with garlic and cojito cheese that just gives it a great touch. I highly recommend this place for brunch. Reservations made ahead would be ideal, but they sometimes have room at the bar top for walk-ins.
Be the first to ReplyCame for weekend brunch.
Chicken and waffles was yummy and had a big portion size. I also enjoyed the world famous apple fritters, it's a good amount to split with the table since they are pretty sweet and you get a lot of them. Would come for brunch again sometime to try other things on the menu!
Be the first to ReplyI love this place and have been several times now.
It's got the feel of a cozy neighborhood spot with upscale food. This is the first place I ever had a raw oyster and have since had them other places, but Le Coin's are the freshest with the best mignonette ever. I don't understand places that serve cocktail sauce only with the oysters. My daughter and I shared mussels (melt in your mouth) with the crispiest yummy bread to dip in the broth. We shared the croquettes which were made of a sweet potato, lamb and bacon filling. They were delicious and arrived sitting on a green sauce. I don't personally think the sauce complimented the croquettes. They were perfectly delicious on their own.For our entree we had New York steak and scallops. The frites are served with a bone marrow aioli that was excellent and I couldn't stop eating their delicious frites. They are a must have when you go there. The steak and scallops were seared and seasoned perfectly. As outstanding as the food is, what motivated me to write this review was our server Taylor. She was so sweet, helpful and efficient. She showed up at all the right times even though she had other guests to take care of. Hopefully if you go, you will get oysters and be lucky enough to have Taylor as your server.

This amazing French restaurant is perfect for anyone who loves good food, great drinks, and an intimate boutique atmosphere that just oozes charm.First of all, let's talk about the food - it's simply amazing. The omelets are to die for, and the burgers are super juicy and flavorful. And don't even get me started on the drinks - the cocktails are so delicious, you'll want to try them all!But what really makes Le Coin stand out is the vibe. It's got this intimate, boutique feel that just makes you feel cozy and relaxed. Be the first to ReplyWe came here (2adults, 1 toddler) for BD brunch.
Service is great. Food is sooooo good! Ambience is very nice. We are looking forward to try dinner date night here. I never seen vegetarian option for cassoulet so that was really nice. My 2yo absolutely enjoyed people watching. We ordered him side order scrambled egg and bacon. Scrambled egg was so fluffy and yummy. There were so many pieces of bacon for side order! My husband got fried chicken and waffle and I have to tell you it's the best!! Don't forget to order Apple fritters for your starter. It's so yummy! I'm taking one star off for- food coming out a bit slow for our table. People who ordered after us got their food first for some reason. It's just a bit hard with 2yo. We won't mind so much if it's just us.- there's no changing table in either restrooms! We would love to come back and our toddler love your food so much he will eat a lot and we will have to change him! So pretty please put changing table in one of your restroom ^_^.

This place is so charming, and everyone we encountered was lovely. Highly recommend the oysters, French onion soup, and Coin frites. The Brussels sprouts and grilled lamb shoulder were tasty as well. We ordered a bunch of dishes and they had such good timing on sending them out. We will definitely go back.
