Insanely delicious!!!!
Absolutely insanely good! We did not have a reservation and weโre able to walk in and sit down right away. This was a Wednesday at 9 PM and we were only a party of two. Service was friendly and considerate! We ordered the snails (12) and the French onion soup, both unreal! We then ordered the duck ravioli and the duck breast with mashed potatoes. Both phenomenal!!! We will be back!!!

Have waited to come for a long time. Fantastic staff, sat outside in the sun and had by far the best duck breast I've ever eaten. Thank you guys. I'll be back in September.

I came here a few years ago and they've maintained a very high standard. The food is delicious. Unfortunately the restaurant is small and the tables are crammed together which does make it slightly uncomfortable in this post covid period. Friendly staff who are very comfortable speaking in English.

I have frequented this establishment for many years. The service is a hit and miss. Not an intimate setting, more of a bistrot. Can be noisy. Suggest lunch as the food takes a while to digest. Fois gras is the king.

I've been here three times before for lunch, usually on my own dropping in at slightly off times without a reservation. Each time, the waiters have been gracious and helpful. I really enjoyed my meals here, so this time in Paris I decided to make a reservation and dedicate time to visit the restaurant with my guests to share some great food. Unfortunately, this time I had a similar experience to another reviewer in terms of service. We only inquired about where our food was because we saw a table who sat down over half an hour after us receive their food before us (in fact, one ordered the exact same dish I did) and thought maybe our order was mistakenly not inputted. Hilariously, we received the same response from the waiter as the other reviewer: "It's cooking." Yes, we know it's likely cooking, but it seems like one has already cooked! The place has lost a bit of its magic and not sure I'll dedicate time to return next time.
Be the first to ReplyRacist and rude waiters, but great food.
I went back and forth trying to figure out what rating to give. The food was amazing and well worth 5 stars; however, the service was incredibly rude and possibly racist. I came here with my boyfriend, and we arrived at the same time as another couple. Luckily, two tables had just opened up, and so we were seated at the same time. The server directed all of his attention to the other couple and immediately gave them menus and water. He then took their order and left. My boyfriend and I got our menus from a different server and decided on which items we wanted to order. The male server then reappeared with the other couple's food and still refused to bring us water even though we were trying to get his attention. He refused to even look in our direction and pretended that we weren't there. Meanwhile, 30 minutes had gone by, and by this time, he was already bringing out dessert and coffee for the other couple that had been seated at the same time as us. The server finally came over to take our order and seemed irritated that he had to do so. While we were waiting on our food and water, a new couple sat down next to us, and they were promptly given menus and water. They got their order in and even received their entrees before we even got appetizers. I'll note that my boyfriend was the only black man in the entire restaurant, and we watched everyone else receive attentive service while we were ignored and treated rudely. The other couple had also ordered the foie gras ravioli and received it rather quickly. However, when we asked about our ravioli (since it'd been about another 20 min since we finished our appetizers, the waiter sneered at us and said "it's cooking.") So I'll leave it up to yall to decide. The food on the other hand, was delicious. We ordered the snails, foie gras ravioli, and bone marrow. The foie gras ravioli really stood out and was my favorite dish -- so creamy, savory, and well prepared. We both really enjoyed our food and I wish that our experience wasn't marred by the terrible service.

Simply, good, easy. Nice service at a correct price. Maybe the table could be a little wider but food and wines make you forget such a small detail. Advisable despite the street outside was only for tourists.
