A magic place
An amazing location and the excellent choice for staying in the Camargue. The house perfectly decorated. Very friendly staff. Don't miss the opportunity having dinner at the terrasse, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a junior terrace suite. The suite was lovely but itโs directly next to the kitchen so whilst we sat on our terrace to unwind all you can hear is kitchen staff shouting away. There was ants everywhere in the room and you would think paying ยฃ450 a night they would do some pest control.Dog poo was around the grounds not picked up and it was the owners dog not great yet they charged us nightly for our small dog who is a service animal. No charges for a service animal in other hotels. No turndown service for a 5 star hotel either.Food is a set menu nightly the first night was great the second a huge disappointment the fish was swimming in oil with an awful cabbage sauce I left it as it was inedible no questions asked just charged. Then we get to the safari trip of 75 euros each what a complete rip off.Two hours of a guide who spoke no English had we known we would not have bothered. We used our Google translate to get by the first 30 mins he stopped and told us how dragon flies eat the mosquitoes some safari!Yes you see the horses and bulls then our excitement was to see the pink flamingos. What a huge disappointment we were given binoculars to see them a huge distance away.We went to the nearby beach and saw them close up why the guide never took us there baffled us.The whole safari trip was a waste of our time energy and money.Weโve stayed in much better places on our France road trip.Would not recommend all they care about is taking your money.
Be the first to ReplyWelcome home in Camargue
Wonderfully unpretentious estate welcomes you and your family into their home and grants guests the opportunity to explore the Camargue region as well as life on an active cattle ranch. The spaces are humble and welcoming, and grant you the space to rediscover nature and the time to remember the importance of roots.

A great location, quiet, comfortable and excellent service. Food quality is excellent too. Staff are friendly and attentive. The property offers several activities all were well run and interesting. Definitely worth a stay
Be the first to ReplyHeaven in Camargue
The hotel is centrally located in Camargue, and from there you can visit each day a different part of the region. The territory is a "Mas", so on top of a generously sized swimming pool, it offers a lake where you can have a walk, a field with bulls, a field for horses. The hotel offers parking slots, the staff is very welcoming. The room are spacious, and very well maintained. The restaurant offers excellent food, not need to look for other place to have food. If you are lucky you will have the chance to discuss with the owner, having "small talk" each evening with the guest having diner - a so lovely committed person to provide "service quality" !)) I would definitively come back.

Lovely grounds and quaint post and beam rooms with second floor balcony bathroom with owner in residence to assure quality of experience. Breakfasts were typically plentiful with egg options to order. The premises are within a large active farming area and some distance from a town or village community. Dinner was understated yet well presented and local sourced

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved the hotel. It is in a very lovely position. Our room was well appointed but it did not have full aircon only climate control so we found sleeping difficult. The restaurant is recommended and we were looked after very attentive staff, especially Leah and the lady who did the breakfasts. The hotel caters for families so many children were staying. Beware the mosquitos!

We stayed in a junior suite 'Elegance', which was a lovely large room with its own entrance and terrace, up a short flight of stairs. There is a lovely pool in the gardens, and the whole place feels very chilled. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. We had our dog with us and the hotel has two dogs who are allowed to roam throughout - fine with us and great for our dog, but something to consider if you are not comfortable with animals. The village of Le Sambuc is 5 mins drive up the road and has a very agreeable cafe bar, the restaurant Le Chassagnette is about 10/15 minutes drive and is absolutely a must-do, we had a glorious lunch there. The beach at Piรฉmanson is great if you have a dog - vast and wild. We will be back
