Disappointment
There were a lot of people, apparently the place was famous for something. The staff is friendly and knows their stuff. But the food is absolutely ordinary, and the price is huge. We were not offered anything worth this money. There are many places around that are tastier and cheaper. I definitely won't recommend it
Be the first to ReplyA very beautiful culinary moment!
On the advice of a friend, we reserved a table this Tuesday March 5 and we had an excellent culinary time! The welcome is friendly, relaxed and warm, as is the atmosphere of the place. As for the dishes, nothing to say, made with quality products and in a very original way. For wine lovers, it's paradise, a well-stocked menu with pretty gems and at a reasonable price, we tasted a Jurançon from Lajibe, simply top notch. In short, a great experience, we thank the entire team and especially Thomas! See you soon Christopher

Simply top notch: perfect welcome, top wine list and excellent meal. Service and food couldn't be better!
Be the first to ReplyGreat wine list let down by disappointing food
So let me start with the only positive. An absolutely stellar and reasonably priced wine list superbly curated by a charming, knowledgeable and helpful sommelier. His list is totally let down by the food which we found !limited in choice, unappealing and under seasoned. In addition the restaurant decor is rather bland and uninspiring. All in all a very disappointing evening and despite the wine list and the top recommendation from the Paris by Mouth food critic, I will not be returning.

We needed to provide a credit card to guarantee our reservation with the proviso that a late cancellation would forfeit the substantial advanced charge. Feeling unwell our cancellation request was denied even though it was called in only a few minutes past the deadline. The reason given was that “special” dishes had been prepared due to certain food allergies. So we had to reluctantly show up. Turns out that no allergy accommodation had been made; many items could thus not be ordered. Besides all of the above, despite this restaurant having been recommended to us, we found it lacking. It’s mostly a minimally furnished wine bar in a sketchy neighborhood with a very limited unappealing vegan influenced menu with a heavy sustainability/environmental vibe.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, but Questionable Service
We always try a new place when traveling and the reviews of this one were compelling. The waiter did a wonderful job of explaining the eclectic menu. We told him we wanted wine by the glass and wanted to try multiple kinds. We are not oenophiles but typically like 2 or 3 glasses with a nice meal. The appetizer was amazing and the wine he suggested perfectly complemented our dishes. The entrees were dropped off but no one asked if we wanted more wine. We tried to get some attention but the staff was busy, even though there was only 7 occupied tables on a week night. We couldn't help nibbling on the excellent entrees in our cozy romantic corner until finally we realized the food was all eaten. At that point we felt ignored and decided to move on and get dessert and more drinks elsewhere. First time I have ever received such inattentive service in France, so of course its disappointing. The food gets an excellent rating, but I wouldn't recommend this to our friends or family in case this level of service is typical.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing experience
Disappointing experience; despite a service that goes out of its way, the kitchen doesn't keep up, it's long, very long for a result that doesn't match the prices. Few flavors, very simple products for main dishes despite their prices. Lack of flavors and generosity in the dishes, of efficiency in the kitchen. Damage
Be the first to ReplyCool neighborhood joint
Cool neighborhood wine bar with a great vibe. Alas the menu was very limited and nothing to my taste. But a great way to experience the 11eme and leave the tourist circuit.
Be the first to ReplyFor the oenophile
Come here for the excellent selection of wines. The menu is very limited (3 each in the starter, main, and dessert categories): my partner’s stuffed cabbage was quite good but my fish was a bit bland. The servers were very nice but a bit inattentive and would disappear for long stretches (given how small this place is, I was curious to know where they went…). A place for oenophiles.
Be the first to ReplyExceptional!
I've been a few times, most recently last Saturday. In short, it's an exceptional restaurant- staffed by incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic food- needless to say. Very carefully curated from top to bottom, whilst relaxed and sincere. A rare treat, but a real treat. I couldn't recommend a better meal in Paris.

A smallish menu which allows them to make each dish to perfection. Lovely friendly staff, Chef Chris is brilliant and provides a really lovely personal touch moving among the tables, sharing his passion and inspiration for the amazing and delicious fare. Will definitely be back
Be the first to ReplyAn absolute joy
This place is an absolute joy. If you love good food, go there. Beautiful, fresh ingredients cooked with respect and expertise, served by some of the best waitstaff I’ve ever encountered (even at super high-profile restaurants). They also know and love their wines. We left with light hearts and full tummies.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent innovative French
Food, service and ambience were all great.Probably our best meal in Paris. Waitperson helped us choose a wine which was also perfect, and decanted it....a white wine, knowing it needed a little time to breath.

Great service, food, and atmosphere! We loved the playlist too! We were treated extra special for our anniversary!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing….
Such an awesome find….you know a restaurant is worthy when it seems as though there are many locals dining with you….the servers were SO friendly & accommodating…started with delicious olives and charcuterie….then the fennel & fig salad—the flavor was bursting in my mouth with each bite…they offer 3 main plates—vegetarian, fish & meat…I had the fish and my husband had the vegetarian…both were really delicious….topped it off w a shared dessert…perfect meal…a really special unassuming restaurant…would come back again and again if I lived in Paris…

Lovely room, super friendly staff, awesome food and delightful wine. The only dish we had which was anything less than excellent was the Quesadilla… everything else great, highly recommend!

Wonderful dinner and great wine pairing; attentive service.
All our three dishes -starter, main, dessert - were really excellent - good flavours associations, fish cooked to perfection, very pleasant dessert.
Wine selection is wide and full of great options - it is not a cheap wine list for sure but we had a champagne, a red and a white by the glass and all three were very good and as advised by the waitress, paired extremely well with the dishes.
Yes this is not a budget restaurant (say 40-50 euros for three courses plus eur 50 for a bottle of wine to share so eur 65-75 per person) but the culinary experience is high level.
Lovely!
Lovely setting, super lovely and friendly staff. All the food was delicious (apart from the Brocolli tart, which was nice but not up to the standard of everything else), the fig and manchego starter, pollack dish and the best cheese plate I've ever had, it was a perfect amount, selection and all excellent. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Very disappointing experience considering many favorable reviews. Off to a bad start with very stingy pour of our two glasses of champagne at the table, nowhere near the 12 cl promised, and especially irritating at €15 each. Vaguely interesting starters, but nothing exceptional (small portions). The pork main was a sous vide chunk of loin, austere and uninteresting. Service poor for this level of establishment; had to request bread, water carafe not refilled. Very loud. Only three choices of starters and three main plates (one of each being vegetarian). Quite pricey for quality delivered. Two starters, two mains, the two miserable glasses of champagne and a tired bottle of red set us back €166 (we fled after the main dishes, not willing to risk desserts), a very poor value. Take a pass.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice dinner with amazing flavors.
Walked in without a reservation and everything was booked but we could be seated in the bar. Perfect for us as it started raining 5 minutes later. Was greeted by super friendly staff who recommended a nice orange to start with, then we we’re recommended an amazing red from the owner who gave us a lot of time and attention. The food was superb as well, the first amuse we got was packed with flavors and very good. The brightest star for us were the sweet corn with haricots verts which was outstanding. All in all an amazing dinner with superb service throughout, even when it got super busy and there very some less then nice guests showing up at the door. Professional as they come!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and wine
We greatly enjoyed the food and wine. They have a great selection of natural and organic wines and the 4 we tried were all excellent. The sommelier has great knowledge and we were very happy with her advice. We noticed that she pre-tasted all wines personally. I liked very much the attention to fresh vegetables. The artichoke dish was superb.
Be the first to ReplyPretentious food, tiny portions
Decent but pretentious food, tiny portions for hefty prices. Would not recommend at all unless you plan on spending 50+ euros for okay food while needing to rush to another restaurant after. Never order the cheese—we got 3 incredibly small slices of average cheese that could have be bought in any French supermarket for about 10 euros.
