Catch-up birthday dinner
We chose this restaurant by chance for our belated birthday dinner... and we didn't regret it! The selected 4-course menu with wine accompaniment turned out to be the right choice... despite a small mishap that was resolved confidently. Great ambience! Thank you for everything!

Went to Le Stollberg in Munich again for my birthday. The food was very, very good again. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Everything was OK... except for one thing... in a restaurant of this class it should go without saying that dogs are not allowed. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this evening. We will be back.

Everything was perfect, including the surprise for our daughter, who had her birthday. A great restaurant with great food and service. Keep it up...
Be the first to ReplyImaginative creations - relaxed atmosphere
I have been to Stollberg a few times before with business partners. This time the visit was completely spontaneous and private with my wife after a shopping and cultural tour. We sat outside and were welcomed by the service in a friendly Munich way. This lovely atmosphere lasted the whole visit. The food was exactly to our taste: I had a wonderful beef sashimi while my wife enjoyed her ceviche. Both were imaginative creations. The fish that followed was also very good.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and what a joy! Fantastic food and the kindest and best service ever! It is a bit expensive but well worth it!

Perfect Business Lunch in a pleasant atmosphere. Great friendly service! Loved the food! Great eine by the glass, too.
Be the first to ReplySuperb food with a fantastic host
This Restaurant is close to the Old Town yet has a calm neighbourhood feeling, which is partly because of the way in which the charming and knowledgeable Mathew's runs the front of house . The food is hard to describe- modern, innovative, generous, full of flavour all spring to mind but no words can sum up the numerous elements of the €68 3 course set menu When we are next in Munich, this will be the first reservation we make!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing, just amazing.
I was craving French cuisine when I stumbled upon this restaurant. While the food cannot strictly be categorized as French, it ended up being one of the most pleasant eating experiences I have had in Munich so far. Everything was amazing. We ordered the tuna tartar for starters and it was really, really delicious. We also ordered the foie gras which was also really great. For the main course we ordered the fish risotto and the lamb, and the lamb ended up being the star of the evening. It was literally one of the best dishes I have tasted. The desert was amazing as well. On top of that, the staffs were very friendly and helpful. While the restaurant is definitely on the pricier end, the portions are big as well and therefore making the price totally worth it. I definitely recommend visiting this place!! The only thing that I think could be improved is the ambience/design of the restaurant itself - the dining room is (almost too) simply decorated and does not do the food justice in my opinion. But it‘s not a big problem, since the food should be the main focus anyway.
