Ugh. Take it from a Malaysian - this place totally sucked. We ordered chicken satay that did not come with any rice cubes ... and what was that sad looking gravy thing that it came with?? Was it supposed to pass for satay sauce? It looked so chunky and odd-colored that I thought that it was diced garlic or ginger but it was smashed peanuts instead. Tasted nothing like satay sauce and they totally overdid the lemongrass and made a sticky mess. Onions and cucumbers looked like they were days old. Tried the peanut turnover (Apam Balik/Malaysian pancake). It was barely warm, way too thin, had no fragrance, and basically had chopped peanuts inside that tasted like ... chopped peanuts. The Malaysian Chendol drink was nothing more than a gooey blob that was stuck together and didn't have enough Pandan flavoring. Finally, the Chin-Chau drink was tasteless - it wasn't even sweet and I'm no sweet tooth by far. It felt like I was drinking iced waterIf you're looking for authentic Malaysian food, look elsewhere. This place will do if you're in a fix and desperately want an un-passable imitation of the real deal.
