The restaurant is in an upscale food hall called the Ostermalm Saluhall. Lisa Elmqvist looked like the best choice because a sign said it had gotten a Michelin Star within the last couple of years. The history about the restaurant was interesting. It started as a booth that sold fish in a fish market long ago. The hostess was nice. We didn't have a reservation but she seated us at a table in the bar area. There were many choices of fish and seafood on the menu. My daughter got the special of the day which was a risotto topped with fish, a few pieces of lobster, white asparagus, and maybe a couple shrimp. I had the fish soup that came with bread, and my husband had an entrée of a fish that I can't remember. My daughter also ordered oysters for an appetizer. The best tasting dish was the special of the day. The food was good but I would not say it was delicious (except for the risotto, which was a great choice). The woman that served us was one of two female bartenders, and she was not pleasant at all. She did not smile and was actually pretty rude, I'm assuming because we were tourists. She wasn't helpful explaining the menu, and her facial expression seemed to imply that she was annoyed to have to wait on us. This unpleasantness lasted the entire meal whenever she had to come over to bring the food, the drinks, the bill, etc. We left disappointed with the experience. I would not recommend this restaurant for non Scandinavian tourists. She was much nicer, talkative, and even smiling to customers who spoke Swedish. Instead, head over to a place called The Fishery, where we had a lovely meal that was very yummy and half the price. I had the fish stew there and it was truly tasty and memorable. Plus .... The Fishery employees made us feel welcome.
