Capitan Jeff and First Mate Nick were above and beyond! My favorite spot in the Keys! Everyone is very kind, the service is great, food is amazing, and the view and atmosphere just WOW! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Be the first to ReplyHad dinner here over Labor Day Weekend.
The drinks were kind of expensive, but very good. We had dinner here and everything was delicious. Especially the shrimp cocktail. Enjoyed the boat ride and would definitely recommend this place for romantic getaway.

Everything was outstanding. You have to go and see for yourself. It's a little island oasis. The food was fantastic. The people taking care of you are even better.

Overall just looked like a nice island, I had seen it riding by and have heard great things and want other people to try it out

Great potential. Mixed review. We had to leave early due to so many bug bites that turned into welts. Staff was very gracious in handling our early departure. Other than that - MEH. The hotel isn't as organized and on point as we would have expected - I would term it "almost right". For these prices, I would expect everything to be exactly right and were disappointed. Before we even got there: We got in the car from airport, and driver said "you can wear a mask if you want", and then didn't wear mask himself. Employees are required to mask up while under roof. I would think being in a car would qualify. We got to the island, and had pre booked activities, but no one listed them out for us. So we wouldn't have known what was happening on which day if we hadn't brought our own itinerary. Booking was a bit disorganized, and should have been a red flag of what was to come. Staff was very friendly, maybe too casual. At a 5 star hotel I don't expect to be greeted with "how are you guys doing?" or to have to step aside for them on the small paths when passing. One day we went to go on a boat trip. No one told us where to check in, so we waited on the pier, and eventually we went looking for someone and found our guide back at the concierge desk who in turn said he had been waiting there for us for more than 20 minutes.Food was good and interesting, but not Michelin star level. Meal plan was too much food, not worth doing.Hotel staff could use some training on how to up their game to 5 star level. Communication of information could be improved both before and during the vacation.Even when we were leaving, had to check the bill and found over $300 in extra charges that had to be reversed.Spa was excellent. The atmosphere is lovely.

We visit friends in Key West most years around the holidays, and when we imquired this year and where we should make meal reservations, this came up as a suggestion with the caveat that we almost certainly wouldn't be able to get in.I called a few weeks before our trip and they had exactly one table for four available during our entire nine day stay so we scooped it up. Your reservation time is set for when you'll catch the boat from the mainland, and you have an hour and a half to enjoy your meal and get to the return boat. We just exactly made it.We recommend starting with a fabulous craft cocktail (the rum-based one my husband got was particularly terrific) and enjoying a bottle of wine with your meal. We wished they'd had more shareables. We woumd up getting two orders of the to-die-for spicy tuna nachoes, which were transcendent but tiny (about $5 per bite) and the ceviche of the day.The lunch menu is mostly just salads and sandwiches (at about $25 apiece), but they had a blackened seafood special served over a cauliflower rice and veggie risotto that both myself and my friend John snapped up and adored. My husband had a lovely crabcake sandwich (the Eaton Street market one is slightly better) with pretty lackluster truffle fries -- the only real dud of the visit. We were dining with a world-renowned whiskey journalist who couldn't resist letting our waitress know his preferred temperature for our pinot noir to be served. Our other companion drinks this same vintage regularly and said he thought this particular bottle was a little off. I was honestly too busy drinking in the spectacular view and the perfect afternoon to notice. We split a couple of table-slappingly delicious desserts (a deconstructed key line I thought gave Blue Heaven a run for it's money, and an even better coconut flan with a passion fruit melba) to finish out our fabulous meal. Our bills were about $125 including a 15 percent locals discount on the food and an included 20 percent gratuity). After adding an additional gratuity for the stellar service it was well over $500 for a lunch for 4, but especially for the Keys it didn't seem outrageous. The grounds were gorgeous and we can see shelling out for a night here too celebrate a special occasion. Maybe our 20th anniversary? The boat ride to and from in a beautiful and zippy wooden boat that came as far as we did to be there (it's name plate listed Holland Michigan) was also a joy and easy on my often motion-sickness-sensitive system. I didn't read the Yelp reviews until afterwards and am kicking myself for not trying to spot a key deer while there. After at least a dozen trips to the keys I've yet to spot one.

Lovely getaway on a beautifully maintained island with only 30 other couples. Great spa, good dining, lovely pool and the bungalows are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff are amazing. Beach, like most key beaches, has a lot of seaweed but pretty to look at and very shallow. Pricing varies based on the year but be prepared to pay 1/3 again of rate for resort, sales and operational tax. Best part was amazing sunsets.

We stopped by Little Palm Island Resort's front desk (which is actually a beautiful little cottage) hoping to score a last minute lunch reservation at the dinning room sans reservation on Christmas Day. They were fully booked for lunch and dinner (for Days) and for good reason. The restaurant and resort is located on a beautiful private island. The cost to stay at this stunning resort will be very steep however except impeccable service through and through. Though we couldn't score a last minute lunch reservation, next time we are in the Keys we will be sure to stay here or at the very least make reservations way in advance to score a seat at the restaurant. A very big shout out to the wonderful and delightful Megan at the front desk for her assistance and for trying to help us score a seat, it was so appreciated.

Starts with a friendly greeting at the car drop and a boat ride to the island. Island is immaculate. Staff was beyond nice and helpful. Our suite was amazing. Dinner was expensive but well done. Breakfest was not so good as our entrees came out lukewarm. A definite return.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing service, delicious food and gorgeous location.
I did my annual sister's trip here and beyond glad I chose this stunning resort on a private island. :)
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful, quiet, romantic and a private place.
When you arrive to the welcome center, you are greeted with excellent service and a welcome drink called the Gumby Slumber. Such a delicious and refreshing cocktail. We took the ferry boat over to the private island and we enjoyed the ride with water and scenic views. Everything at the resort was clean and the decor was gorgeous. The staff were friendly, courteous and attentive. They were all wearing masks for Covid precautions. We sat on the sand for dinner and caught the beautiful sunset as well. The food was excellent, fresh, and delicious. The room was large and spacious, had two bathrooms, living room area, dining room area, outside dining area, outside bed and hot tub. You also have your own private fire pit area with chairs behind your room, loved that. I wish they'd have a TV in the rooms though, but we brought our laptop to view Netflix. Room service was prompt and excellent service. I wish there was a way to get rid of the mosquitoes inside your rooms! I got bit by mosquitoes about 20 times. Other than that, my stay was perfect.

Hurricane blew a hole right threw it. Hopefully it can be rebuilt. Pieces of it all over the ocean. It was such a paradise.

I don't know , perhaps my expectations were too high based on the price. Knowing what I was paying I was expecting to be blown away , but was not. For food, the seafood is comparable to that at say, McCormick and Schmick, and the steak at Ruth's Chris is better in my opinion. I was shocked to find that chicken was not on the menu 2 nights in a row. As for the rooms, we got their most expensive room, and it was not private. We walked the entire property and also went around by boat and seaplane, none of the bungalows are totally private or secluded - maybe a few are up to 60% private at best. Again, we've traveled well, so our expectations have gotten to be high. I wouldn't consider this any higher than a bed in breakfast, and the property should slash it's prices by a third. For what you're paying, you're better off in a bungalow in the beautiful Carribean.
