We did not have a reservation. Arrived at 5:25 (5 minutes before opening) on a Tuesday. There were 23 people ahead of us, 9 without reservations. We were given a table and asked if we could be done by 7:30 for the next reservation. We happily agreed.
The place was bigger than I thought from the reviews. There were about 14 tables in the main area, I couldn't count in the second room, and then a sizable patio. There was also a long bar that could seat probably close to 20 people. The interior is beautifully done. Modern open space with glass, metal, and wood.
There were four of us and we ordered family style. Stuffed Peppers ($16). The sausage and buttermilk made this tasty. Green Beans ($14). The sauce made these tart and these were probably our least favorite item. Market Lettuces ($11). The brown butter with chopped macadamia was surprising and delicious. Crispy Rice ($31). Served in a soup wtih asparagus, chanterelles, and bacon. Crispy Pork Belly ($24). Served Korean style, with bibb lettuce. 45 Day Dry-Aged Holstein Ribeye ($130). Served with a bearnaise and potato wedge fries. The best addition to this was a small bowl of melted raclette, which is served with the Boneless Chuck Short Rib, but were able to get a side of. If you love cheese, this was amazing and made the potato wedges a perfect 10!
With drinks and tip, this meal was nearly $400 for four people. Recommend going with a group of at least four people so that you can try several dishes and many of the meat items require several hungry people. The Whole Plate Short Rib looked great, but it serves 4-6 people ($190). Maybe another time.
The manager and servers were gracious, patient (I had a lot of questions about the menu), and non-intrusive. Good experience!
Enjoy and if you can't get a reservation, just go early!
