Manresa bakery has great bread and pastries.
Love this place but since they have moved and expanded, then are always sold out of bread. I have come 7 times and braved the downtown Los Gatos parking -all before noon or 1:00pm, only to find they don’t have a single loaf of bread in the store. Please up your capacity and production before I have to give up on you!!!! They would get 5 stars if they actually had product.
Be the first to ReplyRich pastries and excellent coffee
Stopped here one morning for breakfast and picked up a couple of pastries and coffee, which was excellent. I also picked up some of their whole wheat cookie mix which was quite good (though not as good as anything made in the bakery itself1)

My cousin and I just happened to pass by this place. What a pleasant surprise. I had the chocolate croissant. It was buttery and flavorful. The staff were friendly. Limited bench seating out front.
Be the first to ReplyWon't take cash but let's you wait in line
Have been wanting to try the bakery for sometime but don't think that will ever happen now. Waited in line for 10 minutes, got to the register to order, got my loaf of bread and then was told that cash wasn't accepted. No sign on door nor on the register that cash was not accepted. Just a snippy clerk who says you can't pay with cash. If that's the policy it should be stated outside the business so you don't waste your time in line. Bad business practice.
Be the first to ReplyYum! Great bread and pastries
We bought ham and cheese croissants, almond croissants, sandwich bread, a muffin and a piece of monkey bread from this bakery this week. The almond croissants were as good as the ones that I had in Paris, perfectly flaky with great almond filing. The ham and Swiss cheese croissants were delicious as well and also incorporated a little onion into the filling. The only thing that was lacking was the coffee; my latte was just ok and it takes a little while to get the coffee made.

We just had coffer and bought a couple of bagets. Both were wonderful. Will try here for lunch next time.
Be the first to Replyan interesting place
excellent baked goods but slow to turn coffee orders seems like they could make getting a cup of coffee a little easier
Be the first to Replybest ever
this tiny quiet place is take out only but has glass cofee / pottery coffee mugs/ glasses, each day open from703 unless they sell out which they can do, they have gluten free options and other all natural wonderful selections all of which are amazing
Be the first to ReplyVery good bread at Campbell location also
I went twice and stopped off at the Campbell location of Manresa Bread while out for a morning walk. The first time I had coffee and a non-gluten pumpkin muffin. The muffin was excellent, very moist and tasty also the coffee was very good. The servers were all friendly. The second time I met the head baker Avery Ruzicka who was very personable and friendly. That time I had their breakfast tacos which were very good. They were a little different in their taste due to the grain or flour that they use in making their tacos. But it also was very good and delicious. The bread was also very good but more expensive than the other place we go for fresh baked bread. I would go again.
Be the first to ReplyFlavors Galore!
Love the savory flavors of well made bread and Manressa Bread always provides a culinary pleasure when biting into a croissant with crusty exterior and moist interior or any of the other breads du jour. Small shop but worth the time to find it (not really that hard to find though)
