As a lover of Missy Robbins' other two restaurants, Lilia and Misi, in Williamsburg, I absolutely wanted to give Misipasta a try. My fiancé and I stopped in on one of our evening walks on the first beautiful day in April. We walked in without reservation and were seated at one of these really small tables inside of the café restaurant. The place itself is a pasta shop where they make pasta handmade in house and they sell a few other items such as different cheeses, sauces peppers, tomatoes. Anything you would need to dress up your pasta at home. They also have small plates that you can enjoy if you choose to dine in. Overall, I would say all of these dishes were very unique. We ordered three items and asparagus dish is stuffed pasta along with a breaded cheese. Surprisingly the asparagus was my favorite, it was light and refreshing with just enough citrus and spice for that beautiful day. They also have a mocktail that they offer with zero proof alcohol, which is great for those that are not drinking. Overall, this is a great place to purchase pasta and all of the fixings for your pasta to make at home. But I would definitely opt to go to the restaurants for for dinner.

Three apps and two pastas were all amazing. The asparagus and anchovies/tomato/toast were both perfect, and we loved the mozz in carrozza too (although that's the one I'd be most okay swapping out next time). The spaghetti with bottarga and lemon was also amazing, and I'll be dreaming about the mezzaluna until next time we come. If I have any negatives, it's that the only kids pasta was spaghetti (which was great and well-portioned/priced, but just not an ideal shape for two little kids), and I wasn't a blown away by the gelato as much as when we've had it fresh at Misi. (You can only get pints here.) The backyard is perfect on a warm day. We'll definitely be back.

Having had the opportunity to eat at Misi and Lilia before, had to check out MisiPasta. A fun experience, the small shared plates experience was great. The seating indoors is very limited and all bar stool seating. We started with the spritz and Negroni which were both delicious. The salad to start was refreshing and delicious with almonds and dates. The chickpea farinata was crispy and cheesy, highly recommend. The sandwich was out of this world, so delicious. Both pasta options were great, with my favorite being the spaghetti. Finished with an affogato which was made extra special with a birthday candle. The service was responsive and excellent, always available to help. Would enjoy going back here again, particularly for the outdoor seating in nice weather.

MISIPASTA is essentially an upscale deli/grocery with an open pasta-making view as well as a mini kitchen in the back for you to watch chefs cook your pasta for you. My partner was craving fresh pasta and came here to buy some. They have quite the selection here in regard to pastas, sauces, and other pasta related items. However, I wish there wasn't a single limit on a pasta type of one pound. My partner and I wanted to buy 1/4 or 1/2 pounds of various pastas, but the fresh pasta had to be cooked within 2-3 days and we couldn't eat one pound of all the pastas within that time frame.. MISIPASTA is essentially related to Misi and Lilia and the concept is nifty in that you can essentially make the pasta and ricotta toast at home if you desire. I may consider coming back if I have a dinner party to host to buy big portions of fresh pasta or to even have an impromptu pasta lunch or dinner.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Italian food, freshly made and tastes great.
Good drinks and service were very friendly. Great outdoor area too. Will come again.
Be the first to ReplyBest as a shop selling pasta, maybe not a restaurant.
I did see some of the comically tiny tables that other reviews mentioned. There are no tables inside the restaurant. The only seats for more than 2 people really are outside. Unfortunately, we needed a table and so had to sit outside. Too bad it was still pretty cold. Probably very nice in the summer. Smoked anchovy was great. Smoked swordfish very light and unique. Pasta noodle was obviously well cooked but the flavor was disappointing. Left pretty unsatisfied and somewhat hungry for something else. They do have kids pasta for $15. It is just spaghetti with cheese. The kid did love it. Not really kid friendly. No high chairs and if inside, no room for a stroller. Probably won't return.

The decor is cute and the bar stools are bad. The only real tables and chairs appear to be outside on the beautiful patio. The kitchen is open which is cool. The menu is very limiting, especially for vegetarians, and they are unwilling to make any modifications. The food was very good though (including the mustard green salad, ravioli, and the surprisingly spicy artichoke sandwich), The chickpea farinata was dry and not my favorite.

Spent an amazing afternoon eating the most delicious food on the back patio. Part emporium, part restaurant. Freshly made pastas and sauces available for purchase. The small menu is perfect for sharing varied plates, each one spectacular. Standouts include a grilled artichoke sandwich with provolone and hot peppers as well as a wonderful cappelletti with prosciutto Parmesan and sage. Service is extremely friendly and helpful. Prices are fair and reasonable. Cocktails and wines are plentiful. Go.
Be the first to ReplyMy new favorite place! I absolutely love this concept.
Super high quality products to make the best dishes from Misi and Lilia at home. In addition this market/eatery offers a handful of dishes and drinks to enjoy in-house. Cute little outside dining area as well. I visited the first time with a few friends and the service matched the quality of the food. The place was absolutely packed, but the Manager took really great care of my party to make sure we had a place to sit. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about the items being sold and he provided great recommendations. In addition the great food we had while on-site my friends and I took a bunch of stuff home so that we could pull off our best Missy Robbins impersonations. Cannot wait to go back.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience and amazing food.
I got a spritz with vermouth and it was the best drink I have ever had.
