tasty Esan foods
it's fusion Thai Northern East style, that's you still can get the real taste plus you can also get the taste of the other part of thailand style, but still can taste of local, rice menu, noodles,I'm Thai and i like this place and if you're foreigner it''s a good place to try different menu.
the service is good and the price is reasonable.
Best Yum som-o
Understanding good Thai Food means eating not just the standard menu's presented at home. Yum & Tum are Thai salad specialists, and they do it so well. The Yum Som-O, or pomelo salad, not easily found in streed restaurants is so delicious, and tasty, as is the wing bean salad. But most visitors have never heard of these dishes. Yum & Tum is worth a visit, decor is simple but smart. Staff are efficient, food comes out quickly. And the food is sooooo good. No wine served, just beer and a wide variety of local fruit drinks.

Stumbled across this great little restaurant whilst looking around the markets and was pleasantly surprised by the Authentic use of fresh ingredients to bring out the best in the Coconut, Lemongrass and chicken soup Actually probably the best tom kah gai I've ever eaten. Looked like this place is popular with locals too and a very busy spot at lunchtime. Prices were also in line with Thai food and overall a good restaurant experience. Would most certainly come back for the soup.

Be the first to ReplyThis is some seriously good Thai food
Absolutely loved the food we had here. Salads that are original but traditional art the same time. They really hit the key Thai flavor notes of sour, sweet, spicy, salty. The catfish mango salad was made up of crunchy fried catfish, firm sour unripe mango, salty fish sauce, nutty cashews all mixed together. The pork larb was some of the best I've had anywhere, with mint and crispy rice. They do a good job of moderating - but not eliminating - the heat level for wimpy palates if you ask as well. We also had some roast pork and noodles, not as remarkable, but solid nonetheless. Friendly staff, very tolerant of our sometimes loud baby. Overall, I highly recommend the place for when you're looking for something a little edgier than the standard Thai.
