I walked in on a Friday night with no reservation so I sat in the bar area. The design was sort of trendy Texas if that is a thing. Lively and Dimly lit with top 100 music in the background. Although the restaurant was crowded you'd think I was the only person there. Each time my water was below half they refilled it. If I got up they refolded my napkin. They held and timed each dish perfectly. They brought them out one by one. As soon as I finished one dish someone cleared them and my next dish was brought out. Started with an uni shooter. Had yuzu sauce and a quail egg. Nice smooth creamy shot 10/10. Lychee martini was so smooth. Right amount of juice and the lychee was fresh and sweet 10/10. The crispy rice with salmon was good while hot but the longer it sat it seemed to get gummy or chewy 4/10. Hearts of palm salad was very flavorful and refreshing. Hearts of palm had a nice snap as well 10/10. The TORO...so buttery and fatty. I had to order it twice 10/10. The yellow tail was nice and fresh 9/10. Athena and D were extremely attentive. They made me feel really cared for which made this not just a meal but an experience. Still on a high from night!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service, food, and atmosphere.
Parking is easy with valet right outside the restaurant / hotel, and everything is delicious. Pricey of course, but make a point to try the Miso Black Cod, it is insane! Drink standout was the lychee martini.

We think the food is very very good as is the service but the restaurant's style is something out of the 90s and the prices are over the top considering you can get exemplary dishes just a few blocks away at Uchi. I'm sure it's fun on a Sat night but if you care mostly about the fish, I'd skip it. We came for a special occasion (a birthday) and they didn't do much to make our birthday girl feel special - sigh. We don't plan to be back.

My fiancée and I came to Nobu last night to celebrate my birthday. The parking for the Dallas location is a little confusing. We had to park in a nearby lot and walk quite a bit to the restaurant. We were not asked if we wanted to validate our parking and had to pay $15 for parking for 2 hours. We ordered a few cocktails- the jalapeño cocktail, whiskey cocktail and red wine. Our waiter, Miguel was kind and helpful. He helped us navigate the menu. We went with the Omakese to have our first Omakese experience. The food was phenomenal--our favorite was the course #5-sea bass. It was one of the best things I've ever consumed. Unfortunately, it took about 40 minutes between course 6 and 7 (there are 8 courses in total). Because of this, we asked Miguel to get our check early. The soup (course 7) never came out. I don't know why it took more than 40 min for a soup to come out. Paying $200 each for the meal, we were very disappointed by this. Miguel comped our drinks for us; however, I don't think this was enough. We paid a lot of money for an experience that I believe was marred by not getting our courses in a timely manner. And then, we had to be rushed to eat our dessert and leave because of the delay. The ambiance was nice inside.
Be the first to ReplyWow! What an experience it is to eat here.
The parking situation is a little confusing since it's underground but Nobu does validate it which is nice! The inside is quite and intimate but there was a large party towards the front of the restaurant that was celebrating an occasion so it was a little louder than usual. I got the lychee martini and it was so good! Highly recommend getting that. The food itself is served family style and everything that we got was amazing. Some items that we got and loved were the tiradito, tuna and salmon tacos, crispy rice, and of course, the real star of the show... the miso cod. OMG... I have dreams about the cod, it was delectable. We came here with another couple for dinner. While our waitress was nice, I did feel like she was trying to rush us through our meal and was getting annoyed with us while we were there. Keep in mind that we got quite a lot of food during our time there and she didn't hesitate to remind us how much the bill was prior to using the gift card that we had received as a present from the couple we were with. Overall, I loved our experience at Nobu and will definitely return someday.

At Nobu Dallas, we indulged in the chef's tasting menu, which featured the most incredible Wagyu I've ever tasted. We couldn't resist adding the Wagyu dumplings, which were absolutely divine. My friend treated themselves to a flight of sake, including a special one served in a charming little wooden box. When we asked if we could purchase the box as a keepsake, the staff were incredibly accommodating. The ambiance, with its candlelit and dimly lit setting, set the perfect romantic mood.

Food was great and beautiful. Definitely more expensive but worth it

Premium Tasting Menu - a fun experience with some memorable dishes. Everything was high quality, however specifically for omakase/tasting menu there are other places of similar quality at a lower price point. - The sushi/nigiri/sashimi dishes were excellent. I'm a huge fan of tuna and the toro was awesome, one of my favorite bites of food this year so far. - I also liked the A5 Wagyu; I've had A5 before but at Nobu they mix it up by adding a glaze that tastes great. Not every dish in the 8 course tasting menu was a must have, but that's the fun in doing tasting menus. They certainly didn't cheap out as it included A5 Wagyu, caviar, lobster, and different fish. Overall, I enjoyed my meal at Nobu and would look forward to going back. One last note - Nobu Dallas doesn't have parking (only valet), however there is paid self parking in the hotel garage.

My boyfriend and I went during Happy Hour and let's just say I enjoyed every bit of the food. From the steak tacos, Shrimp and the veggie roll STOLE THE SHOW. Service: really nice host and server. Ambiance: 8/10

So so so delicious! I got the spicy tuna roll and the salmon avocado roll which were so flavorful! The fish was very clearly fresh and melted in my mouth. The spicy tuna was definitely my favorite with the right amount of kick and a good rice to filling ratio. Similarly with the salmon avocado roll they made sure to add a good portion of fish and avocado relative to rice. A sign of a good sushi place for me is also the sides and sushi ginger that comes with it and this did not dissapoint. The ginger had a great kick to it and I could probably eat tubs of it (same can be said about the wasabi!). The reason I bumped it to 4 stars is that portions are quite small considering the price I paid for the two rolls. However, the service was amazing. I got my order to go and was so surprised by the pretty presentation. Everything was packed very nicely and looked very sleek / fancy.

As someone who works in the service industry in Norway as a restaurant manager I am very particular when it comes to service and find it very that the to relax, and when going out to most restaurants I find faults. But I am pleased to say that everything at Nobu was exceptional. The food and the service, the knowledge and attentiveness of everyone was great. It was the 10th Wedding Anniversary of my parents and I suggested they book a table. Both of them were extremely happy and delighted with the service, ambiance and the attention to detail. The server assigned to us as well as his colleagues were super accommodating, going above and beyond. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Definitely somewhere I would definitely visit again, either on my own or with friends.

Everything was really really good!!! We ordered everything out heart's desired Lobster tacos, Cod Lettuce Wraps, Crispy Rice with spicy salmon,Beef Toban Yaki, KING CRAB TEMPURA , Broccoli Tempura Shrimp Tempura and Buttermilk Donuts Old Fashions were the drink of choice!!
Be the first to ReplyIt was an amazing time and the food was on point.
The added kicker was the golden state warriors team eating there too! Everything we had was amazing. I do not think there is anything bad on this menu and we had our waitress pick out the top sells. We did a cold dish, hot dish and two sushi rolls. I would highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyI will focus on ambience in this review.
My 15 year old daughter was at Nobu this weekend to celebrate a friends birthday. She accidentally left her purse on the bathroom counter after washing her hands. As she was walking out she realized what she had done and went back in. Within that minute a woman opened her purse and stole her wallet. I certainly hope that person is enjoying spending a 15 year olds birthday gift card. I know she filled up her car with the stolen debit card. So, that being said, while you're enjoying your very expensive meal, know that you're surrounded by the scum of the earth, common criminals.

The only thing I didn't like about this place was the location of the bathroom. Food and drinks were bomb! My girls and I had a fantastic night for my birthday!
Be the first to ReplyThis was me and my girlfriend's first time at a Nobu
This was me and my girlfriend's first time at a Nobu establishment. We were in Dallas for a wedding, and it also happened to fall on her birthday weekend, so I surprised her with dinner here. The restaurant is housed inside the Hotel Crescent Court. Once you go inside the hotel, make a right and you'll find it. We Ubered here (we also didn't have a car since we are from Atlanta, and were just in town for the wedding), but they have a parking lot, nearby parking garage, offer valet parking and offer validated parking. Now for the main event, the food! To start, we got the oysters, Shishito peppers, and the miso soup. My girlfriend doesn't like oysters, so I had them for myself. They tasted excellent. They were cold and all tasted different. I got the oysters with Nobu sauces, which comes with 3 different sauces, so each one was different. The soup was your average Miso soup, nothing special there. The Shishito peppers were okay, but I've had better. Also be wary of some of them, we both bit into one that was extremely spicy, and the taste lingered for a good 15-20 minutes. I would recommend getting something else. The oysters were the best out of the 3. For our main course, we got the rock shrimp tempura, crispy rice w/ spicy tuna, salmon roll, Japanese red snapper, and the scallops. The rock shrimp tempura was so good. Each bite was the perfect size, and the taste was consistent for each one. The crispy rice w/ spicy tuna...I have no words. It was so good. I'm honestly upset right now because I don't have any in front of me. It was a very interesting and fun way to eat it too. The rice part was this little cube on a toothpick, and you would then put the tuna on it, and then add the sauce to the tuna. It was such a cool way to eat it. Hands down, my favorite dish of the entire night. So simple, but so tasty. The salmon roll was pretty good as well. Good size as well. The scallops and the red snapper were good too. I liked the red snapper more than the scallops. The scallops tasted kinda bland in my opinion. Overall though, the food was all pretty tasty! We also got some cocktails as well, I can't remember what they were, but they were good. Our server did an excellent job. She made some good recommendations, and suggested that we get a few different things to share. She was very attentive and consistently checked on us throughout the entire dinner.Nobu is pretty expensive, so keep that in mind if you're coming in. It's more of a special occasion type of place (in my opinion), not your everyday kind of place at all. This experience at Nobu was great. It made for a memorable first-time at Nobu. I definitely plan on visiting other Nobus around the world in the future.

The omakase had some delicious dishes out of 8 total , but overall, I thought it felt short of a traditional omakase meal. There were a few rough cuts of fish that was harder to chew , the rice felt a little too seasoned, and some dishes oozed grease and was very salty. After the meal, I was superrrr thirsty and felt dehydrated. Never had that happen after sushi. It seemed there were too many added flavors instead of letting fresh sushi speak for itself. Disappointed with my experience.

Our best Nobu experience yet - so glad we were able to sit in front of Chef Shine! I've been here a few times and have not really been impressed with my experience here until this time around! We had a reservation at the sushi counter and had a lovely omakase experience! We started with a few drinks - I got hot green tea, grapefruit on the rocks cocktail, sparkling water. We also got the 16 oz bottle of Nobu junmai daiginjo to start. Loved my cocktail - very refreshing, a little sweet but balanced by the tanginess of grapefruit juice. Cute and pink in color, too! And I always love my hot tea with sushi! The junmai daiginjo sake we got was very smooth in flavor, easy to drink. Killed the bottle pretty quickly, so we ended up getting the YK-35 halfway through our meal. The YK-25 junmai daiginjo premium sake came in a cute metallic pot, and it was more crisp in taste but also easy to sip on and enjoy.Okay, enough about drinks - now for the FOOD experience! Our chef started us with a sashimi course - NC oyster, kasugodai sashimi, and hotaru ika. I loved the sashimi, and the cool thing here is that they took the bone of the fish after we had eaten the sashimi, fried it, and then brought it back out, head and all, for us to enjoy a few courses later! Our nigiri courses included the following: madai, hirame, mahata, kinmedai, diver scallop, sakura masu, aji, sayori, kisu, saba.We also had a wasabi ceviche with geoduck and octopus, followed by cooked geoduck. Then back to nigiri: aburi sake, negitoro, otoro topped with PLENTY (I mean, plenty!!!) of caviar, Hokkaido uni, A5 wagyu, unagi, and sumi ika. I loved the way Chef Shine prepared our hotate - lightly torched, topped with freshly grated French truffle. Very rich in flavor, and the flavor changes as you bite through the nigiri! I noticed that the Nobu style is very unique - they use a combination of bold flavors, in a way reminiscent of another omakase place on Greenville Ave (shoutout to Shoyo!), that complements the suble, fresh flavors of the fish. The shari we had was very rich in flavor as well, but just to the right extent so as not to overpower the fish. We ended our meal with a kitchen course - grilled Chilean sea bass with miso reduction and truffle. Lots of flavor going on here - sweet miso and rich truffle with the soft sea bass. I think the sauce could have been less sweet, but I enjoyed the fish! We then got the miso cappuccino, which is basically vanilla and coffee ice cream, an excellent finisher for our meal.Overall, we had an exquisite omakase experience led by Chef Shine, and we will certainly be back, sooner rather than later!
Be the first to ReplyTo start off Gina V is a terrible server/order taker.
I don't know their steps of service here at Nobu Dallas but Gina literally took our order and did her best to avoid us the rest of the night. I feel bad for the support staff and they are the only reason why Gina got tipped at all (I've seriously had better service at Waffle House at 3am). I understand that our table was low on the priority list for her (2 top) but every table deserves the benefit of the doubt. However we did enjoy the food though! I know reviews like this mean nothing to a restaurant like Nobu, but this was just my personal experience dining here.
Be the first to ReplyCame for happy hour and it was an alright experience.
The shrimp and black cod were my favorite items. The lychee martini is a must. I also love the hotel that the restaurant is in. Our waitress was friendly and checked up on us often. Regarding parking, they do have valet parking. Staff didn't want to seat my friend and I initially because they complained the bar was full for happy hour and you need reservations. I've never been to Nobu and you need reservations for happy hour. There was only a couple at the bar. After speaking with the manager, they sat us. Prior to us finishing our dining experience, the bar was still empty -- so I didn't appreciate the dialogue from the hostess table initially. Cute spot for a cute date night with your friends or partner during the week. If you dine in, definitely make a resy. If you have 4 or more to try or come during happy hour, plan accordingly lol and be prepared to get turned away if staff are unfriendly or prejudice.

Food was good but not as good as the one in Los Angeles in my opinion. My favorite was probably the lychee martini .
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and great server! Really good atmosphere.
The server made jokes and was very entertaining, and was ok with us ordering more food after already serving us food. Also gave us an extra glass of wine.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a really nice team event here after a trade show.
It's located inside the Crescent Hotel. The restaurant is beautiful and our private room was also great with floor to ceiling windows. The staff was great and very helpful. Everything was served family style. Let's talk about the food. YUM. The sushi was so fresh. Rolls can get super spicy so order wisely. I was really happy with my experience here.
