Nua Beverly Hills Reviews from The Last Year
I cannot stop raving about this place.
The food was outstanding. We had the hummus, eggplant, garden salad, cauliflower, and chicken skewers to share among four girls. Everything was beyond amazing besides the salad which was a little basic. The meat is all kosher which was such a plus. I love the location of this place but also how intimate and quiet it is. The only complaint is that the service was a little slow. Definitely coming back though!
Good stay!
Overall a great stay here with more pros than cons! Pros: Great location, Rodeo Drive only a few minutes walk and a 20 min drive to LAX airport. Friendly and helpful staff Felt safe (I was a female solo traveller) Cons: It is a little noisy, the road next to the hotel is busy all through the right and I could hear other guests in the corridor Rooms are very small and could do with a bit of maintenance

Great food and setting! Kosher meat ! Our server was knowledgeable, and warm and funny. I no longer live in L. A., but can see eating here when in town.

First time here and it was amazing! The hummus was the most hearty, filling, unique and delicious hummus I've ever had. It was addictive. Also had the shashouka (first time ever trying) and it was super flavorful and hearty. The portions here weee just insane. The atmosphere was not too busy at the early lunch hour on a Friday. Service was friendly, prompt, and great with recommendations. Definitely will come here again!
The offer valet in front.
Located in the Sonder hotel sits this cute, open-air outdoor patio spot. Came during the day time so it was very bright and enjoyable to dine at. The servers were super kind and helpful. The food came out pretty quickly. Fries are always a good starter. The hummus was fire, but you might need another pita to finish it. The branzino was perfectly seared with the grilled veggies. The ribeye was okay, we got it medium rare, but I feel like it was kind of cold. All the cocktails were bomb, ask if it's too sweet as they can switch out some ingredients or add less sweetener.

Food was incredibly good here! On hot days they should probably turn up the AC and close the windows, but otherwise no complaints.
Really nice spot with great food and service.
Easy valet out front in a chic neighborhood of BH. Would definitely take a date here (if I ever can get one)
Third time was the charm.
I previously said after two not so great experiences at the restaurant I would try it one more time, and i gotta say...so glad i did! Sat outside and it was so nice. So many people here for lunch i was wondering what service would be like. It was great!! The woman who was helping us (had her daughter's June 13 birthdate tattooed on her arm) was cheerful, helpful, accommodating and would come over to the table often to check on us. It looked like she and one other "busgirl" were the only two I saw outside, but they both were incredibly helpful and prompt. Had the charred eggplant again (you gotta to) and ordered burgers this time. Juicy and cooked to order, with a crisp hot French fries. Had a great experience and can't wait to go back again next week, thank you!

I went here because I heard they have very tasty food and oh were they correct! The staff was also very accommodating and attentive. The ambiance was so cool and enjoyable. I will definitely come back next time.

Food is sooooo yummy and fresh!! The cauliflower, hamburgers, and schnitzel are some of my favorites. I love the casual elegance to it and the fact everyone is so friendly (even when we have screaming babies with us)

amazing, delicious foo, great atmosphere and very professional staff, was enjoying our time with friends a lo.
Taste, affordability, and ambiance.
Finding a restaurant that does 2 of these 3 traits well is already an achievement. Nua having all 3, and in Beverly Hills no less, seems like something of a small miracle. This casual chic restaurant is located in a small boutique hotel nestled close enough to all the local attractions yet far away enough from the most hectic streets. All of the food is phenomenal. We had the Shakshouka (tomato and egg sauce dipped with bread), Borekas Sabih (puff pastry with vegetarian filling), Arayes (similar to empanadas), and Challah french toast. Every item we ordered was less than $20, which is quite reasonable in 2024. Very underrated place.
We were in town for the Beverly Hills Art Show and decided
We were in town for the Beverly Hills Art Show and decided to try Nua since it was nearby and had outdoor seating and a menu that appealed to our very particular child. They were hopping busy when we arrived. Initially the hostess said we could get a patio table if we waited 15-20 minutes, then she rearranged the seating for another reservation and gave us the last small table on the patio almost immediately. Our server was kind but incredibly busy, so we waited a while to order, a long time to get water, and an even longer time for our food. When it finally arrived, it was only my husband's and child's orders, and the hostess regretfully informed me that they had run out of the dish I wanted. To make up for that, however, she said they would comp another entree for me and have it cooked immediately and they would also comp dessert. That more than made up for the disappointment, IMO - I have so much respect for restaurants that can handle their mistakes with such grace. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and it indeed arrived quickly and was delicious. The challah bread was very light and easy to eat with a fork and knife. The avocado was high quality and I loved the radishes and the smoked salmon, which didn't have that fishy quality it does at some places. The salad that accompanied it was also tasty with perfectly ripe strawberry pieces. Child loved her Israeli breakfast - the Jerusalem bagel was much lighter than a typical bagel, and it was delicious eaten with the hummus. The eggs were also outstanding - nice and fluffy. Husband was happy with his chicken schnitzel sandwich as well. The desserts were outstanding, and here is where I am actually happy that they didn't have what I wanted and comped some desserts for us because I never would have ordered them otherwise, and they were worth a trip in and of themselves. The saffron pistachio ice cream tasted exactly like the ingredients and was cold and sweet but not too sweet. The halva cake was like nothing that I've ever had before - it was light and barely sweet at all (I think the server said the only sugar came from the dates that went into making it). And the berries that came with it were high quality as well. We are definitely adding Nua to our must repeat list. High quality food and service in a charming setting - you really can't go wrong
Cutest restaurant in west LA.
Me and my girl friends went there for brunch a couple of weeks ago. Their beverage and foods are absolutely amazing. Try BUTCHER'S CUT PRIME BEEF BURGER!! So good!!!
I came the first time, the second week they opened.
It was a reservation to eat inside for four. It was early evening. There was one table seated inside for the whole restaurant. I was happy i made a reservation for inside because it was chilly. I was told we had to eat outside in the patio as all the tables inside were for reservations. I told them i was a reservation, but they wouldn't seat me so we left. Never to come back....but i did this week as my girlfriend raves about the food. So we made Another reservation for four. I was the first to arrive and asked to sit inside as it was a cloudy day. Again, i was told (with two tables inside this time) it was not possible but i could choose whatever i wanted outside. I have no idea who they are keeping the tables inside for, but certainly not me!! Oh well. I sat down, and four cardboard menus were brought to the table. Two of them were filthy with past food stains. I suggested to the waitress that they shouldn't serve stained menus. She smiled said and she would come back with another...but never did. I ordered a cup of regular coffee while waiting for my buddies. It came hot and tasted good.. i was feeling better, but when i picked the cup off of the saucer there was something attached to the saucer. Dried Food? Snot? I had no idea. I was not enthusiastic about eating here! My friends came and when another unfurled her napkin from the silverware, it was stained with something dark. Dried blood? Lipstick? Who knew and we hadn't ordered yet! When a waiter came over to the table he informed us that we were too late for brunch (it was 1:00) but subsequently found out brunch could be served until 4:00 pm. Our waiter just couldn't smile the entire time. Very melancholy. So we ordered food. And then there was something so surprising!!!!!! THE ABSOLUTE INCREDIBLE FOOD! Well almost everything. We ordered the charred eggplant which was so yummy. We asked for more pita bread, but our waiter brought it after the eggplant, falafel and Shuk salad was finished, what a shame. The pita bread was fluffy and warm. When I asked if they made it in house he said no but would check where it was made. Needless to say he never responded. The biggest disappointment was the arayes. Described as spiced meat fried in little pita breads. However, the pitas were charred to being black on the outside and the meat was dry. The shakshuka was just ok. But the Jerusalem bagel was delish! I really wonder where their breads and pastries come from. For dessert we tried little chocolate "rugelach" croissants. He said they were small. They aren't. We left two on the plate. So as much as i would hav e loved to have given a five star review...cause the food by and large was really tasty, the rest of the experience wasn't. And they really need to get their cleanliness up to speed. I will try them one more time, and hope it's an incredible experience.
Great food and service! I like the location as well.
It's good that they have a lovely garden outside, it's very pretty.
Super kind and friendly server! Delicious food! Beautiful
Super kind and friendly server! Delicious food! Beautiful and peaceful ambiance!! It takes a little bit of time to get your food, but it was totally worth the wait. I wholeheartedly recommend Nua and can't wait to return soon:)

I've been wanting to try this place for so long and finally went today for lunch! It's such a cute and cozy spot, making you feel like you're in a different city or country. The food is amazing. The server mentioned the portions were very sharable, so we got the chicken schnitzel sandwich with fries. I added a side of tahini and zhug, and the taste was incredible. We also tried the charred eggplant, which was good, though I wasn't a fan of the sweet flavor. I have to give a shoutout to Kay who is so sweet, and attentive. He made sure that our experience was amazing, and was so kind to us. Thank you Kayan.
Nice relaxed spot to stop in for a bite.
The hummus was especially excellent. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating options and seems like the kind of place where you could sit a while and work if you needed to. Service was friendly.
Food is good, service is terrible.
Both times I've come here I've been ignored. The first time I didn't know better so I stuck it out. This time I was seated and after 10 mins of no water, no place setting, no menu, no greeting, I left. Went around the corner to Il Tram where the food and service are consistently excellent. I wish Nua would get its act together and hire a competent FOH. Food is very good and the patio is cute and secluded but service is a complete joke.
Really good food! Great decor, very romantic.
The hummus was perfectly creamy and that egg and chickpeas on top is kind of genius. Crispy cauliflower: great crunch and coated perfectly with delicious tahini dressing. Branzino: just right amount of seasoning, love that it comes with roasted veggies, beautiful presentation. It was slightly overcooked for my taste, but I forgive you ;) Coming back soon to taste more!
Food was delicious! Our server Kai was great.
Ambiance is cozy & perfect for conversations or meetings. Patio decor is beautiful.

Great service and ambiance although the restaurant was smaller than I was expecting. Most of the food was good but my favorite was the chicken thighs
Close to rodeo but feel like a cave
This is the letter I wrote them. Dear Sonder, Please let me explain the reason for my failing score on my recent stay. Let me say the location of the hotel was the only positive that we enjoyed during our stay. First off, when we entered the room and saw the tight quarters, we were a little shocked. The bathroom is certainly dated and could use some definite updating, The sink looked knocked out of place. The shower and bathroom floor with the rough concrete look was a little intimidating. The drain cover in the shower not being secured was also a nice touch that we found out the hard way. Then, after traveling all day on Tuesday April 9th, (day we checked in) we decided to retire early for the evening. We were awoken at 9:00 PM by three of the restaurant kitchen staff, sitting in chairs eating their dinner outside our window talking and laughing loudly without care of disturbing patrons. I finally had enough and decided to open the shade and asked them to shut up. Because of this ground level window with staff continuously outside we were unable to open our shades or curtains and made our stay feel as if we were in a cave. (I have pictures and hope I can supply them here). The following day we were getting ready to go out for the day. We were going to lock some things up into the safe that was inoperative, not to mention not even secured in the cabinet. In my opinion that even defeats the purpose of a safe if it can be picked up and carried away. My Fiancé decided to contact the desk about the safe and the noise complaint from the night before. They finally were able to bring us another non secured safe into the room and told us the restaurant was informed about the noise and it would not happen again. At that time, we decided to ask for no room service and just requested towel exchange. We were not comfortable with people in our room at this point. That night we were out with people late and came home late and went right to bed. We did not notice any noise as again we were really exhausted. Thursday night (our last night) we had a nice dinner at the Italian place one block over. We then decided to pack up some stuff and stay in for the evening to watch some TV. At about 10:00PM we were again awakened by excessive noise outside our room from what we believe to be either kitchen staff or maintenance. To say the least we will not choose to stay with you in this location again. I am still deciding which review sites to share this with as I am a member of several. Regards, This was their Lack Luster reply. Thank you for the candid feedback after your recent stay with us. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with the noise keeping you up at night was not up to Sonder standards. Please reach out to us during your next stay and let us know if there’s anything we can do to make your experience more enjoyable. We’d love the chance to make it up to you in the future.

Lovely brunch spot! Cute indoor space and an airy patio make it a perfect option no matter the weather. Plenty of vegetarian options too
Not the biggest fan of kosher food because I feel like it
Not the biggest fan of kosher food because I feel like it always lacks flavor. However, this place was a stand out. Everything I had was delicious. My favorite was the eggplant with the warm delicious pitas. The hummus was also delicious and creamy, and homemade. I would not get the Jerusalem bagel again.... I feel like it's unnecessary. The chicken schnitzel is also juicy and the seasoning on the french fries are great. The place itself is cute. It has a small patio. Service was also great, and the server was very honest. Definitely will be back. I want to try their breakfast.

Wow what a spot amazing !!! Great ambiance best steak I ever had by far best best !!! Desert amazing. Our server was Alex he went above and beyond can't wait to come back !!!
Good location, but needs work.
This hotel is really an Air BnB and should be advertised as such. There is no on site housekeeping or maintenance and no way to call the front desk. The desk is not manned overnight. Unfortunately, we had no hot water for several hours. However, Sonder did provide compensation for the inconvenience. It’s in a great location, and the style and decor are cool.

I had no idea Nua was an Israeli restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. I got to try the Shakshuka and Challah French Toast, both of which were excellent (and having grown up eating Shakshuka I'm fairly picky about it) their tahini was delicious as well. Very cute ambiance but parking can be tricky (there's a two-hours free garage one block away on Beverly). I will be back :)
Love the vibe, location and amazing Israeli food.
We sat in the garden area and I felt like I was outside of Los Angeles. The service was incredible very attentive. The Israeli breakfast (OMG the hummus -incredible)and Challah French toast was to die for. I can't recommend Nua enough. Definitely try the brunch, you won't be disappointed.
The ambiance is great and outdoor setting is beautiful.
Food is fantastic. They have lots of varieties, one better than the other but for me the Bronzino is my favorite but have had their burgers and salads and are also very good. Servers were attentive and respectful. A must go place to experience a great outdoor setting and good food.

In town for college tours with my daughter, found Nua on Yelp. We love Mediterranean food! Arrived Sunday morning just after they opened and were seated on the patio. We were ignored for a bit, then another couple were seated at the table next to us. A server came out promptly and took their drink order, glanced our way then promptly ignored us. We thought maybe she we would be right out but she returned to the other couple and took their food order, ignoring us again. There were TWO occupied tables on the patio so you can't tell me she didn't see us. Got the message loud and clear so got up and left and spent our money elsewhere. LOVED Croft Alley!!! Only giving Nua one star bc Yelp won't let me leave zero stars
Delightfully experience, great service, location and the rooms are clean and very fashionable, breakfast is delicious ❤️
A great experience, fashionable place, excellent service and food, very reasonable price for what they offer, minimalist rooms of good size and with everything you need ❤️, very good service and clean rooms Great price, service food is delicious and the place is very fashionable, rooms clean and service great
Overall good but needs a bit more managing.
I would start by saying that overall I really liked this hotel, boutique vibe, great photos everywhere, nice staff and bar/restaurant area with great food but….the devil as they say is in the detail and in my room there was a level of inattention to detail in the finishing that let the hotel down and detracted from its good elements. Tatty paintwork, marked bedding, it looked like an iron burn and a badly creased under sheet and a hole in the bathroom door and a torn shower curtain. I like polished concrete as an architectural feature but in a hotel bathroom it just looks a bit grubby so detracts from the experience of what is a pleasant venue in a good location.
Charming, Quaint, Foodie and Comfortable.
Super easy check in- & out. Charming. For the value, and location, can not beat this location. The restaurant downstairs might have some of the best food in Beverly Hills. No frills, so room not huge, and most is basic, but for what I needed it for, perfect. Will stay there again soon.
Mostly great things to say.
Great location, spacious room, pleasant staff. The room was a bit dusty and the bathroom could have used a little more TLC from the housekeeping team. I used a small bathroom towel to finish the job myself, then enjoyed the rest of the stay.
Reservation mess
Be careful with reservation if you need flexibility! The website does not let you book more than 1 room. Customer service helped me book a 2nd room to fit our whole family, but the 2nd room was under a different non refundable reservation. I was able to cancel the room I booked directly but not the one that the rep booked for me. Our plans changed and unfortunately we’re out of pocket $900+ for this error.
Cute and convenient property
Great boutique hotel in an awesome location! My company recently added Sonder as a preferred supplier so I thought I'd give them a try on a recent business trip. I love the check in process where you receive the code to get into the hotel (if arriving after midnight) and the code to your room. I arrived around 10:30pm and I was a little apprehensive since it was late, dark, and I'm a woman on her own, but it was such a seamless experience. Within 2 minutes of walking through the lobby door, I was in my room. The bed was so comfortable and I loved the cool cement look in the bathroom. The restaurant was pretty and I wish I'd have had time to try the food. I'll definitely stay there again if I need to travel to L.A. again.
