We visited around 4.30pm on the 6th were we asked to wait for 5 minutes to be seated, bit strange as there was only around 10 people in the restuarant. The alarm bells were going off when the male host was emotionless and had the attitude that he did not want to be there. When we were seated,we ordered drinks which then took 15-20 mins to arrive. ( I did have to ask where out waitress was with we wanted to place our order) also had to ask if they had a children menu as we had 2very young children with us. when they arrived, we placed our order but still once again had to ask another member of staff as we were missing drinks! Once again there we so many people working more than people eating all having fun with each other and alot of laughing coming from the back which I presume is the kitchen area. My salad for my steak arrived after 15 mins but couldnt eat it as I had no cutlery but I was happy to wait for everyones food to arrive. When the food did hit the table my ribeye was well done not medium my childs joey steak was rare when ordered medium well my partners sirloin was medium not welld done the carrots on the plates were raw like they had tries to be cooked the same length of time as courgettes haha never going to work! I was waiting another 10-15 mins to try and speak to our waitress but she was like huodini so I asked for someone to get her from the kitchen were she seemed to hang out. She did offer to replace my meal but I explained it took half hour for this meal so eveyone else would have finished by the time it gets cooked again, were she replied the rush has gone now so it would be quicker, but I had to decline as with only 10 people in the restuarant if they thought that was a rush alarm bells were well and truley screaming now! After another 10 minutes a gentleman in black chef uniform appeared atthe table im guessing a chef/ manager? He was a better attitude and apologised which he took in a good nature (still no idea if he was in charge or who was). Our waitress made a special appearance when asking if we wanted a dessert this was only the third time we seen he at no point we were asked by our waitress if we wanted another drink. She gave us the bill and then poof dissapeared again, my family left the restuarant in which I waited for 5 minutes to pay the bill once again nobody about a young boy in white shirt appeared another host? I asked him if I could pay the bill please he said sure took my actual credit card and dissapeared out rhe kitchen area. I waited another 5 minutes for him to come back where he placed the receipt on the table with a bit of attitude, when I was about to leave he said with more attitide you need to sign that so I asked him for a pen and guess what he never had one so he had to go and ask other staff members for one! When I signed it I turned away where he mumbled something under his breath at me, I turned around and askes him what he said he smurked and said nothing, I then carried on walking where he wistled and said something else under his breath. I am to old to react ti someone so young and rude but even writing this hours after the visit can not believe after being in the industry for 25 years I have been spoken rudleyand treated to like this. With so many steakhouses and restuarants in such a close area staff training should be looked at along with attitides.
