a solid little spot food was good but i don't just hand out 4 and 5 stars. service was good croquetas slayed. it is more of a bar than a restaurant to me
Be the first to ReplyThe food was alright at best.
We got the grilled pork, burger, potato bravas and the mushroom risotto. Compared to other tapas places we've been to, this was an underwhelming experience. I wish others didn't give this place such good reviews so I would've gone elsewhere for lunch today.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service!! Beer is cold and food was delicious.
There was nothing that we tried and did not like. It can get crowded so do not be detoured by the wait.
Be the first to ReplySuper underwhelming.
Restaurant opens its doors at 8 but the kitchen opens at 8:30 pm. Came on a Tuesday evening and there was a line initially, but the restaurant didn't fill until 8:45 or so.The food was very underwhelming. This place has notably higher pricing than other spots in town and the food is noticeably worse (but plated pretty). The pork cheek was not bad, the potatoes were also okay (although 6.5 euros for the size felt like a bit of a rip off), the tuna Tataki was awful (overcooked and under seasoned), and the risotto was undercooked and the rice was chewy. Drinks were not bad, just on the more expensive side for Sevilla. All in was around 50 euros.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the best place we found in all of Seville.
The food is wonderful and the staff were a delight. Also, it's inexplicably inexpensive. A must!
Be the first to ReplyThis is a very trendy and busy spot so fully expect to be
This is a very trendy and busy spot so fully expect to be waitlisted if you're coming for dinner. You get a free bowl of olives to start and some alcoholic beverage to end. I don't drink so I have zero idea what it was lol. Might've been sherry because I hear that's wildly popular in Seville. The Patatas bravas here were the first bit of heat I got in any Spanish food I had throughout the entire country lol and were probably closest to what actual Patatas bravas are supposed to look at taste like traditionally. The eggplant sandwich was pretty good and kept well, so I had it for breakfast the next day. Because they're so busy you'll probably be waiting a while to get your check so don't expect to be anywhere else after and just enjoy the moment and the chaos. They do change some of their specials (which actually are on their menu) so be sure to ask what it is specifically.
Be the first to ReplyReally really solid place to get tapas if you're in Sevilla.
I loved it so much I went back again. The place gets full pretty quickly and it's a first come first-serve kind of place, so get there early. It's good for small parties (1-4) but nothing bigger than that, really. The things I had were: papas bravas, fried chicken wings, and the popular steak dish. The potatoes were great, the chicken wings were fine but nothing special, and the steak I was glad to have come back for on another occasion. The service is fine if you don't expect smiles, but they are friendly and attentive given the amount of people and small # of people on staff. If I ever come back to Andalusia, this is definitely somewhere I'll seek out again.
Be the first to ReplyAnother great spot to eat at in the heart of Seville.
If you can get a spot here or don't mind waiting, I highly recommend you coming here. There are a lot of tourists here, but that doesn't mean the food isn't amazing. This is a great fusion restaurants that has a bit of everything, like the chicken wings which were awesome, cool cocktails, burgers and potstickers. I would highly recommend the wings as well as the steak, which of course came with a side of potatoes and padron peppers.
Be the first to ReplyThey offer great tapas with a twist.
What we ordered is different than what we got. So what we got are: patatas bravas, eggplant sandwich, pulled pork taco, fried bass, beef sirloin, and roasted vegetable salad. Prices are higher than other tapa places. The service is good. I like that their menu (la carta) is both in English and Spanish. I only have the English menu so I ordered in English. Little did I know that the waitress doesn't speak English and I tried to translate it with the little Spanish I know. She still got our order wrong. We ate what we got and everything taste great. My personal favorites are the fried bass and eggplant sandwich. It will be helpful to put numbers on the menu or to put the English and Spanish menu together to avoid mix up.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing tapas!!! Delicious food and reasonable prices.
Try the chicken vegetable ravioli, which is sort of an equivalent to a Spanish dumpling, and a chicken vegetable wok -absolutely delicious
Be the first to ReplyOvrjas Negras got a worthy mention from the Michelin guide,
Ovrjas Negras got a worthy mention from the Michelin guide, praising the restaurant' being "intimate with a relaxed atmosphere, as well as tapas that features small plates which are a fusion of local flavours and influences from other countries around the world". My favorite dish the the "pluma" Iberica pork dish that is cooked medium and full of flavor. Another standout would be the grilled cod - sooo fresh! Reservation recommended as it can get crowded (was full on a Tuesday lunch time)
Be the first to ReplyExcellent choice when in Sevilla.
The risotto, patatas bravas, sangria was outstanding. Loved this place and the service was quick and with no attitude. Good value quality food.

So delicious that we went twice!! We had visited and eaten at Ovejas Negras 5 years ago and loved it so when we went back to Sevilla, it was at the top of our list to go back to. The service was great, the food was delicious and the sangria is so good!
Be the first to ReplyThis establishment has its own charm.
Not only was it mentioned in the 2019 Michelín Guide, but the service and food were amazing. We ordered pork belly sliders, ensalada rusa (EXQUISITE), and the eggplant pepito; it was SO GOOD. The desserts were all very rich and delicious.

Great lunch! we were wet tired and hungry, the place was busy but they found a little spot for us and we had a great authentic time. everything we had on the menu was good and their service was prompt despite how busy they were. our 3 ladies made a great team making sure everyone in the rstaurant had what they needed. the kitchen cranked out ghe orders like a well oiled machine. if you are in sevilla, we strongly recommend this spot. Modern, fun, quality and genuine. they even endured mi esposos espanol, que horrible!

Nice place to check out! Surprise to find some Japanese dishes here in Seville. The goise & pudding dessert is a must-try.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic food, fast-friendly service with a great vibe.
You don't want to miss experiencing the restuarant. The restaurant opens at 8:45 PM and you should be there by 8:15-8:30 and wait in line. Seating capacity is around 25+. We sat at the bar and enjoyed everything.
Be the first to ReplyWe had dinner with friends and the tapas are very taste.
We got a table quickly and everything was good as per what we expected
Be the first to ReplyThe kind people of Ovejas Negras let us come in right
The kind people of Ovejas Negras let us come in right before their kitchen was closing for the afternoon. We ordered some wine and a couple plates. The tomato burrata salad was insanely flavorful and it was topped with creamy burrata and fresh mint. The Iberico Ham Carpaccio was loaded with truffle and Parmesan. I highly recommend both dishes because you will definitely leave happy and satisfied!
