We went here for our anniversary dinner and from the get go it was next level service. From the moment you walk in and walk past the open kitchen, the host, servers, and even the chefs, were so welcoming. There was a handwritten note for our anniversary and we were treated to a complimentary glass of bubbly (which was crisp and dry and delicious). Props to the staff for going with the flow with our unconventional relationship structure (to be fair it is Brooklyn so you know, not really that unconventional!) We did the prix fixe menu in the garden room, which had immaculate vibes. All the wait staff were attentive and knowledgable about the food, drink, and wine menu and were able to answer all our questions. The snack course was delicious hot bread and butter, and a wonderfully dressed mustard green salad with buckwheat crepes. Inventive and funWe were able to try both options for each course and they were all very good. When we went the app was tuna crudo (delicious) and a radicchio and beet salad. Now I'm not a huge fan of beets because they taste like dirt imo. these were a particular type of beet that was more sweet and it was honestly the best beet I've ever had.Mains were beef or trout and the trout was so succulent and melt-in your mouth. The beef had a wonderful grilled/smoked taste and was cooked really well. Dessert was a passionfruit tart and a dark chocolate mouse/cake that were both very decadent. We also got an additional complimentary profiterole that was also very good. We tried several of the cocktails, some wine, and a locally produced dessert wine and an amaro. Only thing I can ding them on is that they don't have decaf coffee but I think we can let that slide!I would definitely come back and try the longer tasting menu, and our waiter said that the prix fixe changes very regularly as well. 11/10 would recommend.
