Be the first to ReplyAmazing place.
To be honest my first visit wasn't that great, but every other time it has been the best. Definitely the Thai place I would take my family or friends to if they ever visit Toronto.
Be the first to ReplyWe heard this is the best in Toronto.
We had a great time. The food was very authentic and is also a very hip place.

Been coming here for a a while and it's always been really good but a word of warning it's spicy and very good. I have done takeout mainly, as I like to sit beside my date, rather than across the table from them. Have sat up at the bar and had a margarita and the bartender was very good.
Be the first to ReplyCame on a Sunday around 5pm and were seated immediately.
Visiting from California so we ordered a ton of dishes to try, such as the mango slaw, moo ping, pad thai, khao soi, and the pad gra pow. Everything was excellent!! So flavorful and nothing was overcooked :) We also got several drinks because they were so well priced (but that could be because everything is just ridiculously priced in Cali). Overall, the vibe in here was so fun and lively and will definitely recommend this spot to anyone, even locals!

Definitely come here for great food, drinks, and a great social atmosphere. Prepare for 15-20 minute wait because it is very popular but the staff is super friendly and attentive. The ambiance is comfortable, fun photos, and sayings to keep you occupied during the wait or entertained because there's something to catch your attention on every turn. My friend and I enjoyed all the flavors our appetizers had to offer. Thank you for an enjoyable experience in Toronto!

This place is definitely packed 24/7 and super duper loud! Came here before 5pm and was told there's already a 20 mins wait. However, got a text message in less than 10 mins so it wasn't too bad. The seats/tables were small and I had multiple bags with me so it made it extra difficult to sit. People also kept walking behind me and knocking off my belongings. I wish I had the a seat against the wall but oh wells... Ordered few things to try. The pork skewer was the bomb! The chicken curry was good but the bamboo rice wasn't enough to finish the whole curry dish. We ended up ordering another rice to go with it. The tom yum soup was tasty. The pad thai with beef was chewy. The beef was super overcooked and it tasted like liver? The thai tea was super cold and sweet. Don't think I'll come back to this location, but perhaps the one in midtown. We were super thirsty after dinner...
Be the first to ReplyVery tasty Thai food.
Visiting from QC and had to try, because it was recomended. I had beef noodle soup. I enjoyed very much my meal! If I am back in the area, I would love to try this place again.

Went on a Wednesday night, Had to wait a few minutes for a table. Waited at the bar, and ordered some drinks. Bartender Zavier was friendly and attentive. We were sat down shortly after. Our waitress was a sweetheart. She was patient and went over the menu with us. She gave us great recommendations. Even though the place was lively and packed it felt intimate. This restaurant has such a great vibe, such a unique atmosphere. I felt like we stepped into another dimension. Nothing like the cold night it was in the city. Honestly we had a great time from the moment we stepped in till we walked out. The staff is welcoming. The food is delicious and full of flavor. We ordered the Pad Gra Prow. The egg was fried perfectly. The spice was Worth it. We loved our time here. This checks off all the boxes for a great time. From date night to drinks with friends to a cozy night out. Would recommend to everyone !
Be the first to ReplyThis place exceeded my expectations.
By far the best, freshest, Thai food I have had in my life. Service was amazing. Drinks were killer. The food had my mouth watering the whole time. I was excited for the next dish to come out. Ambiance is fun and trendy. We ordered the pad Thai, the pad see ew noodles, spring rolls and the moo-ping. Everything was full of flavor, piping hot, and mouth watering. Cocktails were amazing as well - my favorite being the Thai mojito. They have reservations available for you to make but I love that they cut back their reservation amount to accommodate more walk in guests. They really know what they are doing. Just a lovely experience.

Went to have Thai food on a cold day in Toronto right when I walked into the place I loved it and knew it was going to be good, went with a coworker who tried Thai for the first time and absolutely loved it
Be the first to ReplyThr khao Soy here is a highlight.
Big space that feels empty most of the so it isn't a great place to take a date.

The line was out the door when we got there, luckily we had reservations but if we didn't, this place is definitely worth the wait! This is the type of place you get shivers down your spine from the food. If you are in town visiting, definitely try this restaurant out.

I ordered the pad Thai and it was completely different from the downtown venue. No where near as tasty But recently ordered in the green curry and it was delicious.
Be the first to ReplySuch good food!!! Well worth the long wait.
The flavours are unlike anything, there is nothing like it outside of Thailand!
Be the first to ReplyPai is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant, and I
Pai is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant, and I couldn't recommend it enough. I have ordered from here numerous times since first trying it last winter (2022), and every time has been an absolute delight. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, and the decor sets the perfect ambiance for an intimate evening out.One of the main positives of this restaurant is the food - it is absolutely delicious and unlike any other Thai food I have tried. The flavors are unique and exciting, and it is evident that the chefs have a deep understanding of Thai cuisine. Whether you're in the mood for spicy noodles or a curry dish, the food at Pai is always a treat for the taste buds. The drink options are also diverse, and the cocktail menu is especially noteworthy. (although I personally recommend their beer) In addition to the food and drink options, the staff at Pai is wonderful. The waiters are friendly, professional, and attentive, and they always make sure that your dining experience is as pleasant as possible. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. One minor issue to keep in mind is that the wait can be longer than other restaurants, especially during peak hours. It is advisable to sign in or join the waitlist sooner rather than later to avoid any unnecessary delays. Additionally, it's important to note that the spicy level is beyond the normal "hot sauce" spicy. Even if you're usually good with spicy food, I recommend starting with the low - middle level of spice recommendations as the highest level can be very intense. In conclusion, Pai is a must-visit Thai restaurant for anyone who loves great food, a cozy atmosphere, and wonderful service. From the diverse drink options to the excellent food choices and the friendly and professional staff, the experience at Pai is simply outstanding. I would highly recommend giving it a try and savoring every bite of their authentic and delicious Thai cuisine.

Love this place and all Chef Nuit and Jeff Regular's spots across the city. Great food and great atmosphere! Any of this duo's restaurants is worth the experience. :)

We had a delicious dinner at Pai after a long day of sightseeing. My group of 5 was able to walk-in and be seated after a short wait. The decor felt like a family restaurant you'd see traveling in Southeast Asia, where I'm from, which made me excited for the meal ahead. To start, I ordered the Tea Mac and it was perfect. All the flavor of a thai tea with the buzz of vodka. My group shared the Moo Ping, which was smoky and the right amount of savory and sweet. I had the Gaeng Hunglay as my entreé and wow this was stellar. The pork belly was amazingly tender and the curry was thick and savory. I was also able to try some of my friends dishes and I loved the Pad See Ew and the Khao Soi. Overall, this place is a must-try if you like Thai food and want to experience the delicious cuisine of Northern Thailand! Pro Tip: Come after 4pm as there are some items that cannot be ordered before 4pm!

Before visiting, I saw Pai referenced everywhere so I jnew that we had to go. Given that it was saturday night I was a bit worried about the wait but it worked out that we had to wait on a friend until later at night anyway. It was, in fact busy, but we got on the list at 7:40 and were told the wait would be 1-1:30h. And they have a takeout counter too which would be so much faster! Our's friend's eta was about 9:20 which worked out perfected because that's about when I got texted. In the time spent waiting we had a shopped around eaton centre, had a great haul, and were able to make it back slightly over the 10 min callback wait time but had to issues getting seated once there. I got the khao soi since this place is northern thai, and my friends got the pad thai and kanom jin nham ngeaw. We also got the grabong which although listed under appetizers, I'd be happy to eat as a meal. I actually think that may have been my favorite. But what can I say, everything was great!

We decided to get dinner at PAI Northern Thai Kitchen on a Tuesday after work. We arrived around 5:15 PM and was at first told that there would be a 30-minute wait for a table. As we were adding our name to the wait list, a waitress informed the hostess that there was a cancellation, and a table was now available and somehow were immediately seated. I'm not sure how that happened, but it worked out well.On entering the restaurant, we noticed that although it was very busy and somewhat nosily, the dining area was well decorated had a good ambiance. After being seated, we were informed that we had a 90-minute time limit, which was fine as we did not plan on lingering after eating. We ordered the following:1X Northern Thai Platter1 X Khao Soi with Beef1 X Chef Nuit Pad Thai with ChickenThe Northern Thai Platter was well prepared and well presented and was a good way to sample several of the appetizers that are offered. The Pad Thai was authentic, but a bit ordinary compared to the other dishes. The Khao Soi was the standout dish and had a very silky, yet thick and satisfying broth with a good server of noodles.Overall, the service was very good (especially since we did not have to wait to be seated), the food was delicious, authentic, well presented and well prepared with fresh ingredients. I would definitely return again and order the Khao Soi.

Amazing Thai food! Wait can be a bit long during peak hours and by the time we sat down a couple menu items had already sold out for the day. But service was great and food was incredible!
Be the first to ReplyA fabulous spot for authentic Northern Thai cuisine.
Considered one of the best in the city. Be prepared to wait in line - especially on weekends.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Thai food that was worth the wait.
Khao Soi was delicious, spring rolls were tasty, and the pad Thai was delicious. Would definitely come back!Service was good and the entire vibe of the restaurant was fun with memorabilia all over.

I would consider myself a Thai food connoisseur, and Pai certainly did not disappoint ( My girlfriend who is new to Thai food will also agree). Possibly the best Panang curry I've ever had in my life. Not to mention the coconut sorbet might have been the most memorable dessert I've had in a very long time (still dreaming about it). Don't wait until last minute to get here though, they get on a wait fast and if you don't get there before 6:00pm it's likely you'll have to wait some time. All in all it was a super cool restaurant experience.
