Pasta heaven!
I loved the food here so much that I didnโt even think about taking photos when the dishes arrived!!
The tempura vegetable starter with the fried sage was a great opener. This was followed by the renowned Cacio e Pepe and several other moreish pasta plates. We were seated at a lovely big table near the chefs pass so the excitement of seeing the dishes being prepared helped whet the appetite. This is a regular place of mine now. Canโt wait for the reopening after this Covid-19 crisis.
Ava Experience with unlimited Prosecco with pasta
Came here on Saturday with Ava Experience. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Can not fault the service or the food. Bottle of Prosecco was left on the table and changed when empty without any fuss. Food was delicious, there is a special menu for Ava Experience guest. The portions were generous , authentic and coked to order.
Highly recommended.
Great value delicious early diner menu
I ate here alone from the early diner menu. It was excellent. I was made to feel welcome and settled at a table where lovely bread and complimentary water was put on the table. As I was on this menu I was offer the house spritz (which I had), Prosecco or soft drink complimentary. The house spritz was delicious! It had cherry and artichoke liquor and was a soft version of a Negroni. The restaurant is quite trendy but has a nice relaxed atmosphere, as a lone female diner it can at times feel a little awkward but I actually stayed for a glass of wine in the bar after. Some wines and cocktails are also on offer till 7
I had bruschetta with mozzarella which was excellent and very well seasoned and then chicken and pancetta meatballs which came with a polenta. Iโm not normally a fan of polenta but this was made with pistachio and was delicious
I didnโt have room for dessert (I chose wine instead) but there was a choice of tiramisu or vanilla ice cream. 2 course was ยฃ16 and 3 for ยฃ20
Really excellent restaurant, food and staff. Certainly worth a visit
Bollito Misto dinner - excellent
2nd visit.
Booked specially for the Bollito Misto dinner. It's very unusual to see this offered in The UK and we're really glad we went.
Excellent food - top draw. Better than expected!
Friendly staff.
Calm vibe.
Came here with a colleague
Came here with a colleague for a quick lunch. We ordered cacio e pepe and a couple of there daily bread starters. The pasta was super good. Really enjoyed it, perfect for a Friday lunch and I will definitely be back. Great service and a very nice chilled space.
Be the first to ReplyUnlimited pasta quantity, limited pasta choice
The unlimited pasta thing is so far from worth it. You only get a choice of 4 very meh pasta dishes. The regular menu looked ok from the other tables that were ordering. I was expecting that you could order any pasta dish from their menu which wouldโve been so much better since you get to try lots of new stuff instead of the 4 super average dishes that were available.
Staff were friendly.
Delicious food and friendly service
The best restaurant experience in London so far! Very delicious food and nice smell of different foods sailed into our noses while waiting for our food. Food made with love! Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.

My daughter and I have eaten here several times and we are on their mailing list, which is why we received and offer of 50% food. We booked a table and the restaurant was fairly busy. We decided to share a large portion of cacio e pepe to start with. It is expensive at ยฃ17 but as we were getting 50% off, we decided to order it as we have enjoyed this dish many times in Rome. The pasta was overcooked and very stodgy. We ate it as we were hungry but would not order it again.
We ordered roast guineafowl with wild mushrooms on sourdough toast and cavolo nero. We waited 30 minutes for this dish as I think ours had gone to another diner. Our waiter gave us a portion of fried potatoes on the house by way of an apology. This dish was sublime and the sort of food we had come to expect from Palatino. The ambience is a little clinical and cold, but that is partly down to the decor.
We would return but would not order the cacio e pepe again.
