Exquisite dim sum.
This is not my Cantonese/Hong Kong old-school dim sum. It sparkles and teases and impresses. We ordered the pork and green garlic dumplings and duck spring rolls as appetizers. They were stunning visually and intriguing flavor-wise. The Kim Chi w

We had a big party of 10 and had their private room, the manager was very friendly and helpful, the duck was great and drinks were good also.
Good happy hour with dim sum and libations on the menu.
Enjoyed a whiskey cocktail and a shrimp shumai and it was great. Recommend if you're in Ghirardelli square around happy hour and looking for a place to chill for a bit. Bartender was chill and easygoing.
If I could give Palette 10 stars, I would.
After my first bite of their wagyu beef potstickers (3 per order), I knew I had to come back. I wanted to call the server back to ask for future reservations, it was just that good and I'm not a huge potsticker person. Pro Tip -- more restaurant

Dining in Ghirardelli Square.
I live in SF, and adventured into the tourist zone. A Busy, modern restaurant with lots of guests. Table seating is small, and service was slow, but we didn't mind at all. The food was delicious. I'm going to recommend the Wagyu Steak.

Read that the peking duck was phenomenal so I ordered it for our group. The skin tasted like plastic and not crunchy at all. Was very disappointed in that dish. Then the wagyu steak was overly salted. Walnut shrimp tasted dry. Only dish I found good

Excellent dumplings and Chinese food! Delicious seafood options and the lamb noodle stir fry was also really good. The dumplings we got came in sets of 3. Everything was excellent and we would definitely go back.
Amazing food and service.
Authentic flavors in a relatively upscale ambience. It's right by Fisherman's Wharf which is about 15 min walk from here. Bathrooms are clean too. I bought my out of town Chinese family here and they really enjoyed the food.

I would have to say that there are better dim sum places.
It's lackluster food but the aesthetics were nice. Unfortunately the service was NOT friendly which made the experience of dining here not great.
Fabulous.
An amazing experience. We had a big, lively group and they treated us so well. Food was off the charts. Everything was perfect. Do yourself a favor a go.

Wellβ¦ wow! What a great lunch! We needed to eat outside and the hostess said that we would have slow service because they were down a server. Could fool meβ the service was certainly fast enough, and the server was very attentive. No problems on

Decent, but Gentrified Dim Sum
Palette Tea House is a decent, if not an overrated, dim sum restaurant in the premium location of Ghirardelli Square. Given the location, of course it is on the pricey side for dim sum, but not egregiously so. As someone who has lived in China, spen
Upscale dim sum and more
It's been a few years since I've been here (I'm not local) but Palette still serves fancy-ish dim sum and Cantonese food in an original, unique setting in Ghiradelli Square. It wasn't as busy as I've seen it in the past, but
Great for dim sum!
