😒 3/5 - Motion sensor lights in room are obnoxious!

My stay here was just okay, mostly because of the truly obnoxious motion sensor lights in the rooms. The rooms have a large motion sensor on the ceiling above the bed that flashes a green light (really great for when you're trying to sleep). This motion sensor can come in handy when you get up to use the bathroom at night and it turns on the foot lights for you. The motion sensor becomes obnoxious when you're sitting in your room and the sensor decides to switch off all the lights because it didn't sense enough movement. The motion sensor can become terrifying when you wake up at 3 am to the lights being on and then have concerns that someone or something as set the motion sensor off while you were sleeping! They also have a motion sensor in the gym- and it will turn off on you while you're working out- so dangerous! Your room comes with 2 Fiji water bottles that are not marked as being $5 each- but they are, so don't drink them unless you want to get charged. The soap that they give you in the room to wash your hands with is so thin and tiny- I've never had such a fragile bar of soap at a hotel before. I didn't really feel like I could get my hands clean with it. The water pressure in the shower was awful, and it took about 8 mins every night for me to get the hot water started. The thermostat in my room was impossible to control. I would think I moved the temperature in a particular direction, but it would keep changing back to random temperatures and I just gave up. And when requesting a room here- be sure to ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the dumpsters- I heard the trash get picked up around 6 am every morning and it was loud! I did enjoy the free water in the lobby area- and it is located in a very nice spot and has a good restaurant attached to it. The staff was also really nice! But the motion sensor lights need to go!
