Pasta Cucina 1301 W Sunset Rd Henderson, Nevada (Sunset Station Hotel & Casino)
The food and service were good. It is reasonably priced and has a nice setting away from the casino. I will go back when I want a good Italian meal.

We visited the pizzeria for dinner. The pizzas were very good and the service good. The price was quite reasonable. It is good to have a reservation in advance

Pretty restaurant. Have huge round tables perfect for larger families. Service was outstanding. The fresh warm bread was complimentary and very tasty. Portions were huge and pricing great!
Be the first to ReplyA meal fit for a emperor!
Pasta Cucina has the best veal parmigiana. We have been there several times for just this dish. The portions are enough for two people. Just add a nice salad and…wow, a meal fit for a emperor!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Food & Waitstaff!
Met a long-time friend and had dinner here. Wonderful food and waitstaff who didn't rush us out after we eat. While the casino was smoky, the restaurant was better.
Be the first to ReplyDid they forget about me...and others!!?
I waited to be seated at the bar at 6:24 on Sunday night...and noticed it wasn't crowed..but slightly..busy. The bartender...within a minute asked me what I wanted to drink..as I was looking at the menu...I asked for a glass of Chianti...and a water. I was still sitting there a few minutes later.. no chianti....the bartender sees me..says..oh what was the wine..again...I said..Chianti please! Then....a minute later....I was asked again!! CHIANTI!!!!! Please....then to expedite the meal I said I know what I'd like...for a starter and my main course...and he was like ok...that's great.ill get that in.... I was sitting there for almost 20 minutes...when I hear another patron ask about food before I asked where is my appetizer I was told there was a delay...in the kitchen. Well....they weren't kidding...because at 7:08 pm They brought out the appetizer and the main course within 2 minutes of each other!!!. Then....the bartender...after waiting an insane amount of time..when I would have left most places earlier...I had an early flight so...I figure it's convenient..ASKED ME IF I WANTED ANOTHER GLASS OF CHIANTI!!! Not even...an offer of a glass of wine..or anything in the way of realizing how crappie they treated me!! The calamari was prison quality...if they actually serve it in prison...and the short ribs were chewing rubber I asked for a check.....paid left....and will never return!!!

I'm from Italy and I ate here twice in my 2 night stay at the hotel above it. Food is delicious, service attentive and the atmosphere classy and cared for. Calamari is to die for!!
Be the first to ReplyGood local Italian Food
We eat here about once a year. Good Italian food, good prices and great service. Price for Scampi entree was $19, baked penne $13, bowl of minestrone $5, tiramisu $6. Although located in a casino, this restaurant is relaxed and relatively quiet.

OMG this place was amazing. The plates are big enough to share, so do order separately. The server will tell you this too. We shared the antipasto salad and it was delicious. Crisp, cold, seasoned to perfection. The Chicken Alfredo was just what I hoped for, creamy and filling.

If you love Itallian food then you absolutely should visit Pasta Cucina @ Sunset Station. They have fantastic deals and delicious food and the atmosphere is very inviting. And the staff gives excellent service. Go there twice and they treat you like family. I Love this place. My favorite is their cannoli.
Be the first to ReplyPOOR SERVICE plus ok food
We ate dinner at pasta cocina on New Years Eve. We each ordered a glass of wine but only one of us was served. After an additional request, the waiter finally brought my glass of wine. Bread and butter were served with antipasto salad. When a request for more butter was made, it was only after two more requests and wait time while the waiter chatted up two tables of patrons who frequent the restaurant that overkill of bread and butter were served. The antipasto salad turned out to be a lot of purple cabbage plus lettuce with a FEW pieces of meat, cheese and tomato tossed with dressing which tasted like regular mayo. Actually, the salmon on angel hair pasta was pretty good. Next time I’ll opt for meatballs, though. No wonder that the restaurant was only half full on New Year’s Eve!
Be the first to ReplyGood and Bad!
We visited this restaurant because of the two three course meal deal for $39. The staff and atmosphere were really good. This despite being surrounded by a sea of slot machines. The bad is the food was very marginal. My wife’s salad had greens that were turning brown. My meatballs were basically huge ,but lacking any flavor. To over compensate for the bland meatballs the dinner was served with this gelatinous mound of pasta. Overall dissapointing.

We went for dinner. They had a dinner for 2 special going on. We tried that. I had the chicken fettuccini Alfredo, it was average at best. My wife had the eggplant Parmesan, she only ate about 1/4 of it. She was not impressed. I do not like eggplant, so I didn’t try it. The appetizer of fried ravioli wasn’t bad but wasn’t really good either. The salads (Caesar) was probably the best part of the meal. I’m not an Italian meal snob, I just know that I shouldn’t have to salt fettuccini to get flavor out of it. The gelato was good. I’m really glad that the price was reasonable because if it had been any higher there would be 2 stars. It’s almost like the restaurant is serving “$3.99 all you can eat” pasta, but it’s $19.99 a serving. The service was slow but good. Near the end of our meal, a waiter came and took the two extra place settings from our table and put them directly on another table. I don’t think that was quite proper being they had been on our table through the whole meal. It’s a good thing we didn’t get anything on the place settings. I know that the restaurant owner probably figures that most people that eat there won’t ever be back and in our case they are right.
