Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille Frisco Reviews from The Last Year
If you want to be treated poorly, then go to Perry's in
If you want to be treated poorly, then go to Perry's in Frisco! A table of eight young women ordered appetizers, crab cakes to be exact. The waitress verbally counted out eight crab cakes. She went to the computer and placed our order, then returned to the table and took the main course order. One hour passed and still no crab cakes. When the waitress decided to check on us, we asked how much longer it would be until the crab cakes came out. Her response was, "I thought you wanted it as an entrée." How did you think that? Okay, fine. Then are the crab cakes as an entrée ready? She left the table only to return with two crab cake starters! We asked, "Where are the rest of the crab cakes?" She replied, "Oh, I thought only two people wanted them. Do you still want crab cakes?" "No, please just bring out the main course meals." She then rolled her eyes and looked very angry. As the manager was walking past, we asked how there was a misunderstanding about our order. She responded with, "It doesn't take long for the crab cakes. I can get them for you." Again, no thanks. We just wanted to inform you. The food comes out and the manager comes back to the table to remind us that gratuity is already included in our bill to keep down any confusion. We will never go back to the Frisco location. The food wasn't great and the service was horrible! If I'm going to pay $800 for a meal, I most definitely want to be treated kindly!
The food was delicious.
Service was excellent and even after it was a full house of people, the service never was slow. Definitely a place we would enjoy again.
It was fine.
Best way I can describe it. I just felt like everything I had was ok/fine. When I'm spending good money at a restaurant I want memorable. Nothing was at all. Just felt like a meal. Would I go back? Not unless someone else was paying. And frankly this just wasn't. Del Frisco's or Bob's still reigns supreme in northern Dallas.
The service was great, the food was amazing and the overall
The service was great, the food was amazing and the overall feeling was welcoming and relaxing beautiful place to take my beautiful wife on her birthday dinner!
Unbelievably SHOCKED AT HOW AWFUL STALE & MASSIVELY
Unbelievably SHOCKED AT HOW AWFUL STALE & MASSIVELY OVERCOOKED THE SALMON IS HERE! I can smell the fishiness & Could taste fishiness! That's a sign of SALMON THAT IS NOT FRESH! I ONLY ordered from here because upscale steakhouses like Perry's are supposed to serve high quality fish & Steak & cook it to perfection. Instead of receiving a tasty fresh perfectly cooked to medium salmon, I was given an old salmon that was cooked TO DEATH! So based off that alone, by sight I knew it was dry & disgusting, Had to talk to DoorDash to finally get a refund, which took over an hour cayse the app only wanted to give me back 5 bucks for a meal that I can't even eat! Yah right! Like that's gonna slide! Now all the good restaurants are closed cause it's 11 pm. I've dined in 9 yrs ago & was very happy with my food & atmosphere, service. It was 5 star back then. But, apparently pretty much every single restaurant in north dallas area, Plano, the Colony, SUCK! There's just ZERO CONSISTENCY! And it's only gotten worse this past year. Upscale restaurant like Perry's who charge elevated prices because they are supposed to only serve HIGH QUALITY meats & fish, cooked to perfection by accomplished chefs. Used to be the case here years ago. But this is a far far cry from my experience 9 yrs ago. There's just NO EXCUSE for allowing stale NOT FRESH SALMON THAT TASTES FISHY & VERY LOW QUALITY. Appears to be low quality. And then to massively overcook it to boot.... THERE IS JUST NO EXCUSE FOR THAT! I ordered from this restaurant and paid extra even tho I'm ordering delivery JUST SO THAT I WOULDNT HAVE A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WHERE THE FOOD IS INEDIBLE, NOT FRESH, OR WAY OVERCOOKED... but turns out Perry's is no longer any good. The quality & portion size & ability to cook Fish & likely steak as well is NOTHING BUT A TOTAL FAIL! Plse Get your kitchen together & upgrade the quality again to upscale high quality & hire new high quality chefs cause THIS MEAL WAS TRAGIC.. and a more expensive TRAGIC which is absurd. At this price point, food has to be fresh, high quality & cooked to perfection. NOT THE OPPOSITE NEVER THE OPPOSITE. Shocked & disappointed at how far Perry's has fallen to what I would amount to as total disarray & disconnect. The owner & manager can't be putting out food this bad at this price point & considering the fact that the reputation has been stellar, at least many years ago it was. Sad state if affairs. Most places in this area suck half the time. No consistency. It's sad really. Maybe getting some Michelin status in Texas finally would make a major differnce in attracting high quality kitchen talent? Something that is clearly lacking in north dallas area. Dallas has the worst restaurants of any big city I've ever lived in. Bar none. One day incredibly good, next day, inedible. Happens far too much here. I've literally never seen such inconsistency in restaurants ever before. It's next level annoying & unpredictable. So why take the chance that it might be inedible food or mayve might be great? Not worth the trouble. Really disappointed in Perry's. I thought the quality & ability to cook to temp would be a for sure thing. Like an absolute. In the past it would have been.. not now! Oh btw I almost forgot to mention.. the kitchen staff must be on Drugs cause how do you make the mistake of putting THICK mashed potatoes in a ramekin to include with the massively overcooked salmon? Is the kitchen staff all on drugs cause the manager allows that or doesn't pay attention? I'm sure it was supposed to be sauce for the salmon. Not mashed potatoes! Impossible to make that mistake unless you are high on drugs & disorientated. Just one bite tasted so nasty tho that there's no way any type of sauce would have hid the massive fails of this old well done plain fishy tasting tiny salmon. Just gross.. but the owner was likely not there. He probably should fire some peeps so that he doesn't entirely ruin his reputation on this type of tragic food & pathetic unacceptable unreasonable mistakes. This place needs a total 360 to return it to its days of high quality & perfectly cooked fresh tasty food. It's the opposite experience tonight. Won't be ordering from here or dining in for a long time. Kitchen staff needs an upgrade that's for sure. And I don't know if the quality of the salmon is super low because he's downgraded the quality of the salmon to save money or if it was just stored really horribly and not thrown away when it should have been thrown away & the kitchen staff just ruined it so it tastes & looks low quality. Either way, it's absolutely unacceptable & shouldn't have happened at all. I was so excited about this meal until I opened it up and saw the pathetic well done well done salmon sitting next to a ramekin of mashed potatoes. Like what is this? I wish I'd seen my previous review. I forgot I had such a bad experience previously. I wish I had never ordered from here again! It's a JOKE for what you're paying!
In my dining experience this place was wonderful.
Good service, decorations and more. However there were many cons in my experience. My napkin was ripped, my fork was dirty, and the water tastes like it's not filtered. They have a variety of drinks to choose from. The place is a decent dining environment however the food isn't as pleasant as the place in my opinion. It took around 30 minutes to recive our food but we had a big party with us. The food was decent but I thought it would be better for a fancy diner. Overall I would say this place is overrated as well as overpriced for the food you recive
We went early for the 65+ menu.
You're supposed to finish in 90 minutes. That was impossible because the service was so slow. The appetizers arrived cold. The lobster bisque also arrived cold. The salmon was overcooked and tough. The (pre-made) desserts took 20+ minutes to arrive. The waiter didn't care (probably since we were doing the less expensive menu). With all the good restaurants in the area, I see no reason to return to Perry's.
Wonderful Food Wonderful Service
We took my sister-in-law out for an early evening birthday dinner on a weeknight, and made the reservation online. When I reserved, I wrote that it was for a birthday. When we arrived, everyone, including hostess stand. the manager and waiter asked whose birthday it was. Before our entrees, there was even a birthday card for her at the table, signed by the manager, waiter and hostess. This was in addition to bringing her a free birthday dessert. We love the food and the variety of entrees here, but this was extra customer service and helped make her feel special. I've always enjoyed the service here - even when I brought 3 couples to enjoy their senior menu, an early bird reduced price menu. The service was no different than always, which I appreciated. Their 7 finger pork chop (enormous and tender) is enough for at least 2 meals, and their filet mignon is wonderful
PERRY just might be my new second husband because they are
PERRY just might be my new second husband because they are CONSISTENT! Repeatedly receive the 5 star treatment via product and service. Known for its class, it's the perfect swanky place to impress biz associates, dates, or your own fab self (my choice). It goes on my great places to work remote list. Tons of outlets surrounding the bar and throughout the venue. Even in the restrooms! Which by the way pass my Granny's clean test! Dim and grown lighting + ambiance. Definitely a place to go when ditching the kids. Only exception I could see is special occasions as a family or group. Ex: Holiday menus and reservations (yes please!!) The menu is rather mature. Main dish + ala carte- my favorite way to order. #custom .Side servings are big enough for two. Enjoyed by individuals in Texas...I'm just saying... I could go on about the pleasantness of Perry's but I'll just end with a few highlights: - happy hour - limited time only specials, like $19 'Steak Burger and Bordeaux' spare you from 'the usual' - a 'hidden menu' with select features like turtle gumbo and white chocolate cheese cake at the moment - and crafty cocktails. The Smokey Margarita is just that. And the Hog Hattan is a fun twist on Manhattan w/a skewer of their famous pork chops Who in their wonderfully creative mind thought of this?!! Note Also: Veggie friendly and FRESH seafood options. Highly recommend and easily a fan for life. Only con- Pricey to some, but worth every penny. Treat yourself!!!
The ambiance is very relaxing.
This steak has to be top three steaks I've ever had. They do let you check it was cooked at the right temp. I went for my birthday and they do give you a card which was really sweet. I would recommend 10/10 I'd go in a week day though it may be more of a relaxing experience vs going on the weekend.
Well, the pork chop is delicious and the first time I went
Well, the pork chop is delicious and the first time I went here. The waiter was amazing. The birthday treat was absolutely amazing but the second time I came here I just left happy hour first of all the deals are not that great second of all, I informed the waitress as soon as I sat down that I wanted the Porkchop as I had gotten there right a few minutes before five due to traffic. There was a huge accident on 75 and she said she would ask your manager. Granted, I understand that. It's not up to her but the fact that the manager didn't understand and didn't want to extend the Porkchop special to me really didn't sit well with me because had it not been for that I would've still spent my money here and bought some thing else but it just didn't sit right with me that they didn't even try to accommodate me and I was here with my son like it's already hard enough getting out the door and then there's an accident and it wasn't even my fault and I got here right at five. Also, the door people or valet, saw me struggling to open the door with my stroller and literally let me do it on my own had to have been some older white people im sure it would've been different. I don't think I'll be coming back to this particular Perry's.
Highly Disappointed !
We have visited this location many times the past 5 years and have taken out-of-town guests for a dining treat. This visit was early dinner Valentine celebration that did not impress. The greeting at the door was bright and cordial and as one expects here. However, things went down hill quickly. Although we had a reservation and were on time, we were one of the first few couples seated and were told to wait while they readied our table yet we saw no such activity in the dining room which we could view and were seated at a table in our view. Although the restaurant was mostly empty, we were seated deep inside and close to the entry/exit to the kitchen area and we had constant staff traffic at/around our table. The server was cordial but mostly curt and the smile seemed to be very forced. The soup was overcooked and even tasted re-heated. One of our knives was so dirty it could not even be scraped clean. The creme brûlée was grossly burned and should have never made it to the table. Upon telling the server, we were told "oh, should I bring you another?" The main courses and sides were very good but not up to past experiences. This may sound trite but is not the environment we have previously encountered at a normally great and upscale eating establishment. The Frisco location could certainly benefit from training at the Park District establishment which has always been rated 10+ by our family.

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
