I love the ambiance, I loved the burrata, and the people working there... But, wow my pasta dish was a total disappointment. I have Cacio e Pepe all across NYC, and never had I had one that just tasted like eating butter made out of a salt stick. I pretty much gagged and looking back I should have returned my order. What is this good for: - Gathering with close friends and loved ones - Hoping for amazing Italian food - Great wine selection - Break ups... so loud, you won't cause a commotion. What is this not great for: - Wanting to have a conversation where you can hear each other - Space to stretch - Expectations of consistent food
Be the first to ReplyWe had the most delicious meal with cousins from Italy.
Everything we had was cooked to perfection. Parmigiana, Wild Boar meatballs, the Piccola Cucina salad, Rigatoni with pesto, Tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, ravioli and all of the desserts. The service was impeccable. The wine list is very extensive. We had 2 great bottles of Etna Rossa. I can't wait to go back!!

Favorite restaurant in New York, but didn't like the reggaeton music (I'm Puerto Rican and kind of tired to listening to that kind of music everywhere) Food and wine were amazing! Servers and hosts were very nice.
Be the first to ReplyIt's an authentic Italian restaurant.
I really enjoyed tasty meal and dancing! The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made us feel very comfortable. Thank you so much.

This place was amazing! If you want good pasta, this is the place to go (unfortunately, i got too excited with the pasta and didn't get a chance to take a picture). My friend and I went for dinner on a Friday night so it did get pretty packed, but luckily we made reservation ahead of time so we were able to get seated. I will say it was a bit cramped inside, but couldn't be helped since it was a busy day. Overall, we loved everything we had and would definitely come back again to try some of their other pasta dishes.

My friends and I had dinner here on a Saturday and we had a great time! I think this is a cute spot for a small group of friends or a date. I'd definitely come back and try out their other spots! Even though we arrived on time and it was early in the evening, we had to wait a bit because they were quite busy. So glad we made reservations! The space was small and tight, but the ambience was really cute and gave it a cozy feel. Our server was friendly and very helpful with recommendations. The staff overall was very attentive, always checked in, and made sure our water cups were never empty, haha. We tried out a bunch of dishes: * duetto di bruschetta (chef's kiss it was so good 10/10 appetizer) * arancino catanese (we weren't a big fan of the sauce) * patate al limone (simple but good) * bucatini cacio e pepe (very salty) * fusilloni di gragnano scampi, burrata, pomodorini e rucola (yummy!) * cavatelli al ragu di salsiccia bianco, finocchietto e fiocchi di ricotta fresca (yummy!) * green tea creme brulee (it was a dessert special and it was so delicious!)

This restaurant is a great experience overall! Food is great, bread and oil is delicious, and the service is amazing. We got an appetizer and two entrees and it was more than enough food and was delicious. They have a wide selection of wines and a partially rotating menu throughout the year. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant is very tightly packed and the service is very fast, almost too fast. The ambiance is great with proper lighting and a great aesthetic.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food.
Small but very organized restaurant with home feel. Very happy we found this place.
Be the first to ReplyI gave 2 star only for the server food was disappointing
I gave 2 star only for the server food was disappointing for me .My husband was hungry thats why he ate but I cant Just I can recommend amber wine if you like skin contact wine.I dont have any pictures but we ordered arangini I can say it was good but not phenominal. My expectation is so high and I was disappointed.cacio pepe also was disapointed .duetto di bruschetta taste is avarage.I dont want to talk about but dont waste a time and money for taste if you want good service you can come only. They are so lucky because of their server thats it !!!ฤฐf I need to talk about ambiance is warm. And tiramisu service not same the other place and ypu can eat any other italian restaurant nothing is special here except service .I am so dissappointed about this resturant
Be the first to ReplyThe food is really good.
I got the linguine lobster which is not on the menu for $35, but that's a lot of lobster meat surprisingly. The portion is pretty good which is filling. The service is not that great though. As they are always too busy they might not be able to spot your needs or assist you. The space between tables are so little that you are basically sticking with the other table. But to be fair, the food is really good.

Most noticeable is how cramped this restaurant is -- you're really sitting on top of everyone else and there's very little spare room. We were seated at the four top that's right by the window and it was super, duper tight. Also, the little lamp that we had our table kept shorting out, and I was little annoyed that they didn't split out the plating fee from the main bill -- because I specifically asked the hostess and wanted to either pre-pay it myself or take care of it at the end of the dinner -- to have that separate from the main bill. All that aside, I thought the food was just alright. The arancini was ok, the bruschetta was not what we had thought -- one was an avocado toast with lobster, and another with buffalo mozz, mushrooms and truffle -- good, but not the typical tomato on top of toast that you normally expect. My main, the tagliatelle, was spectacular. I'd give that a five-star rating, all on its own. But the cacio e pepe was salty, and the other two dishes my friends ordered were just alright.....and because I brought a cake, we didn't try their tiramisu. I also skipped out on using the restroom because the thought of navigating the tight tables to get there was too daunting. Also, wine only. No hard liquor / cocktails.

It's fairly small insides with closeish tables but can I say...this pasta was the thing of my dreams. I am salivating just thinking about it now. This is seriously one of the best pastas I've had-would highly recommend. It is fairly pricey and the portion may look small but I was fairly full with about 25% still left uneaten. One of the downsides I would say is that they only serve wine and no cocktails. A very cute place with great food. Would highly recommend for Italian if closeby.
Be the first to ReplyThe service and ambiance of this place are great .
Demba my server was great and caring with what I needed to have a great experience . Very nice and food is good . They have gluten free bread that tastes good and lots of GF pasta too ! Thanks !
Be the first to ReplyFood was just okay.
I had the burrata to start, tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, and split the crรจme brรปlรฉe for dessert. Maybe I picked the wrong items but nothing was that good. The ragu was over salted and lacked depth. I barely got through a quarter of it. The crรจme brรปlรฉe was too eggy. Service was terrific though.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious and fresh seafood at a bustling restaurant.
This place is clearly a neighborhood hotspot and it's no wonder. Great ambiance, friendly staff; great place to bring your friends and family to.

Great Italian fare, pasta all great, cacao de pepe is terrific, arancini appetizer is flavorful, the real star is the chicken cutlet Milanese, crispy and well seasoned with salt alone, fingerling potatoes, arugula and tomato. There are 3 pieces of chicken, the plate needs to be bigger to contain all the goodness, so that the arugula salad has room.
Be the first to ReplyThe wait staff tried to make us leave every 5 minutes.
We started the evening with the hostess instilling the policy four times that we only had 90 minutes to eat. Then every waiter would return whenever we had food on our plates, asking to take them. My girlfriend had a half filled coke, and the waiter tried to take it away from her. We had to call over waitstaff to refill our waters. This would be semi-acceptable if the food was any good. Spoiler alert: it was not. The main courses were bland and non-interesting. Our table had a range of pasta, salad, and eggplant parmigiana. Even our rice balls were mediocre. How do you mess up rice balls? Then to finish the evening, they would not give us our check when we finally were ready to leave. That took an extra twenty minutes, almost as a punishment for showing up. Go anywhere else for Italian, and you will be much happier.

Their handmade tiramisu is a crowd pleaser for a reason! The lady finger were chilled, I guess they dipped in ice coffee and not soggy at all!! I believe only uptown location make it infront of u, this location doesn't. Even though you didn't witness the making process, u know it's fresh! Arancino catanese (Sicilian rice ball) taste similar to the one I had at San Genario festival. Loved the chewy texture from Spaghetti Nero do Seppia (squid ink) but prefer the sauce from Linguine lobster.
Be the first to ReplyThis is by far the best Italian restaurant we have been to
This is by far the best Italian restaurant we have been to in NYC (or even outside of Italy for that matter). The selection of menu items is small, but it doesn't matter because everything we had was amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We will definitely return when we are in NYC. Get a reservation!

Went in to get the lunch special pasta but the menu is deliberately confusing as far as what is a lunch special and what is a "signature dish" - it's very easy to miss the tiny asterisk that tells you what is a lunch special, not so much the big stamp for their recommended dishes. Ordered the ravioli as a lunch special to have the waiter say "fgreat" when he took the order, only to charge it as a full price dish and tell me that it's not a lunch special when the bill came. So congratulations, you beat me for $10, but I'm never coming back. The food was mediocre anyway, sauce was too watery and salty. Used to come here pre-pandemic and the quality was much better.
