Husband and I shared pappardelle pasta and tricolore salad.
Both were excellent! The pappardelle's bolognese sauce was exceptional and the meat in it was well cooked, soft. Every bit of the salad was fresh and the dressing was perfect.

I prefer the Brentwood location on San Vicente for atmosphere and parking even (although both places can be horrible to find parking). This WeHo one was a bit dark and loud for my romantic dinner with my wife. The seating is mostly along the side of the main bldg, but covered with an awning. Our waitress was an efficient and attentive young Filipina American who was stellar. She was excited to be there and made us feel welcome and cared for. As our only real connection to the staff, she was a great ambassador for the restaurant. The food was delicious. We ordered two pizzas and devoured them both. We've had most of the 8 pizzas they offer, so I can say they are all very good. As good as you'll find in LA. We got a side of broccolini and another side of something, but were underwhelmed by both. And they were not good value. I guess I would say that this location was lacking for us in many ways...starting with finding parking. (And don't use Yelp! to get directions as it sent us to the wrong place...as well as another woman who walked from where her taxi dropped her the 15 minute walk to the actual location. We saw her at the intended spot on a date. Poor thing.) Although we'd eaten at the Brentwood location several times and loved it...we had only gotten the pizzas there. Comparing it to this experience, we felt this one was poor value for money. We'll stick to only pizzas and only Brentwood in the future.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely delicious meal here for a group get-together.
Service was very friendly and helpful in figuring out how many pizzas & apps we should probably order for the table. For starters, I would highly recommend the cavolofiori (crispy panko cauliflower). It was soo good. If you are going to go for a salad, definitely get the Cesar. All of the pizzas were excellent. We tried the bianca, cacio e pepe, carnivoro, diavola funghi and margherita. All tasty, but my favorite by far was the Bianca which had onions and fennel sausage. I will say that some of the cocktails were a bit tiny, especially considering the price. But overall we had a great experience.

I ordered from Pizzana on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood a signature pizza called the Pignatiello that was only offered this Friday through Sunday. Chef Danielo usually has a special pizza every few months but this one was only available for 3 days. This Gluten Free pizza is so good it shouldn't be legal. It consists of their signature slow cooked, melt in your mouth braised short ribs; silky, smooth Fior Di Latte, parmigiano Crema and basil, to balance the richness. A work of food art.
Be the first to ReplyFor a place with a bunch of locations, I was expecting some
For a place with a bunch of locations, I was expecting some good Italian style pizza, but it was just okay. The highly recommended cacio e Pepe pizza was underwhelming, with the cold cream on top of a sauceless cheese pizza. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good but nothing particularly special. There seems to be a tiny indoor seating area, otherwise you are stuck in a narrow hallway in a covered outdoor area.

I saw the hype on social media & I needed to give this place a try! Not pictured was the Diavola pizza which definitely would've been way better without the shallot- it was too overpowering and didn't mix well with the flavors. The cacio e pepe was alright- the highlight was on top of the pizza. The broccolini I wish was a bit crunchier - some parts felt watery. The drinks were okay- seemed less than other places. The service was amazing which is what I'm mostly giving stars for, great staff. The place itself was small and cornered, nothing that extravagant. All in all- I wouldn't come back but I'm glad I tried it so see the hype!

I really enjoyed my visit here the staff were very welcoming ..our server was always smiling and very attentive. Cozy place with heated lamps to keep you warm on a chilly evening &candle lit tables. Great selection of wine . I love the orange wine. Ordered couple of the pizzas and side order of meatballs. Everything was fresh and hot ..Bianca The fennel and sausage and Diavola spicy pepperoni with drizzle of honey and side salad. Everything was delicious.

Be the first to ReplyI just stopped in to try their pizza after reading about it
I just stopped in to try their pizza after reading about it and not only were they incredibly nice but the sandwich and pizza I tried were excellent - especially the simple margarita rich in perfect-homemade-sauce on top of slightly charred amazing dough. It was a fantastic, traditional Neapolitan, thin crust pizza. The manager was also extremely friendly and generous with extras. I was very impressed and will be going back whenever possible.

The pizza was awful the cheese would slide off the dough and the pizza sauce was very watered down Service is great though and fun atmosphere not worth the money the is also very important

The rating above is for Pizzana as a restaurant and mainly their pizza. We did go for their pasta night, but since that only happens once in a blue moon, I don't think it's fair to rate the entire restaurant on that.Service: very good! Our server was just the right amount of attentive and helpful. Very nice and I really enjoyed the vibe there.Ambiance: one of those unique places.. it's actually outdoors but they have walls and like a "roof" over the top so you're "inside", but weather wise you will feel whatever it feels like outside. I liked it and felt comfortable there!Food: we went for pasta night and it was underwhelming. We got the bolognese and vodka pasta. Both were (in my opinion) too one note and overly seasoned. I wish we got to try the other pastas too so I can't give a rating on that. Pasta gets a 3/5. We also got the focaccia and same thing.. very one note and just kinda plain 2/5 for the focaccia.Pizza: very good!!! Their diavalo pizza is something I would return for. It's sweet and salty and just everything good in the world. The crust is more doughy, which I like but some folks didn't. I'd give a 4/5 for the pizza!Overall, I'd come back if I was in the area and just for the diavola!
Be the first to ReplyVery small restaurant with uncomfortable seating.
Pizzas made fresh. Would rather try another pizza spot than come here again.

Popped in for lunch after seeing some good reviews and we agree... this place has some top notch pizza (AND artichoke appetizer)! Our server was on top of everything and had some good recommendations!
Be the first to ReplyGot delivery through DoorDash.
Ordered the SPINACI (spinach, basil pesto) and the MARGARITA pizza. Both pizzas were really good. I'm usually a big margarita pizza person which was done well here but in this case the SPINACI was favored slightly. Looking forward to visiting in person or ordering delivery again.

DELICIOUS pizzas!! The crust is a perfection and the tomato sauce on the pepperoni pizza was sooo good! The staff is super lovely and friendly and they make you feel comfortable and excited right away The exterior has a bold blue color which makes it stand out and easy to find and the interior is cozy and casual! Defiantly a well designed pizza spot for a great quality food! Will be back there soon!
Be the first to ReplyPizzana continues to be one of my favorite pizza places in
Pizzana continues to be one of my favorite pizza places in all of LA. What I love most about Pizzana compared to some other places is how well rounded the menu is. From the killer appetizers like the broccolini, artichokes and eggplant to the pizza, wine and dessert. Of course we ordered two of our favorite pizzas, the funghi and the cacio e Pepe. So perfectly made and each bite you want to go back for. The funghi is bursting with garlic while the cacio e Pepe is extra creamy. This is the perfect place for a casual meet-up with friends or an possibly a date, but the music can be a little on the loud side making it hard to hear the person you're sitting across. It's a small and intimate space, however I do prefer the ambiance of the Brentwood location more. Either way, you can't go wrong.I've never had an issue with parking either. Plenty of metered spots and it's such a breeze.Food - 4/5Ambiance - 3.5/5Service - 3.5/5

Be the first to ReplyOverall great dinner.
Service was not the best and food took a while. The pizzas were wonderful!! The best part was the panna cotta dessert. No valet, street parking only.
Be the first to ReplyPizzana was a big letdown for me the other night.
I ordered their Margarita Pizza and an expensive (at $17) Caesar salad. The pizza was just okay - not great - and the salad was sad looking due to wilted brown bits. For that price, it should have been outstanding. Overall, very disappointing considering how much I wanted to like this place.
Be the first to ReplyIt's perfect pizza.
Service was great, ambiance is... sort of a hallway outdoors with heaters for the winter. But really, they could make me stand in an alley to eat and I'd still give it 5 stars because it's perfect pizza.
Be the first to ReplyThe pizzas were delicious and so creative.
The ingredients were so fresh tasting. Texture was fluffy and crispy. They might consider to go boxes with steam holes though because the fried artichoke and the crusts got a bit soggy. Only four stars because my sister made a reservation and they lost it somehow.
Be the first to ReplyWow this is some good pizza.
Amazing crust. Cacio de Pepe is divine. Mushroom pizza soooo savory and delicious. Margherita was top notch. Pricey but worth it.
Be the first to ReplyI am a die hard Pizzana fan.
The Brentwood location has been a staple for me for many years. West Hollywood is a lot smaller- the only tables available are all in a row down a long hallway. Tables are close together so there so it's easy to accidentally eavesdrop on the conversation next to you. Though the space is tight they have stands to hold multiple pizzas so you can order a lot. Cacio e Pepe- Jonathan Gold called this "a small miracle" and while I typically agree the pizza was WAY overdone with pepper compared to brentwood. The pepper overpowered the other flavors which is disappointing as the creme fraiche there is to die for.Pignatiello- incredibly rich flavors and definitely the heaviest pizza they have there. The short rib is so tender and delicious.Neo Margherita- a take on classic pizza but richer flavor. The tomato sauce has been reduced to a really savory pulp and the basil is powdered all ovr the pizza so you get a taste in every bite, and though its a powder it still taste like fresh basil. Two pizzas are enough for 2 people to split, but why not get a third and take the extras home!?

I made reservations via Resy - always a streamlined experience! We arrived a few minutes early and were kindly seated at our table. The seating area is reminiscent of an indoor/outdoor vibe. Although the roof part is covered it felt like we were outdoors. Multiple fans were blowing but it felt a little humid. They have daily specials, which include wine, salads, and pizza. We ordered items from their classic menu and were blown away by it all!We started with the shaved Brussels sprouts salad, which is a great palate cleanser between other dishes. The pistachios that dressed the salad were delicious. We also indulged in the meatballs. That marinara sauce is everything! I loved dipping the side of bread into the mini cast iron skillet to scoop up pieces of meat and tomato! Do not skip. When it came to pizza, we ordered the Neo-Margherita. This is the chef's own rendition of a classic Margherita (which they also gladly serve on their menu). It was a home run in my book. From the crust to the crumble, to the delicious cheese, this pizza HAD IT ALL!Peeking at their dessert menu, it was hard not to overindulge, but we managed! They have a really lovely wine list as well.Plenty of metered parking on the street, but depending on when you get there it could be a bit difficult to find a spot. I did not see a valet service outside.
