A must!
We never thought we’d get in, but rolled the dice and arrived between lunch and dinner, and managed to be seated after only a 20 minute wait. Though just two of us, we tried two pizzas - margherita and sausage. The cheese was to die for, and the sauce was tasty. The crust on the sausage pie was slightly underbaked / soft, likely due to the lunchtime crush, but also possibly because the toppings were so plentiful that the poor little crust couldn’t hold up under the weight. Our waiter recommended 2 deserts as his personal favs, and we opted for the pistachio gelato which was simply out of this world. Lastly, we were seated at a beautiful table near a fireplace. It was really a delightful dinner, and a memorable experience to have dined at the famed PB!

Title describes our experience. We were on vacation and this place was recommended. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It was bad from the host who set us up on the wait list to when we left. So, it all started when we gave our name to the host (30 min wait). We eventually received the text that our table was ready (it was the young lady who didn't have colored hair - zero personality and showed off attitude like she didn't want to be there). She never mentioned when getting our name that the whole party had to be present. I came there and had to wait and was afraid to lose our table. Luckily, my family came and we were sat down. The waitress came by and she was friendly and took our order. We thought this might turn things around. Our order came and the food was unappealing compared what the reviews had said about this place. But the food wasn't even the problem. The waitress who was helping us disappeared. We had some random guy starting to assist us. We thought the waitress left and instead without even talking to us, started helping other people, cleaning tables, etc. It was like she forgot our table. At the end, we had no one to clean our table and give us a check. We had to get it from I'm guessing one of the managers/owners and he was kind enough to get it for us. We paid and left. Would not recommend this place to anyone.....even Dominos tops this place.
Be the first to ReplyWait is too long.
Worst place ever, host was awful. Told us 2 hour wait when we arrived and that if we drank at their bar next door they would prioritize us. 1.5 hours later and $150 bar tab and still told us 11 more tables in front of us. Waste of time. Not worth the wait and host rude.

This is one of the best pizza places in the US!!! The pizza is amazing. Be prepared to wait, there is always a line. The good news is they have a little bar in the house next store.

Glad we had the opportunity to go here because of gift certificate! A busy place. Glad we could eat outside. I enjoy the meatball sandwich. My friend was Glad there was an option for pizza without cheese. In a strip mall with lots of stores

Came from South Dakota for other reasons and couldn’t wait to go to Pizzeria Bianco after seeing on Netflix. It was awesome! Friendly, fast and delicious. I was even surprised at the final bill because we ordered a lot.
Be the first to ReplyDon't go.
Hideously overrated. This is the first time I ever emphasized "zero" on the tip line in all caps. You can't rate non-existent service. The pizzas we ordered were doughy, flavorless and the "toppings' covered about 2/3 of the pizza.... maybe. Perhaps the chef has a reputation but on the day we went the service/food and wait time were unequivocally not worth it. Never again. Don't go.

I don't get it. Soggy in the middle, burnt on the top. I'm Italian, from Boston, not a brick oven pizza guy. It just wasn't good. $24 for a plate size Margerita Pizza. And we waited 50 minutes from the time we ordered to when it came out. No, it wasn't crowded. Not for me.
Be the first to ReplyBest Thin Crust Pizza in Town
A friend told us that this restaurant was featured on Netflix as the best pizza in town so we thought we would give it a try. We arrived at 4:00 to beat the dinner crowd. The place has a rustic old town eatery feel to it. Great for families or first dates. We ordered the pizza with the pistachios and it was delicious. The food was yummy but the service could have been better. The waitress messed up her order and we hit right at the time when the kitchen decided to clean the oven. Both of these unfortunate circumstances. The waitress did give us a salad for free to make up for the error. The thin crust pizza made up for long wait.

Eating at Pizzeria Bianca was on our must do list for this visit to Scottsdale. We have seen the restaurant, and it’s well-known chef, featured on the Food Network and, most recently, on CNN. The site is easy to access and has ample parking. We ate outside-plenty of shade by umbrellas and it was comfortable despite the temperature. We each had a 12-inch pizza and brought home left overs. The Rosa, Chef Bianca’s creation, is a lovely white pizza topped with red onions and pistachios. Tasty and tangy with a delicious crust. Service was good and the staff were friendly.
Be the first to ReplyToo much attitude and hype at Pizzeria Bianco
Pizzeria Bianco is over-priced and over-hyped. They dont have to worry' we'll never be back. The service is inefficient and ineffectual. It seems as if they like having a crowd of people milling around out front...yet there are quite a few empty tables. It's obvious that no one with an ownership stake is on premises otherwise they would run a much sharper operation. We were willing to pay $24 for a mediocre pizza...but when they give us attitude along with it...no thanks. Too bad. Crossing Pizzeria Bianco off our list.

First visit. Went for lunch. Had the Margherita and the Rosa. Both were excellent. Friendly staff too, greeted us at the door.

Wow! I had the Sonny Boy "pepperoni pizza" and good gawd. It took me straight back to Tuscany when we were there for a few years! My wife had the margherita (cheese) pizza. My son had the bread and olive oil and their amazing market salad. We loved it all. Look at my reviews, I rarely give this rating! Will come back!

Went there and it was an hour and a half wait. Only half of the restaurant was open. There were seats at the bar that they weren’t sitting anybody and they wouldn’t let you do a takeout order as well. To me, it’s lazy employees because they had the capacity and they had the seating, but chose not to. I’ll give my business to replace that deserves it.

We tried to get in to the original Pizzeria Bianco when it was first featured on Oprah years ago without success. On our last trip to Phoenix, we landed mid-morning and discovered this location was only about 15 minutes from the airport. We decided to go there for lunch on our way to the hotel. We also recently watched the Netflix episode that featured this restaurant. All we'd heard said this pizza was "life changing." We missed the last available table and were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. We were fine with that amount of time. Almost an hour later, we were still waiting, and the only reason we got a table was because we went up and complained. Not sure what the guy at the hostess stand did with our entry. Service was ok. We ordered the mozzarella appetizer and two pizzas. Mozzarella was delicious with the bread and tomatoes. Pizzas were good, but nothing outstanding. We agreed that we would like to mix and match some of the toppings because the meat options were extremely salty, so much so that we picked a lot of the toppings off. Very noisy in the restaurant because all hard services. Overall, okay pizza, but we wouldn't rush back. Nothing "life-changing" as some people seem to think.
Be the first to ReplyWas recommended by a local TV station as a great pizza place. They lied. It was terrible.
Went here with a friend for lunch due to a recommendation on a TV program. It was absolutely awful. Pizza is awful and service is almost non-existent. Do not waste your money on this place.

The menu is so small and the pizza was very average. If you like half soggy half crispy pizza this is your place! Not my favorite and over hyped for the price. Go to any other wood fire pizza place and it’ll probably be better and cheaper. It was $7 to add prosciutto to the pizza. So for $30 I got cheese, arugula and prosciutto.

Yes, Yes & Yes. Oh my Gawd! I was so nervous before the pie came out and then when it did I launched into it and said come with me little baby. And yes, oh yes, was it it great. I had a little beverage afterward and looked down upon the empty plate with complete satisfaction. My friend Herbert said the pie was a delight and he was going to cancel his flight to LA so he could enjoy some more pie the next night. I ask, what more do you want?

We waited almost 2 hours… Our waitress was very nice!! Unfortunately what I had been waiting for for two hours was a huge disappointment!! We ordered 3 pies, and all I could taste was char….. I get it they were busy but this is what you are known for….

We had a delicious lunch here a few weeks ago. A meatball sandwich along with a simple tomato, basil and mozarella sandwich were very satisfying for my wife and me.
