Although we had to wait an hour and a half to be seated I
Although we had to wait an hour and a half to be seated I can honestly say it was worth it! Service was amazing and all the staff were very attentive and proactive. Now let's get straight to business. This is hands down the best pizza I've had so far as an LA native. I tried the Ruti's pizza, which had hot honey, garlic, arugula, soppressata, ricotta and then some and my goodness. You ever had a time where you've been served a dish that's so good that you wanna make sure every bit is eaten and the plate is basically cleared out...yeah that's how it is with their pizzas. It was so flavorful...literally a delight to all the senses. Even the crust had an amazing soft, chewy, and crunchy bit to it. I thought I was only going to have a few slices but I ended up devouring the entire pizza. My wife also had their margherita pizza and that was very appetizing as well. All their dishes are fresh and I could tell as you could see all the preparation being done thru their glass window. It seems they thoroughly prepare each meal with passion and love. I would definitely love to return and try more of their dishes. I highly recommend trying this wonderful spot out. 5 stars hands down and I stand by it!
The pizza is magical, good wine selection, service is good.
SAVE SPACE FOR THE TIRAMISU!!!
I was so excited to see Pizzeria Sei open in LA after
I was so excited to see Pizzeria Sei open in LA after coming back from Japan -- and let me tell you, it really tastes like Japan. Authentic and worth the hype. The setup inside is pretty casual, which is fine, but the system? Not the easiest. You have to check in for the waitlist in person, and they often sell out early -- even for to-go orders. I've tried to come four times and only got lucky once. Definitely recommend showing up early. Parking is rough, and one time I didn't find out they were sold out until after I parked -- wish there was a better way to update that info before people go through the hassle. Service-wise, when I called, the guy was super nice and helpful. But when I actually went in to order, the person at the counter wasn't friendly at all. Kinda cold and rude -- not the Japan-level hospitality I expected. The one time I managed to get pizza, I had to take it to go and eat in the car, which definitely took away from the full experience. It was still good, but I know it would've hit different fresh out the oven, dining in. That said, it's the only thing like it in LA, and it's authentic. Just be prepared for the logistical hurdles.
First of all.
.. this is a Michelin star place? Really???? Got there right at opening and yhe bathroom was not even clean. Tiny place no atmosphere what so ever and they want you out ASAP. FOOD... ordered 2 pizzas fungi And a special with lamb sausage. Both were good but not end all be all. The house mad tiramisu was really good. Honestly for the hype... a bit of a disappointment.
The staff was friendly.
Even though there was a slight wait, I was feared fairly quickly (outside). I preferred indoor but the space is very tiny. Not much room for seating. The pizza was good. The Cesar salad was just okay. I'm glad I tried it. I checked it off the list.
Very good.
Neapolitan pizza isn't my favorite but if you like then this is definitely incredible. Very fast and nice service. Not a lot of seating so make a reservation.
Without a doubt one of the best pizzas in America.
The blistered crust is always a treat but what stands out the most is the lamb mala pizza. The flavors are unreal - zesty, savory, floral and delightful! It's well balanced and original and my favorite pizza here. If you want to eat something exciting and delicious - order the lamb mala. Unfortunately, service here was a miss. The white male server ignored my table even though we were seated for 10 minutes without water. He served other patrons and seated other parties that appeared later. My table was completely forgotten until the other female servers noticed. If it wasn't for poor quality and negligent service from the white male server, I would've rated Pizzeria Sei 5 stars. The pizza is that good.
This was my second visit to Pizzeria Sei, and even with all
This was my second visit to Pizzeria Sei, and even with all the well-deserved buzz making reservations tough, I was able to get a waitlist table fairly quickly. We ordered the Margherita, the lamb sausage special, and the pizza Patate. The crust blew me away--super crispy in a way that sets it apart from almost every other Neapolitan out there. The lamb sausage was unreal--almost like kofta transformed into pizza form. A member of our group who usually avoids lamb couldn't stop raving about it. The Margherita was classic perfection. And the Patate...wow. Easily my favorite of the night, maybe even the best pizza I've ever had, with its garlicky cheese sauce layered over potatoes in the most decadent way possible. I've been to Una Pizza in NYC, which is excellent, but I honestly think I prefer Pizzeria Sei. They're doing something truly special here, and I can't wait to come back again and again, as long as I can still find a seat!
*This is solely a Margherita Pizza review* Hollywood
*This is solely a Margherita Pizza review* Hollywood produces some of the best acts we've ever seen, except LA isn't very good at mimicking NY Pizza. Imo the style of Pizza they do excel at is Wood Fired. This is one of their best renditions. My sole gripe with Wood Fired Pizzas is they're usually chewy, as I personally prefer a thin, crispy undercarriage like Luigi's in Brooklyn or Amore in Queens. But the flavors here are spectacular. This is some of the best sauce I've had on a pizza; bright, playful, lively. The cheese isn't overpowering, nice balance with the basil and sauce. The crust is partially burnt, but it's on purpose and compliments the other flavors. My 5th star is for Consistency, so I'm looking forward to trying more and expanding on this review...
I haven't been impressed by pizza in a minute! Cute tiny
I haven't been impressed by pizza in a minute! Cute tiny spot in the Pico area deserves some attention! I'd try to get seated facing towards the kitchen as the other tables don't really have a cool view. Menu is simple and I love the fact that they focus on just pizza. Their pizza is Napoletana style. We got the margherita pizza and added some soppressata as an additional topping. The crust (dough) is next level here and has a nice crunch to it. You can also ask for chili flakes on the side. The star of the show for me really was the burrata though. It's packed with so much flavor and the olive oil pairs perfectly with it. And the bread is covered with garlic olive oil, it can't get better than this! Please get this! Caesar salad is pretty good, and you can always ask for the anchovies on the side. Next time I come I really want to try the pizza bianca.
Wow! Tokyo style pizza has CHANGED THE GAME for me! I
Wow! Tokyo style pizza has CHANGED THE GAME for me! I typically don't like "burnt" style pizza (wood fire, etc) but every bite was truly magical here. It had the perfect amount of smokiness. All the ingredients were fresh & each pizza was memorable. They push the envelope when it comes to creativity! The service was fast & friendly. The inside was small & intimate, but I loved that. It felt.. exclusive haha! I can't wait to return & try their other flavors!
Son wanted to have pizza for his birthday dinner.
He chose Pizzeria Sei based on the recommendation of a co-worker, so the family of four travelled from the Valley to the Westside. Ordered Bismarck, Potato pizza, Margherita and their Lamb pizza along with two appetizers. We ended up having some leftover pizza not because they were not good, but too much in terms of quantity. Everything we ordered tasted excellent and with quality ingredients. When one of the owners, I think, found out that our son is celebrating his birthday, he gave us a slice of their Tiramisu on the house. Because the tiramisu was so good, we ended up finishing it even though we were already full from the meal we had. Another exceptional thing we experienced are the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Very glad that our son had chosen this place. It's worth going back to.
You'll find a small pizza spot that is one of my favorite
You'll find a small pizza spot that is one of my favorite finds of 2024. They have it together, deliver consistent pizza and salads, and maintain quick service in a simple atmosphere. They are not pretentious in any way, and continue to be very busy, and one of the most popular pizza places in Los Angeles. Parking is tough here, and you'll find minimal spots in back, otherwise you will be left to the devices of street parking. Be prepared to walk a block. Tricolore Salad - perfect for one hungry person or two picky eaters, this salad is delicious with a helpful amount of tart dressing that warms up the stomach for a hearty pizza. It is light in every way and I could have enjoyed a large bowl of this by itself and opted out of even the pizza here. Special Margherita with Bufala (cheese) - At $24, this special features buffalo mozzarella cheese instead of the regular cow mozzarella. Although I couldn't tell the difference between the two, I still managed to scarf it down. What I find interesting is their dough and sauces aren't too sweet. Rather, what makes this pizza special is its sauce and its robust tomato flavor that isn't too acidic nor creamy. It's somehow great, and I think you're basically stumbling onto a new expectation of what pizza should taste like.
Did not have a reservation but showed up on a Sunday at
Did not have a reservation but showed up on a Sunday at noon right when they opened. We immediately got seated at a high top table for two. The waiter recommended either a pizza + salad or two pizzas for two people depending on how hungry you are. We got the special of the day Margherita (different cheese than the regular menu) and the Bismark. The crust was very thin on the first pizza and cooked thoroughly with a crispy texture. The topping was excellent - with the right balance between the flavorful tomato sauce and fresh cheese. I liked how the crust on the Bismark was a little fluffier and thickier but found the topping a bit salty and less flavorful although the truffle was aromatic. Overall, the pizza was great. Highly recommend the tomato sauce based ones. The margherita was amazing.
Excellent pizza! So many delicious choices.
The burrata, Margherita, salsiccia and olive are all top choices. Salads are fresh and high quality ingredients. Highly recommend a reservation!
Have I not reviewed this place yet? I think every time I
Have I not reviewed this place yet? I think every time I start a review I get hungry and go there instead. But we went last night and it's closed now, so... Put it this way: I love pizza and could eat it every night. I love Pizzeria Sei as much as I've loved any pizza joint...pizzeria...pizza restaurant... whichever sounds tastiest. I've eaten pizza in a few cities in Italy, many cities in America (including other top rated spots in LA), in Japan, France, Thailand and Vietnam too. NO place has been better than Pizzeria Sei. There are places I feel are equal in one regard or another, but none better. Because Sei doesn't do a Green Curry pizza, I would go to this place in Thailand for that. Pizzana has one with toppings we like, so we MIGHT go there for that one. There's a kebab pizza in Toulouse that I crave... you get the idea. But if Sei has it and another place has one similar or the same, we're going to Pizzeria Sei 8/10 times. Unless we forgot to make reservations and can't wait an hour to be seated for our last minute plan. (But we usually can and will wait because, well, this place is worth it.) The service here is great, with everyone being so kind and as accommodating as they can be. The vibe is not at all pretentious despite the top class menu and knowledge that you're sitting happily with envious people outside wishing they'd made reservations. Although the restaurant is small inside, seating about 20 people, it doesn't feel cramped. We like sitting at the counter so we can watch the pizza chefs at work. Expert and super dedicated. As of last night, we have now tried all of their pizza offerings. My wife typically doesn't like mushrooms, so we saved the Funghi for last. She said, "oh! I wish we'd had this one sooner." But we love one so much that we decide we need to have it the next time too. So it's taken a minute to try them all. Our typical order: (Peroni for me) Tricolore Salad Pizza 1 Pizza 2 (Maybe Tiramisu to share) We have gone home happy every time. A quick aside: My stomach has sometimes hurt a little after eating other pizza...not sure if it's the ingredients or the degree to which it's cooked, or what. That has NEVER happened at Pizzeria Sei.
My go to in LA for the best pizza.
I recommend reservations because the space is small and fills up fast. I love that the counter for patrons is around the Pizza Oven to see all the action. Lamb Sausage pizza is my favorite followed by the buffalo cheese Margarita. Everything on the menu is delicious. I recommend a must visit when in LA
I was in WeHo and this popped up as one of the best pizzas
I was in WeHo and this popped up as one of the best pizzas in LA. After eating here I get the hype. The pizza definitely leans more towards Neopalitan than any other styles. If I had to pick one complaint it would be that there were too many toppings on the pie for this style of crust which made it a floppy mess. Saying that it was extremely flavorful and complex so I am willing to overlook the issue. The pizza I chose was a lamb sausage special which was described as big and heavy which in a traditional sense it was, but with the lemon, flowered cilantro and acidic tomato sauce it felt extremely balanced and fresh. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and gave solid recommendations. I was almost sold on some tiramisu at the end of the meal, but I was so full I was about to explode. I sat at the bar and I was able to watch the cooks work their magic which is always fun especially when dining alone like I was. I'll definitely be back!
I had the patate and bizmark pizzas.
Appetizer of prosciutto was good. Orange wine and Chablis was good. Chablis especially. I thought the pizza was too salty, probbaly from the cheese. I wanted to love it but it was just ok.

Pizza is really good, very flavorful and charred crust is awesome. Cheese quality is really great and a nice savory simple sauce. Place is REALLY small so don't expect to dine in unless you have a reservation. Not really an extended date place cuz you'll definitely feel rushed to get out of there -- but there's a bar next door! And they do take out but there's no where nearby to sit and enjoy the pie.
Surprisingly flavorful pizza in every bite.
Their crust alone best my expectations: just the right crunch at the first bite followed by a pleasant soft interior. I got the margarita. It was amazing. The place is very small though, I wish they had more seats.
Get the marinara & patate pizzas.
The marinara has no cheese but it shines on its own bc the tomato sauce is quality, and the cheesiness of the patate pizza gives you that extra umph and depth. Service was great, too!
I can attest that Pizzeria Sei serves up the best pies in
I can attest that Pizzeria Sei serves up the best pies in California. We were seated immediately at the bar without any prior reservations, although I would recommend making reservations if you'd like a table. The menu is simple, but it ranges from appetizers and salads to red sauce pies. We had the Bianca & Diavola with a glass of wine to pair (they have a decent wine menu). The crust is perfect and charred nicely, yet it isn't too thin and remains chewy. The Bianca was heavy and savory, yet the texture remained balanced with the flavors. The Diavola had a nice balance between the red sauce, chili flakes, and cheese. Everything was perfect and I loved their take on traditional Neapolitan pies. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great pizza in LA, which might be hard to come by.
Walk-In , 1st Time Try.
Order Burrata , Margherita Special , Napoletana , Bismark. Excellent Taste Pizza ! Pizza Melted In The Mouth. Great Staffs Service , Thank You. Highly Recommended.

good spot, love the pizza and flavors, would come again if in the area, marg is flavorful and light, white sauce potato pizza was good too, creamy, flavorful but lil heavy.
Best neapolitan pizza in LA! Dough is super airy and light
Best neapolitan pizza in LA! Dough is super airy and light and toppings are super fresh. Their tomato sauce is AMAZING! Caesar salad was also really good. 10000/10 must try! Very limited seating so be prepared to wait or just get take out.
Best pizzas in LA.
Maybe even better than New York. Or at least most places in NY. (Don't hate me.)
Really popular place, obviously.
I understood they couldn't seat us without reservation. That noted, the waitstaff was friendly and suggested we do takeout, which would only take about ten minutes. We ordered the Funghi pizza, which was more than enough for two people. So my thoughts on the actual pizza? The crust, mushrooms, garlic, and pecorino cheese were an explosion of flavor! Loved every bite of the garlicky mushrooms I got. I wish the crust hadn't been burnt, though, which lessened the meal for me. I don't know what else to add? The ambiance seemed quaint, perfect for a date night. I'll be back to try the other pizzas. Please do keep a more watchful eye when cooking the pizza because charred crust isn't what I'm looking for when spending $30 on a single pizza, especially one that would have been a perfect pizza otherwise.
I just had one of the best pizza in LA.
My brother invite my wife and me to eat at this very small pizzeria. I had a flash back i see my self when i start to work as a pizza chef at Angeli caffรจ on Melrose 40 years ago. Same set up just a little bigger. They serve good salad and appetizer, amazing pizza and one of the best tiramisu. I will be back very soon with more Neapolitan friend.
This is hands down one of the best pizzas in California
This is hands down one of the best pizzas in California !!!!! My first time tonight and the Margherita was killer. Super fluffy crust, salty, herby, with a nice tang to the sauce and mozzarella. I will Be coming here more often. Also amazing was the burrata appetizer. Such amazing olive oil and great quality burrata cheese, plus the bread is awesome as well.
I've heard about this pizza joint when it was all the hype
I've heard about this pizza joint when it was all the hype a few months ago and it lived up to the hype! It was a very good pizza with close to perfect dough. I would say this is the 2nd best pizza I've ever had to date. My party got a funghi (mushroom) and diavolo ( salami, peppers on red sauce). Both were delicious and my favorite would be the diavolo. It had a nice spicy kick and a well balance of flavors. The dough was very chewy yet thin. The salad was good too. It was very citrusy and they use real anchovies to top the salad. The tiramisu was probably my favorite item of my meal! It was perfectly moist and the cream was delectable. Probably one of the best tiramisu I have had. They recommend reservations since the place is so small. They mostly have bar seating and 1 table for a party of 6 or so. The service was ok and decent. The host was exceptionally nice. He was truthful about our wait time which was about 45 mins on an early Saturday night.

AMAZING the crust is incredible- slightly salty ( which I like ) compliments the tomato sauce perfectly. So good! Will be back next time I'm in LA

My gf took us here for dinner tonight and my mind was blown out of this world! The Mala lamb is something I never knew i needed in my life. The flavors were muah amazing! We were skeptical but I'm glad we chose with ( help of the waiter). Even ordered one Togo and they place the lemon and cilantro on the side. The special marghertia was good choice if you're being safe Bismarck was a Togo and i ate that in the car as safely as I could to avoid making a mess. The prosciutto is so good! Trocolore salad was so good and lemony. The perfect kind of lemon hints! Recommend to make reservations seating is limit but worth it! The service here is pretty on point as well. Fun spot especially if you live in the area. There's only street parking.
Contender for best pizza place I've had in my life.
Ambiance is great too, especially if you sit at the bar and see them make the pizzas.

ON OF THE TOP PIZZA I HAVED WHY 1STAR always about the service pizzeria sei is my go to place but it was first writing review However last time i visited Had one of the worst service I could have. We had put waiting list and told us about 45 min that was ok But we had party of 3 all the sit came out was 2 sit so behind us waiting line went and that was ok i said. But after 3 party have left it was our time but however the server made the 3 sit to 4 and make us eat? well if we havn't waited for 1:30 hr maybe it was ok but everytime former 2sit was vacant they had 2 people in but seeing 3 sit for 4 and having us squashed well cant take that and additional not asking anything for us for 10 min oh my how could I say more Still there pizza was excellent just plz take look at you guy's service if its barrable
The pizza here is truly phenomenal.
Highly recommend the funghi pizza and the margarita special. It's a small restaurant with bar seating and a few tables. There is parking in the back of the restaurant as well as street parking. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed about was the service, the waiters are a bit cold which made my experience not as inviting as I hoped. I would consider take out in the future.
Amazing pizzas.
Ended up ordering one to go so I could have more the next day. Popped it on the oven at home and still delicious.

What a gem!! Pizzeria Sei is a must!! Be sure to make a reservation. It's a small restaurant, but the flavors are mighty! It's a very intimate restaurant with table and bar seating where you can watch the chefs make pizza. The head chef and owner is very kind. The pizza dough is excellent and the flavors are explosive! I highly recommend eating here!! We went two weekends in a row and for very good reason!! It's excellent!!! Also don't forget to order the tiramisu!! It's the best way to end your meal!!
Great Pizza
Simply put - damn good pizza. Definitely not inexpensive, but itโs well worth the price for a special night out.
Best Pizza in LA
This is simply the best pizza in Los Angeles. Itโs a tiny place, so expect a wait. If you are ordering for takeout, you can book your pickup in advance online. They do limit the number of takeout orders, so best to book your takeout order the day before. The pizzas are relatively expensive, but once you taste them youโll know why.
Pizzeria Sei has a quickly become my new favorite pizzeria.
Although the menu might be limited, I'd rush back in a heartbeat. The whole experience is super unique. You get to sit right on stools and watch as the pizza is made right in front of you. What we ordered: Burrata - Delicious as usual Mushroom pizza - So good. Love the hints of garlic. One of my favorite mushroom pizzas in LADaviola - I still dream about this pizza. Has a bit of a kick but you just want to keep going back to it. As for everything else;Reservation - A mustParking - Can be difficult being near a busy intersection Ambiance - it's a bit bare, so if they move I'd expect it to look a lot nicer and hopefully get a liquor licenseService - Was acceptable. Not too bad or good
The service here was great and I was just here for takeout.
The shop itself can be a bit hard to find with limited seating but has a very old-timely cozy vibe. The food was amazing! I got the Patate and Diavola pizza. The Patate looked so good I actually kinda burned my mouth eating it. Definitely let it cool down before taking a bite but these pizzas are best fresh and hot. New favorite pizza spot!
Delicious Neopolitan pizza on the corner of Pico &
Delicious Neopolitan pizza on the corner of Pico & Robertson. We joined the Yelp waitlist on the way there & were seated upon arrival. Ordered the Funghi pizza & the Tricolore salad. Salad was flavorful, loads of parmesan, arugula, & lemon zest. The pizza crust was soft, fluffy, & chewy. But the THINLY sliced mushroom - game changer. You get some thinly sliced mushroom every bite. Along with some whole roasted garlic cloves. One of the best mushroom pizzas I have had. You can see them cook your pizza in the wood oven which makes the experience fun. Customer service was great & ambiance is small & cozy but very clean. I will definitely be coming back to try some more pizzas. (Parking: Street/ meter)Food 5/5Service 5/5Ambiance 5/5

Damn. That was a bomb ass Neo Pizza.Swung by here on a Sunday afternoon before the dinner rush and was able to get seated right away. No parking lot, but plenty of street and neighborhood spots open.Gonna keep this one short and sweet so on to the good stuff. Salad (forgot the name): Had arugula n some radicchio n other stuff. straight forward clean salad. Get your greens in with this.Diavola Pizza: My reason to come back. Tomato sauce had a nice punchy umami to it. The pizza crust itself was nice n crispy on the outside, but light and airy all the while being fluffy AF and chewy. Damn good. they work some magic w their dough work here. This pizza was full of flavor. Absolutely get this. Funghi: Same thing w the amazing crust here but a white pizza. Wasnt sure what the sauce was on this but with the mushrooms and garlic it was pretty straightforward for any mushroom lover, but for myself a little on the blander side, so u might want to punch up the flavor a lil and ask for some parm to throw on top. Still a good pizza, but not my top choice. Will come back here to explore the other Zza's they have on the menu!Great fucking pizza. If you're a neopolitan pizza lover come here, and if you're not still come here!
This place is j*zz in yo pants good.
If you're going to eat here bring extra panties.Recently, my wife and I to-go'd a pizza and it was finished before we even got home.Service is always great here. The ambiance is quaint and its cool to see your pizza being made.Best pizza place in town and possibly the country.
Soooooo good.
I've had pizza all over the world and this place is on par with the best of them. Everything I tried was exceptional and the staff was super friendly. Ambiance is low key, but the food definitely exceeded my expectations. Don't think about it. Just go.

I'll preface this with Neapolitan pizza not being my favorite in general, so this was already a hard sell for me going in. Service was great. Prices are fair for what this experience is. Parking is average on the street. The salad options were better than the pizzas, in my opinion. However, this location isn't the best. Across the street from Walgreens and homeless. Pizzeria Sei is tiny. Not good for groups. Maybe 3 people? Not good for dates, because since it's so small, everyone in the restaurant will overhear your conversation. I wouldn't do takeout because Neapolitan pizza needs to be eaten right away to maximize the taste and be less soggy, while other pizzas can be totally fine if eaten 30 minutes after it comes out of the oven. I'm not sure how long this place can be in business once the hype is over. Maybe they'll get so big, they'll expand to a bigger location? I don't imagine coming back, but that's not to say it's necessarily bad. It just wasn't for me for the reasons I listed above.
The food was AMAZING! You can really tell that the quality
The food was AMAZING! You can really tell that the quality of the ingredients are top tier. We ordered a Caesar salad and the margarita pizza which were super good. The salad had a really good umami flavor from the cheese and dressing. The tomato and cheese on the pizza was so delicious and the crust was the perfect texture. We were also lucky to sit at the counter so it's super fun to watch the chefs making the dough and cooking the pizzas. Service was good and they were very attentive. It's definitely a casual place but the food is bomb. Definitely check this place out!!
