LOVELY SALAD
I came here for lunch on the weekend. It wasn't nearly as busy as it would have been on a weekday. I ordered the Asian salad, which contained shredded carrots, avocado, mixed greens, corn kernels, pulled chicken breast pieces, tortilla strips. It all came with a spicy peanut dressing. Plenty of very tasty and healthy food, enough for a doggie bag. Reasonably priced. Lively background music emanating from speakers.

The weather was very pleasant, unseasonably warm. I, therefore, sat outside in a shaded area. Tables out there were socially distanced. The restaurant wasn't crowded as this was a weekend day. I ordered the Mahi Mahi Francaise. The dish was also available with chicken instead of the fish. My entrรฉe came with broccoli, lots of it. It was cooked just right: not too soft and not too hard. Broccoli is a cruciate vegetable and is good for you. I squeezed some lemon on it to impart flavor. The mahi mahi portion of the entrรฉe was served over thin pasta that was sprinkled with chopped onions and capers. The confluence of flavors worked well. My young waitress, Alyssa, was very helpful and efficient. She came out to check to see if my water glass needed refilling. Water was my own beverage. The meal was reasonably priced, well worth the cost.

We were referred here on a Friday night by an employee at another restaurant nearby that was closing as we went in. We ordered rinks. The long island was off. Then we ordered an appetizer. The calamari was so tough there was no way to chew it enough to swallow. Then we ordered our mains. I ordered a burger and fries. The fries were hard and not edible. We could see everyone else seemed to be happy, but they seemed to have had more to drink. Our visit was late evening.

Love QD, particularly the new edition off Cordova Road. Great food, service, bar and ambience! This is the best addition to the QD collection of restaurants.
Be the first to ReplySEAFOOD AND MORE
Seemingly a seafood restaurant with a wide variety of items from the ocean. But there are also some steak, ribs and chicken dishes. I come here for the pecan crusted chicken breast salad, with its variety of tastes and textures. Not filling. Very healthy. I always take an outside table so I can maintain social distancing since no one wears a mask. Service is generally pretty good. Prices are reasonable. I come for lunch. There's free parking.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time visit
We tried this restaurant for The first time, every year we see it as weโre driving down Las Olas Blvd. This time we decided to stop in, our waiter was Cameron who is very professional and attentive, the food was tasty and the drinks were strong we will definitely return next time we visit Fort Lauderdale
Be the first to ReplyNo masks, Covid superspreader!
At the height of covid infections in FL, it was disturbing than nobody wore a mask. Wait staff go from table to table unmasked. Put us off going there now. Shouldn't management ask servers to be masked to help prevent the spreading of this virus?!

Had a nice family dinner here. I had the fist tacos and they were very good. Service was just OK. I did love the decor on the walls. Lots of fishing, ships, boats etc and my son liked looking at everything.
Be the first to ReplyWould not go back. Poor service, order wrong, and charged 50 cents for extra BBQ sauce
1) Asked the server, Katherine, if they were still offering the full rack special for $17.99. She said no. TOld her "but it's on your website." SHe said no and said there was something different sometimes.... I said again "it's definitely a special, Sunday through THursdaday, 4 to 7 pm, full rack, $17.99." She went off to check and came back and said yes, there is the special - so we ordered it. $17.99, full rack of ribs. (we ordered one portion). Were given the half rack (but didn't know it until we got the check) - just kept thinking wow, what a small portion of ribs for a full rack - kept saying "this really looks like half a rack" - so strike one for getting the order wrong. 2) asked once for a bit of extra bbq sauce. none came. Asked again. None came. After flailing around and waving my arms like a crazy person I managed to get someone's attention - asked a third time, and was brought a thimble full of bbq sauce. 3) WE WERE CHARGED 50 CENTS FOR THAT TINY THIMBLE OF BBQ SAUCE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! 4) had a side of steamed veggies for $4. A small sideplate of cold veggies was delivered. Pretty pathetic. 5) We ordered ribs - don't you think they'd have brought a couple of extra napkins, or some wet wipes? NO. After the meal when Katherine (server) was clearing, and I was covered in sauce, I asked for a couple of wet wipes, which she brought. 6) She never came to ask us if everything was OK, or how the meal was, while we were eating. Poor, poor, poor. Would we go back? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS.
Be the first to ReplyServer with Rude Political Sticker
Today a server was walking around with a NO OBAMA sticker on her guest book. A restaurant chain that has thrived in Broward County should be more aware about creating an environment that is politically toxic and not inclusive. Staff should leave their personal politics at the door during a work hours.
