Always great service, good food, family and dog friendly, free parking nearby, has the NEAT bar next door with same food and more seating. Great pit stop on way back from FLL :-)
Be the first to ReplyGreat restaurant.
Food was awesome. Staff was very accommodating and attentive. Definitely a place to go.
Be the first to ReplyWe enjoyed the calm atmosphere outside.
There are plenty of shaded tables to sit at with your pet. Rocky was comfortable the whole time. They are very dog friendly. They even have a dog menu. Rocky enjoyed the grilled chicken and rice.

Food was very good and on a Thursday night, the live music was very good. The service was on point. It was our first time there and it will not be our last. We enjoy local fish and seafood on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyThis is definitely for the let's grab a quick bite.
Nothing fancy, food is good. Ambiance is very much not so nice but hey. Service, you get what you get.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Fort Lauderdale location attached by an open outdoor
Great Fort Lauderdale location attached by an open outdoor patio to Whiskey Neat. We sat in the patio and met our server, Alex, who was polite, friendly and attentive who also provided food and drink suggestions. I checked in with Yelp and was offered a FREE Craft Cocktail which I immediately used by ordering the wife a beautiful Pink Michelle Titos cocktail. I also ordered a Burger and Philly Cheese Steak with french fries. Semi-busy with a lunch crowd but food was ready to eat in fifteen minutes. Everything was prepared perfectly. The burger was juicy and delishious. The Philly was tasty with a side of buffalo wing sauce to dip. The men's bathroom decor was great and modern but the floor was filthy and monitoring is needed. The women's bathroom lights were flickering above the stalls and one was completely out. This location's incredible ambiance in addition to a great outdoor patio, amazing food and refreshing cocktail was an excellent 4.7 and would have gave a strong 5+ hence the bathroom, easy fix, situation.

What do you think of a restaurant that has multiple TVs, that won't put close caption on one of them so we can hear the commentary or read the commentary to the Super Bowl out of 40 TVs?? I asked them to put it on just ONE, I mean, I'm not totally deaf but with all the background noise and all , couldn't hear a thing as could my other people .. ASKED MANAGEMENT POLITELY After an argument with the managers attitude & $100 later, i left to make it home for 1/2 time show I'm very sad because I usually like #quarterdeck and this one is beautiful and has a great vibe & great patio .. except for the management! WHAT IF I WAS REALLY HANDICAPPED? Was I discriminated against ? #quarterdeck17thstreetCauseway.

We sat outside and they had live music which was relaxing- not extremely loud. Cool atmosphere. I had the shrimp tacos and thought they were very good.

From the second i walked in the door, i was wonderfully greeted by a beautiful hostess named Sydney. She gracefully escorted me to my favorite table. My server was the gorgeous Alley. She recommended the Manhattan roll which is by far my favorite item on the menu. I said goodbye to my Quarterdeck family and went home very satisfied and full.
Be the first to Replymy server was Allie.
She was so amazing and was so diligent and quick. I tried the Manhattan roll, and I am mediately fell in love with the cream cheese and astonishing flavors. I will be back ASAP.

On Saturday March 18, 2023 I stopped at the Quarterdeck in Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33316I stopped there mid-morning. I been to the Quarterdeck before and had lunch and it was very good. I had in the past their chicken wings and also their sushi. This Saturday I was in the area I was not sure what I wanted to eat. The owner approached me and handed me a menu and briefly told me that they had a nice selection on breakfast. He told me that the Shrimps and Grits were excellent. I placed my order, 20 minutes later to my surprise my dish comes out and O, BOY to my eyes!!!! I failed to take a picture as proof to show my yelp followers. The dish came out not presentable at all and full of grease!! The dish looked nasty. I returned the plate and said my stomach could not digest all that grease. Owner had me order something else and I figured ok let me try French Toast how can you screw that up. That was worse than the first dish ordered. The French toast came out soggy and full of butter grease and I asked for a box then dumped it in the garbage on my way out. OMG its clear QUARTERDECK does not specialize in breakfast at all. I strongly suggest you stick to your lunch menu. When I arrived home I needed to take some ALKA SEZLTERS to soothe my stomach when I tried the food at the moment. Either it was a new Chef that did not know how to cook or someone fresh out of Highschooler with NO cooking experience. It was the worst. Will I stop again....I will look for another restaurant and stick to place that specialize in breakfast. Disappointed as the scenery is beautiful to sit outside to eat. This place has a nice big tree in the center of their Patio that's pretty to see and relax atmosphere. But QUARTERDECK did not meet my EXPECTATIONS at all. I deserve a full Refund on my FRENCH TOAST that I was unable to eat. My server Alyssa needed more training. She did not seem concerned at all with what was going on. She was too busy attending customers that were drinking and ordering Beer at 11am. Horrible morning breakfast experience. SMH...Disappointed customer MARIAE
Be the first to ReplyGood casual place for food.
Prices are hit or miss. If you catch Happy Hour, prices are solid. Cool atmosphere and Florida vibe.
Be the first to ReplyThe original Quarterdeck opened on Cordova Road in Ft.
Lauderdale in 1966 along with Big Daddy's Liquor Store and Lounge. It was created by Paul Flannigan's uncle, Joe "Big Daddy" Flanigan. The lounge was nicknamed the "Quarterdeck" by Big Daddy, after the stern area of a ship. If the Flannigan name sounds familiar it's because Paul's cousin owns the chain of Flannigan's restaurants. Paul Flannigan purchased Quarterdeck in 1986. He opened a second Quarterdeck location opened on Fort Lauderdale Beach in 1995 followed by six additional Quarterdeck restaurants in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties from 1997 through 2004. The last time I ate here it was at the old location on Cordova. That restaurant was a Ft. Lauderdale landmark for 53 years. The restaurant was known as a locals hangout where you would go for a first date, family gathering, or class reunion, and it was famous for its 100 fishing mounts, deep sea diving pictures, and antique ship models. Popular menu items were the dolphin sandwiches and full rack rib dinners. Through the years the location became run down and Paul Flannigan was unable to purchase it from the landlord. In preparation for a move he bought a new space nearby on 17th Street and the old Quarterdeck closed in April of 2019. When building the new two story Quarterdeck, Paul brought over the old restaurants photos, wall decor, even the original booths. I came in to check out the "new" Flannigans for a St. Patrick's Day lunch when all of the areas Irish pubs were too crowded to handle me. Quarterdeck is located on the same block as Village Well Pub and Waxy's Irish Pub. One of the improvements over the old location is that there is a separate parking lot across the street that can handle a lot more cars. Quarterdeck has an indoor area with all of the old fishing mounts hanging up and an inviting outdoor courtyard which is dog friendly. I took advantage of the beautiful weather and sat outside. There is also an upstairs bar but it was closed when I went. For St. Patrick's Day I had the Rueben sandwich special. The sandwich was okay but the fries were absolutely terrible. They should cut some potatoes and make some real fries. The best part of lunch was that a Yelp check in netted me a free cocktail. The bar was pouring the green food coloring into all the drinks sending them out bright green. I had one of their specials, a refreshing green tea Jameson orange. They also had $8 Jameson Irish slammers. I don't know if it was because I was dining alone but my waitress Brooke R completely ignored me. It was so bad that when I needed to pay someone at the table next to me had to flag someone else down. I never saw her again. The new Quarterdeck is bigger but not necessarily better than the old beloved location. It lost its friendly vibe in the move.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite local spots! Food is always good.
Great ambiance and even great live music. Peter, Tommy and Kylie always give excellent service!

Always a great day when you come to Quarterdeck, get to sit outside and Peter is at your service... always smiling and attentive (& those curls)! Food is consistently delicious! Kylie and Tommy, the managers, run a tight ship! Thanks guys!

Don't go for dinner if you don't want to contend with barking dogs. I don't care how good the food is or how great the service, owners who bring their barking dogs should be asked to leave or told not to return with Bow-Wow.Management may believe being pet friendly is a hook; owners with barking dogs should be asked to leave. The dogs owner should treat their their barking buddy to an evening at Barker Pet Center in the neighborhood. Owners of barking dogs and who refuse to pick up poochie's poop should be required to do kennel therapy.

A few days back I went to the Quartdeck off Harbordale (17th St) and had an absolute blast. The service was top notch. Our server was Chris and he did a stupendous job. They have tons of seating outside under the sun and a bar/restaurant inside as well. Such a great experience. Well done Quarterdeck.
