The Cajun shrimp caesar is a must! All of their fish is fresh and really good, I always love the sea bass and Cajun salmon. You can skip the crab cakes

Located next to the beach coming off of the PCH, this spot is very local and serene. I enjoyed the fish and chips with a side of cajun rice and I especially liked the tartar sauce they have. The ice tea was also great. There's a lot of seating, both outside and inside, and it's great for an after surf meal. It's not like a traditional restaurant so there isn't much service but the people were still nice.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is absolutely delicious.
Every single bite. The service is amazing. There's lots of cool stuff to look at here. You can see the beach from your seat.
Be the first to ReplyFood is horrible.
The quality of fish is below horrible. We ordered chilean Seabass, and it was cooked to rubber and tasted like it was five weeks old. We returned it for a refund.

It's been a while since I have been here but the food never disappoints. I love this place and the vibe. The outdoor patio is great especially on a nice beautiful LA day. Also they do allow dogs in the outdoor patio. This is a great spot when heading out of LA along PCH.
Be the first to ReplyA beautiful spot for a great piece of fish.
I had the Sea Bass Cajun style with Cajun rice. My fish was meaty, moist and cooked perfectly. The Cajun rub was good, not overpowering. Just right. The rockfish and salmon are other good choices.

The standout dish was the signature seafood platter, a feast for the senses featuring a variety of impeccably sourced seafood delicacies. Each item on the platter was expertly cooked and beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. What's truly sets apart is their genuine love and care for pets. They provided a water bowl and even offered a special doggy menu with tasty treats for our furry friend.

We've been coming here for years and it continues to be one of the best fish places in LA. Always fresh and lightly seasoned all the dishes are delicious. The below reviewer Mojito doesn't know what he's talking about.

Went with a group of friends and really enjoyed ourselves in the outdoor seating. My fried shrimp dish was yummy and I even got to have a delicious margarita. The people taking our orders were very nice.
Be the first to ReplyFun location and casual beach atmosphere.
Food quite mediocre. Go here to drink, stick with deep fried stuff if you must eat.

What a great place! We met up with family that live nearby in Pacific Palisades and they insisted we try their local go-to. The parking is decent, the place massive with good indoor and lots of outdoor seating. Outdoor consists of an awning covering for inclement weather and electric heaters. The food is fairly priced for presentation, quality, quantity, temperature, and taste. Staff was nice and seemed to recognize loyals by name. We don't venture this way often, but would return and recommend to any who come this way.

We wandered in here during a quiet time just because it was convenient, and honestly were honestly surprised by the Yelp reviews after the fact. I think the decor kind of sets the expectation - you're here for a decent lowkey meal in a chill environment with friendly staff. We got the fish and chips and fried calamari/shrimp, and they came out fresh and crispy. It didn't blow our minds, it wasn't seasoned much, but you don't really need that with fresh seafood. This place gets a thumbs up from both a New Orleans native and a person who grew up eating nearly exclusively live seafood. I can say the coleslaw is somehow completely tasteless, though. I'd skip on on that unless you just like the texture.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite places for seafood.
I used to live in the area and went very often. I live farther away now and don't get there quite as often. But it's gratifying to know that they're still doing great work. There was a line when I got there so I knew I was in for another good meal.
Be the first to ReplyJust didn't care for the food.
Tried it again to see if maybe the first time I just ordered the wrong entree. But no better the second time. Pleasant atmosphere. Good service. Nice people but will not return.

My calamari steak came out SOAKED in grease, it was damn near swimming. Didn't taste terrible, but just the way it looked was disgusting. Vegetables didn't have a lick of seasoning, fries were decent. All the employees very nice tho

If you are dining here during summer time, don't get discouraged by the line outside, cause it goes pretty quickly. All seafood items very fresh and tasty but my favorite is always fish and chips
Be the first to ReplyExcellent fish tacos.
Great scenery. Cool venue. What more can I say? I love the Reel Inn!

Fun place, order at fish counter then find a great place to sit with an ocean view or in the sweet patio outside- my favorite place to dine. Good menu variety- great lunch and dinner plates many choices and easy parking. Located Right on highway 1. Easy to find.

Location and the vibe of the Reel Inn were great but everyone in my party agreed that the food was not great. We're not sure if we got them on an off day but it just wasn't the freshest.

This place is great the food is amazing the location is nice I got the grilled chicken and capers with fries the chicken was high quality and the fries were good too I highly recommend this place
Be the first to ReplyDope spot off PCH for some seafood.
Fried is the way to go IMO but the shrimp pasta was pretty good too. Line can get long but they move it pretty quick. Outdoor patio seating is the way to go on a beautiful day in Malibu.

I have been going here since they opened and it is one of the best spots for fish I have been toThe sautéed halibut in the wine, butter and caper sauce is off the hookSitting by the windows watching the waves roll in while enjoying a meal and a Pacifico is as close to zen as I have experienced
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to visit if you have some out of town visitors.
The food is almost all fried and the salads are just not worth it. The peppered seared ahi tuna salad 14.95 was a mixed leaf with a very bland dressing. If you're just looking to be outdoors on a nice day with some guests then definitely check them out.
