terrible.
service is beyond atrocious. Staff is disrespectful and classless. Not to mention, the food is mediocre. It's an overall nonsense place. do not go. do not waste your money here. go to kei, alleno, chez george, le clarence or le tailevent. I wish I listened to the reviews instead of giving this place a chance. I regret wasting my time here and money. This place is NOT a 2 Michelin restaurant at all.

The most beautiful dining room in Paris and possibly one of the most gorgeous in the world! Le Meurice in Paris is a Michelin starred restaurant by the world famous Alain Ducasse and their food and ambience simply cannot be beat! The team consists of Amaury Bouhours as the Executive Chef and Cédric Grolet as the Pastry Chef. Definitely worth traveling to Paris just for this meal!We got the Le Meurice Brunch set which included some of the best freshly-baked pastries from Cédric, and every course was so scrumptious you can taste the quality in every bite. The "Original Creations" desserts from Cédric was perhaps the best I've ever had. If you didn't know, his pastries/desserts focus on fruits and the reinterpretation of traditional French desserts and he's known for desserts that have a likeness to the fruits from which they're made. For our meal, he created a palm sized coffee bean looking dessert with numerous layers of different flavor and textures. It had the perfect level of bitterness, sweetness, crunchiness, and creaminess

Absolutely amazing! No words to describe the experience! Staff was so kind, thoughtful, and professional! Very welcoming! Really loved the ambiance and decor! Elegant yet modern. Very well managed restaurant.Lovely champagne to start the meal! Very nice drink selection as well. Most delicious bread with olives! I just saw the bread is divine! Every course we served in a beautiful presentation.

"Opulence you earn everything!" This is the most over the top dinning experience I have ever had. You will feel like Louis XIV. From the good lined, meticulously designed interior to the manicured out of central casting staff every detail is on point. The three course dinner is more like 10 courses. With the amuse bouche, bread, sorbet, cheese plus the meal you will definitely be full by the end of the over 2 hour meal. The langoustine was subtle and delicious. The pate was one of the most masterfully executed I've tasted. John Dory was tender and excellent. Duck was a star. The only dish I wouldn't recommend is the blue lobster. Just not as tasty as other dishes. They deserve to get their third star back!

Please ensure to meet the dress code which does require a suit jacket. For those whom may have forgotten a suit jacket or may not have packed one in the luggage they will offer one of theirs for use while dining. Be sure to reserve a table in advance or advise your concierge to do so hours in advance, this establishment is quite popular. The location is ideal and very close to many excellent hotels, it was located literally around the corner from ours. We were greeted by a delightful hostess and immediately seated at a comfortable table with a view of the dining room. The dining room was very elegant and in order, the noise level was ideal for my preference and the tables are tactfully positioned to ensure other conversations would not bleed into ours. The size of the tables provide more than enough room to dine very comfortably I despise a crowded dinner table. We were immediately met with water and an exceptional wine menu with several excellent Bordeaux's. Our sommelier was very helpful, knowledgeable and he also recommended a different year Bordeaux than what I initially selected. It turned out to be an exquisite bottle of wine. The menu was reviewed with us, we covered food allergies as well as preferences and limitations on what we just prefer not to eat. A fine selection of bread and butter arrived, as well as a small plate, courtesy of the chef, absolutely wonderful. They are very capable of catering to vegetarians as well and provided some very fine vegetable dishes. More wonderful surprises from the chef to come along the way as you work through the courses, my favorite is typically the filet mignon, cooked medium rare with a side of Béarnaise.I prefer anything and everything chocolate off the dessert menu, regardless, the desserts are spectacular. We left with a nice gift of chocolates as well, dinner was exquisite, service was excellent! All in all the dinner was phenomenal . You are in France so keep that in mind when choosing your wine. Cheers!

Every part of this dining experience here was impeccable-- from the ambience with romantic chandelier lighting, parisian style decor and paintings, to table side service and attentive staff. The food was on point! They surprised us with several amuse bounce, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Ask for Remy.. he helped make the best food recommendations. The Langoustines starter and Truffle chicken dish were both memorable!
Be the first to ReplyHad a really great meal and wine here.
. what was most impressive is the one-on-one service you get from the staff. it's a small dining area with elegant touches everywhere. Our server paid at least a month's rent with our tip... she was that good... this place is 50% food and 50% service.. it's both that make this place so good.

Enjoyed a Saturday business breakfast here with a group of four. Had the omelette with truffle and a variety of pastries. The portions are not big but flavorful. The wait stuff is absolutely excellent. They know every item down to it's finest details and speak English very well which is not easy to find in Paris. Parking is not easy but there is a valet. This is very close to the Louvre and several other popular spots, and great shopping around the corner as well. It is a good location to start the day from and explore Paris afterwards. I recommend going here for the ambiance and flair. Prices are a bit on the high end.
Be the first to ReplyLet's start off with the decor.
The place is beautiful. The only weird elements were our swivel chairs and the silver frame LCD in the fake fireplace. The was probably the ugliest and worse design decision ever. It makes zero sense and is an eyesore. Aside from that, the tasting menu was interesting. First of all, I had the menu with the prices whereas my girlfriend received a menu without. Secondly, the prices are up there but so much so that the almost force you for the tasting menu. That said, the good was quite good and the spacing between courses were just fine. We also had the entertainment value of some mainland Chinaman making a hissy fit over not ordering wine before his first course. The staff at Le Meurice dealt with it professionally despite the childish tantrum. Money can't buy class after all. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would be back. Thank you for the great time.

This popular Alain Ducasse restaurant in Le Meurice hotel in Paris is located within a short walking distance from the Louvre Museum. We arrived at our reservation time and they kindly provided me a jacket in order to meet their strict dress code. The classy setting is inspired by Versailles Palace and the service is truly impeccable. We ordered the prix fixe menu which started with an interesting oyster plating wrapped in butter crisp for a nice texture. The amuse-bouche came in a surprising iron pot but the root vegetables were perfectly cooked and highlighted the regional produce. The asparagus appetizer was the best that we've had. The chicken main course was tender with skin that was nicely crisp. All-in-all a good highlight of French cuisine.Dessert sorbet was prepared in front of us in an impressive fruit cart. The meal ended with coffee and walnut crisps along with a box of local chocolates. We left happy with our Michelin experience.
Be the first to ReplyEven for Paris.
Even for a super chic hotel. The prices are ridiculous. 15€ for a juice that isn't even freshly made, and that is served in a plain glass with not an ounce of decoration. A joke, really. Beautiful place though!
Be the first to ReplyThis is an upscale restaurant and service was terrible.
We came for brunch thinking that we had a menu but it was 'buffet'. It was as any other good buffet in a hotel. My spouse is vegetarian and the only option was risotto. Really? And honestly it was not good. I definitely would still say, there is no other like Gramercy in NYC
