Dinner during the holiday in Minori
Very nice, typical restaurant, with attention to detail, full of paintings and objects that tell the story of the place. Excellent food and abundant dishes, kind staff, typical ceramic dishes, decorated, very attentive owner and attentive to guests' requests.
Be the first to ReplyAweful service - tourists given/ focus on local customers
We visited twice in a week and on both occasions were not offered a table outside even though many were empty , first evening food was excellent shared local fish really good so we came back on our last evening!! How wrong could we be - having made a reservation we were offered the worst seats outside again even though many were empty , we chose to go inside again , ordered two meals - my pizza came straightaway unfortunately my wifeโs tuna meal didnโt arrive , after 20 odd mins we asked two people , no one apologised or explained, my pizza was cold !! We shared a bit of it whilst waiting , service was so poor !!! Highly recommended to avoid !!!

Excellent place for a quiet evening and end of the day in this corner of the Tyrrhenian coast. Recommended by a local, I couldn't find better dishes of the highest quality. Superlative Scialatelli and Pezzogna, without forgetting the octopus with very soft and delicious potato puree. Mrs. Maria Pia and her great staff with the chef Salvatore are certainly the protagonists of this quality of our beautiful country. Thanks and congratulations.
Be the first to Replysplendid and abundant dishes
had dinner two evenings because the first course was so abundant that we had to postpone the second to the next day and they were very kind to cancel the dish to return

Perfect place for a quiet meal. The servers are attentive, the plates are copious, the products are fresh. The pizza and fish were perfect
Be the first to ReplyA special experience
We have to thank Mrs. Giulia who accompanied us! We had a spectacular experience: vegetables like you can't find anywhere along the coast, scamorza with lemon, homemade scialatielli with seafood with lots of fish including crab and scampi and fabulous Sorrento-style ndunderi with tomato. Very good desserts. The annurca apple babร and the homemade Neapolitan cassata were delicious. Excellent value for money The waitress/owner is delicate and kind. An experience to be repeated and absolutely recommended
Be the first to ReplyExpensive and nothing special..
The place itself isn't bad either. The owner is a little cold while the rest of the staff are very courteous. We got some pizzas which weren't bad but nothing exceptional. The surprise was the dish for my son. We ordered a breaded chicken cutlet with some tomatoes next to it, seasoned with oil and salt to accompany it. The dish was good but I was charged 16 euros for the cutlet and, separately, 6 euros for the tomato. A small bottle of coke costs 4 euros (the stuff you usually pay for in a liter). I felt cheated... a very simple dish, for a 5 year old child, paid more than a spaghetti with clams. Ah, then at the end the usual surprise on the bill: 2.50 cover charge each. Inconceivable but this tax, which we now find everywhere, must at least be shown on the menu. In total we spent 52 euros for 2 pizzas and a chicken cutlet. No wine, appetizers, desserts or coffee... In short, it's up to you... hoping to at least be of help to someone to avoid it.

Fresh ingrediรซnts, homemade pasta and pizzaโs, friendly service at a good price. We ate here several times during our holiday. Would recommend this place ๐
Be the first to ReplyI come back here after 10 years and I don't leave as satisfied as I was 10 years ago!
After many years I returned to Botte a Minori where I had enjoyed myself many times. To tell the truth, apart from the correctness and professionalism of the owner and the staff, I was disappointed and I won't go back because you can't spend 126 euros for two appetizers (good), 2 portions of scialatielli with seafood and a dessert and 1 limoncello. With house wine (the least expensive bottle was on the menu for 25 euros!) All good, of course, but outside the standards. It's probably my problem, whoever wants to go there and then will realize. I like going around but I don't like feeling "plucked", perhaps the friendly owner, tired after 35 years in business, should think about it. In the meantime, thank you for your attention, I don't want to discredit anyone, but I would only like to point out my lack of satisfaction. Enrico Giani from Gubbio.

Excellent in every way. Setting - value for money - atmosphere - welcome. It is best to book in the evening. I recommend it to you.

Random discovery. Very good pizzas and fast service despite the crowds in the restaurant. Wide choice for meals. To discover and for all budgets!

The first course was decent, while the second left a lot to be desired, swordfish without any flavour. High price compared to the dishes.

Be the first to ReplyA proper seaside restaurant
Finding ourselves in Minori, a beautiful town on the Amalfi coast, we decided to return after years to this small place, a little lower than street level and in an inconspicuous position. We remembered a small but welcoming internal environment and we found this confirmed. We confess that at the beginning the intense activity as a pizzeria, even for takeaway, left us a little perplexed, but a look at the menu immediately reassured us. We started with a sautรฉ of mussels and clams and grilled octopus on potato cream, followed by linguine with scampi and paccheri with clams, courgettes and prawns: all well-prepared dishes, but what is really surprising these days is the trattoria-like quantity once upon a time. Let's be clear: a quantity that does not harm the quality and that you would not expect both in relation to the price and knowing the "habits" of restaurants in seaside places. Even if we wanted we couldn't go any further. Precise and friendly service and good wine list, especially local wines with average mark-ups. We hope that this trattoria maintains this standard even in the summer season, because it is also in this way - without frills but effective - that Italian tradition is defended.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent flavors, friendliness, feeling at home pampered
Perfect from all points of view, excellent dishes, welcoming environment, very kind Maria Pia and Mimmo always attentive to pamper you, highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyThere will be more visits here, superb!
Little cozy and familiar! The owner's wife cooks and the son serves. It should be added that the son also painted the hundreds of paintings that adorn the walls. Best food in Minori, the further from the promenade the better it seems. We ate real authentic Neapolitan pizzas baked in a wood oven and fantastic pasta! The house red is awesome and only costs โฌ10.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely frustrating experience...
Unfortunately, this experience was a low point for us in Minori. We were strolling around the town of Minori...and decided to get some dinner here. As we walked down the stairs to the seating area, we asked a staff member about an available table. We were told it would be about a ten-minute-wait, for a table for two (which we were fine with). After about a twenty-minute-wait...we were then seated in the upper part of the outdoor eating area, next to the large wall, just below the fenced sidewalk. We were given menus and glasses of water...just like the couple next to us (that were seated about the same time). After we were seated...we waited for THIRTY-FIVE minutes trying to the get the different wait staff's attention (just like the couple next to us). No one ever came back to our area to ask if we wanted something to drink, or appetizers, or anything of the sort. Maybe the restaurant team missed the fact that they were seating in that area...but being ignored multiple times by different staff members was quite frustrating and disappointing. We ended up leaving there and having dinner at another restaurant nearby...that was actually appreciative of their customers and cared about the overall customer experience. If I could give this ZERO stars...I would have
Be the first to ReplyBest traditional pizza in Minori
We visited Minori in February 2023 for my birthday, and being out of season, there werenโt that many places open in the evening. After a bit of looking around, we found La Botte, tucked away in a corner. There was a queue outside, with locals ordering takeaway pizzas, and thatโs always a good sign. We were welcomed by the owner, who is such a nice man. The pizzas were out of this world. The toppings are simple and traditional and thatโs all we were after. The prices are more than correct and the service was quick (again, out of season). Do I recommend this place? Absolutely! And remember, if youโre going to La Botte at the height of the season, be prepared to wait a little. Youโre on holiday so relax and enjoy a proper Neapolitan pizza
Be the first to ReplyWeโd go back in an instant
OMG, my wife Karen and I returned THREE times, the food was soooooo AMAZING!!! We couldnโt get enough of the traditional atmosphere, service and location. We absolutely loved our waiter/co-manager Mimmo is beyond knowledgeable, kind and treated us like family. In fact, his wife (chef-manager) and daughter (co-manager), gave the impression we were in their home. They were also adaptable to our dietary needs and never hesitated to make suggestions. We would recommend anything on their menu. We would go back in an instant.

This place feels very authentic to the area and the food is delicious and well-priced. The service is on the slow side but the servers are very nice.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect!!!
This family run restaurant, is the pearl of Minori!! We have visited this restaurant two times already and both time were perfect! The food and service are just as you would expect from the family restaurant, personal, and with love. The food is out of this world, if you are in the mood for the traditional Italian cuisine. If you get sat inside the restaurant, take a moment to admire the interior designed and the amazing paintings of the local artists Giuseppe, who also works in the family own restaurant. Perfect place to enjoy your evening will visiting the amazing Minori!!!

We visited la Botte last week. Staff was so welcoming. They've let my little boy make his own pizza which was the highlight of our holiday. Little things matter in life. Pizza, wine, calamari, zucchini all superb. Oh and the chips. To die for!! I love trattoria interior. Just gorgeous. Grazie mille!! We will be back.
