Rolling Oven Lexington Reviews
First timers .
.. relaxed, fun, family vibe ... superior staff and friendly person drawing beer ... appetizers and beer were awesome ... fat sticks were delicious... spinach artichoke dip was one of best dips I've had .... great beer, excellent food, and cool environment.
The pizza tasted good.
That's all that is good about rolling oven. Went to mirror brewing and rolling oven on a recommendation while visiting from out of town. After waiting 45 minutes, only one of our two pizzas came out and we were told that the other would be out shortly. After waiting 15 more minutes, I went in and asked about it. Come to find out the other pizza wasn't even made. No apology. No explanation. Waited another 10 minutes. I shouldn't have left a tip before service was even provided. Based on the service I wouldn't have left a tip. I wouldn't visit here again and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Only in town a few days and frustrated that this is a place we ended up.

I absolutely love Mirror Twin Brewing and Rolling Oven
I absolutely love Mirror Twin Brewing and Rolling Oven Pizza. The drinks are always fabulous, with options for even a non-beer lover! Both businesses have absolutely AMAZING staff - and I have to call out John Michael, who is one of my favorite bartenders in Lexington. For Summer 2024, MTB has a lemonade/grapefruit on tap that is reminiscent of a Steigl Radler but BETTER. Def get in and try it ASAP! At Rolling Oven I LOVE the chorizo potato pizza and arugula salad. YUM!

The Rolling Oven knows how to do pizza! And veggies! The wait for your food is worth it because it comes sizzling out of the wood-fired oven. Ingredients taste fresh and delicious! At this location, you order at the register and the food comes to you. The employees are AWESOME. Would go back again and again!

Normally we always have a great experience at Rolling Oven, but a bit different tonight. Ordered the Prosciutto and Pineapple pizza to try something a bit different. There was ZERO prosciutto on the pizza. Small amount of pineapple and less than ten pieces of green onion on the whole pizza. Basically, this was a $28 cheese pizza. Was it because I chose to use one of my many accumulated rewards tonight or just a bad night?

Stopped at Mirror Twin brewing and was so happy to see food served! The pizzas all looked amazing but I had the Classico sandwich! So delicious and great price as well! Will definitely be back on my next roadtrip!
Love their pizzas.
It is a fun place to eat and have a cold beer. The pizza is delicious and they have a great menu.
Have loved the food in the past.
Tonight it was not great. We ordered the chicken Gouda pizza and the meat pizza. Both were over cooked. My husband and I chose to split the chicken Gouda pizza. Nothing in the description said spicy except the hot honey, so we asked for that on the side so he could put it on his pizza and I could have mine without the spiciness. I took one bite and it was definitely spicy without the honey! Please edit the description of your pizza! I could not eat this at all even without the hot honey! I ate a slice of my son's meat pizza instead and it was okay. Definitely would not order either again though. We have eaten here and had good pizza, so I will go back and try again, just not either of these pizzas.
I was thoroughly disappointed when I received my pizza.
I paid a little over $17 for this small not personal size pizza. The crust alone was about an inch to an inch and half. The brussel spouts were a dusting, not really a topping. If they were not inside a brewery, I'm sure they would be out of business.

We've gotten the hot honey garlic chicken twice now and it's aaaaamazing! They got some tasty looking options we'll have to try next time. We ordered ahead and it was ready for us when we arrived to pick it up.

Picked up two pizzas to take to a friend's home to watch Breeders Cup. The Potato Chorizo Pizza was good, and better than the pizza Bianca. These are relatively thin pizzas, not particularly to my liking. Just okay. 110
Delicious pizza! Customizable, filling, fresh, flavorful.
It's what you want and really that straight forward :)
Great pizza.
I LOVE wood fired pizza and this is probably in my top 5. Always inspiring as a home pizza chef. I love their menu.
Delicious pizza with a lot of great selections.
I usually order them while at Mirror Twin Brewery. The ordering system is great. You can either go up to the counter and order or order directly from the table with the QR code and punch in your table number. I've tried the potato chorizo and prosciutto speciale and both have been excellent, and the crust was nice and thin. if you are in the mood for pizza and beer, Rolling Oven and Mirror Twin are definitely a good choice.
The food never misses.
If it's crowded when you get there, take a breath and know that it's for a reason. These people are pros and will get to you quickly and with a smile.

Alex was our server and she is AMAZING! She was smiling the whole time she was stressed out w 8 people in line and her service was served up w a SMILE and a level of professionalism I admire. Great food too!
This is a strong addition to Mirror Twin Brewing.
I love Wood fired pizza and Rolling Oven has a good dough recipe that holds up the the fire. Good selection of pizza toppings as well. However the star of the menu is the potato skinssssssss!!!! Excellent after hiking all day or just brewery hopping. Orders so take awhile so expect to drink a beer or two before the pizza is ready but if you aren't in a hurry, then it may be worth the wait!

I first noticed them from being at festivals and just places they took the food truck. Then went to the location in Mirror Twin Brewing starting last year. It's pretty cool, they always seem to have unique kinds and combinations that other pizza places don't. I give 4 or 5 stars as far as going to get a whole pizza at regular price for take out. Just went back for Lexington Pizza week and got a Pumpkin pizza special for Pizza Week, remember having a pumpkin pizza there last fall (not in pizza week). This was my first time eating there with friends, was pretty decent. I have to complain about the serving size. It was only 2 small slices of pizza. Other places I went to for Pizza Week gave me much more pizza for the $6. Split a Smores pizza with friends too, that was good. Wasn't too crowded this time, though I've def seen Mirror twin pretty full before. Pizza Week pizza I'd give only 2 stars due to the small serving. But this review is for my other experiences here too. Good pizza place!! Just don't go there for the pizza week special.
Great for appitizers, not actual pizza
The cheesesticks were some of the best I have had. The loaded potato pizza was one of the blandest and overdone pizzas I have had. Customer Service was definitely lacking as well.
