The ambience sets the mood nicely, but unfortunately, fruit flies decided to join the party. Nonetheless, the staff is incredibly friendly. Weekday afternoons seem to be less crowded, making snagging a table easy, but reservations might be wise for busier times. I tried their house salmon, a delightful local catch served simply as smoked salmon. The dips accompanying it elevated the flavor beautifully. Mimosas were a perfect match, as I suspected. I've heard rave reviews about their French toast too, so that's on my list for next time!

Deducting one star only bc it's so annoying to get a reservation here and impossible on a Sunday to walk in at actual lunchtime. Otherwise, gotta say that despite the sceneiness, Sadelle's is impossible to walk into for a reason! The salads are perhaps the platonic ideal of salads -- ingredients are all fresh, delicious and somehow chopped to precisely the right size to mix all together perfectly. The Cobb is one of my favorite lunches in the city, period. And the pancakes -- which somehow never show up on best in the city lists -- are, well, among the best in the city! Crunchy griddled butter flavor on the outside, fluffy and light on the inside, not heavy....perfect, from a pancake connoisseur! The pigs in blankets are also amazing on every level and a must order every time. I keep doing Resy alerts (which do often work out) for weekend brunches here for a reason!
Be the first to ReplyYes to the bagels and lox.
The french toast is good for all, especially kids. Yum to the grapefruit cocktail- sliced grapefruit with a sugary delight on top. Service is prompt and friendly. The ambiance wins- exposed brick, flowers, natural light. Book early because this place fills up on the weekend.

Our favorite breakfast spot! Simple, cozy ambiance that leaves the French toast and smoked salmon as the main focal points of the meal. Service is always quick. We are impressed every time we come here! Cannot recommend the French toast enough. It's absolutely heavenly!!!

Visiting from Florida and going intoSOHO to shop so my daughter researched restaurant places to eat. We chose Sadelle's because we both like smoked fish and wanted to treat ours. We recently were elsewhere for it so were wanted to compare places. The interior is upscale and lovely, service was fine. We ordered the Nova lox for 2 and bagels. It came with sliced cucumbers, capers and cream cheese as well. Sesame bagels were lightly toasted. This is the first time I have had capers with the fish nd found it to be a very nice addition. The cucumbers were a nice palate cleanser. The fish however was a little disappointing. I understand it should be sliced on the thin side but being able to see thru the slices was quite disappointing. Would I return, Maybe but not for the fish. The other offering looked interesting, so maybe.

Sadelle's is super hyped up and I think while it's not bad, it definitely doesn't live up to the hype. The ambiance is very nice and the service is great. The food was good, but not anything special. They're famous for their French toast, but I honestly found it to be extremely greasy and heavy, I wasn't a fan. The pancakes were pretty good but kinda dry. I didn't try the bagel tower but my dad thought it was just alright, nothing special. Overall, I would probably come back for the vibes and probably order some different things to try.

Literally the most PERFECT place to have brunch in Soho on the weekend! It has a cute little vintage feel I loved how you were also able to watch them make their bagels in the center of the restaurant. I was able to make a reservation in advance online for a Saturday and I would highly recommend doing so because this place was packed! The food is incredible and I loved the variety on the menu. The only downside is the seating arrangement. As a party of 2 we were stuck in a corner with an extremely small table that barely fit the 2 dishes we ordered and looking around it was the same case for other parties of 2. As for the food, we ordered the smoked scottish tower and the leo omelette. I loved how thinly sliced the smoked salmon was and just because it's thinly sliced doesn't mean there wasn't a big portion of it!! Both the tower and omelette had a hefty amount of salmon and it was delicious!
Be the first to ReplyThe food was good but the overall experience wasn't great.
For the prices, it wasn't worth it. Our table felt squished and waiters walking behind the chair kept bumping into my sister. Also there were many flies flying around which is very unappetizing. We even found one in the sauce that came with our pigs in a blanket. We notified the server who took it and brought us a new dish but I would have expected the side to have been comped or something, but they still charged us full price. Pretty gross experience. Prices weren't worth the experience

Don't forget to try the smoked salmon bagel and the French toast. Despite being incredibly busy, the service was also good. Will be visiting soon.

One of my fav brunch spots like EVERYTHING is amazing the food is good, the vibes are amazing and I am going to come back to try their french toast too! The salmon was so good. Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance!
Be the first to ReplyOrdered eggs any way which comes with potatoes and a bagel.
Nothing special about the dish. Service was subpar; ordered an americano as soon as I got seated and they forgot about it so I got my meal and still waited for my coffee. Half way to through i reminded my waiter and instead just ordered coffee. It tasted burnt- finished it either way. Many tables around me ordered the bagel salmon tower so maybe that's what keep this place busy but coffee was bad and my dish was average not worth they hefty price in my opinion

Strolling along in SoHo - NYC - I was asking - Where is the best brunch , a great bagel(gluten free to be exact) and 8 out of 10 New Yorkers said #sadelles so do the math 80% of 8.8. Million that's a loyal following . Anyway - I went and I can see why. This cute cafe with fantastic friendly staff --- and my Salmon Beni - awesome !!! I am coming back !! Cheers

Great blueberry pancakes, although the portions were a bit excessive. The service is amazing and I became friends with one of the waiters.

My daughter was so excited and looking forward to having brunch here but was quite disappointed in the end. Having reservations, we were seated timely at 8:45 am on a Sunday. My daughter had the salmon bagels which she claimed were just okay. My husband had the French toast but didn't care for it as it was too oily. The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy but it seemed to be deep fried and was very oily. I had the blueberry pancakes which came with 3 large pancakes. The blueberries, which were cooked in the pancakes, were a bit tart for me. Although service lacked a bit, we didn't mind as the shops nearby didn't open until 11:00 and we didn't have anywhere else to go.I totally agree with the other yelper ... if you're going for only the food, you may be disappointed.

The service was nice and i got a little candle for my birthday. When it comes to the food though, the saw along bagel i ordered was the absolute opposite of flavor. However the tomato soup and grilled cheese was so good. It was nice inside and cozy. Great for taking pictures.

Great friendly, accommodating, and timely service with a solid ambiance indoors. Got the tower in which all the options from the smoked salmon to the whitefish salad tasted amazing. In addition, the bagels, especially when freshly warmed up, were perfectly soft with a crust. The surprise of it all though was the French toast. Honestly was expecting the fish to be the highlight, but it was overshadowed as soon as I bit into the French toast. Super thick cut slices with an almost brรปlรฉe-like toasted crust and a custardy interior. Took me a while to figure it all out as I thought it was stuffed but no, it was just that good. Prices were reasonable for what it was but definitely on the higher end. Would highly recommend.

Went to the Vegas location and knew wanted to try New York. Had the salmon tower and my party had the tuna sandwich and Benedict. We also had a bottle of champagne (celebrating a birthday) which was delicious and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I would definitely go again! Try to make reservations if possible as it gets super busy.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful aesthetic, great service and ambiance.
Excellent dishes. I will be back to try some more dishes and see if they remain as perfectly executed.

Summary - if you like food more than vibes, please go elsewhere. There are so many actual bagel place that's worth the money and time to come here. Food - at best they are edible. Consider this actually bagel, I don't know. Bagel is small and more like a flat bread. At most you can get like 4 bites and for $25, I don't know what to say. Bagel shouldn't be that expensive. Moving to Brussels sprout, they are actually decent. Also the wait for the food is sooooo long. Ambiance - this place is crowded and long wait without reservation. Service is very good. But seriously took 30 minutes to get a few bagels. Overall - not worth the hype.

Everything is delicious. If you have the opportunity to go, you won't regret it.

AND SO WORTH IT! The French toast was the best...the green chili sauce that we asked for as an extra went great on egg dishes. Oh and the Pigs in a Blanket were so good!! The service was GREAT! The atmosphere is spacious and airy. This was...as my picky 13yr old said...a 10/10!!
Be the first to ReplyThe food, ambiance and service were all amazing.
I highly recommend coming here for brunch on any day. If you have a chance request for Jeff - an amazing server, witty and a great conversationalist. If it's your first time I would try the tower to find what you may or may not like. So for the next time that you go, you already know. Definitely have the French toast - one it's big second the outside is crispy while the inside is warm and soft and third it may be big but it's so good you could go for another. This place is worth coming back regularly.

The Highlights- trendy brunch, strong cocktailsReservations Highly Recommended. Sadelle's Soho is that girl and she knows it. Brunch is always booked weeks in advance and a lengthy wait for walk-in's. Mimosa's were an 80/20 mix (iykyk) - solid start. I ordered the Soho Omelette (4/5) and a side of sausage (5/5), both were great. Breakfast potatoes were a miss but the Crispy Latkes were such a hit they didn't get a photo op- would recommend. Overall Experience- Positive. Sadelle's has locations in other major cities throughout the country that I'll definitely visit going forward.
