Visited here winter 2023.
It was nice being back here, since my last visit with my mom in 1992! This time, I was back with my hubby as I was showing him the Scottsdale area for his first time. We shopped together at first, then we split-up so he could go for a walk. I browsed the shops for quite awhile, choosing my gift and clothing selections. Plenty of shops in this area for souvenir, and gifts needs.

Old town Scottsdale Great area for shopping and eating. Definitely go to the Sugar Bowl! Parking this time of year is fine. Many galleries and just local shopping.
Be the first to ReplyOld Town Scottsdale A Nice Place To Visit
Old Town Scottsdale consists of several streets of art shops, galleries, eating establishments and Indian/South western-type shops. Although it was actually raining the day we went there, we enjoyed popping in and out of the various shops and galleries and enjoyed a delicious waffle bowl at Jeni's Ice Cream Shop. Lunch at The Herb Box was very good as well.

Nice tourist place. Free street parking. The guacamole, Pico, salsa and chips was amazing at loco Patron. nice happy hour very inexpensive drinks
Be the first to ReplyNot super interesting
Meh. Basically just a cluster of stores that sell either southwestern jewelry, tacky touristy trinkets, or cheesy clothing. I’d say skip it unless you’re really into southwestern jewelry.

Very cool place to spend some time! Lots of shops to browse! Great restaurants and bars! Parking is accessible on streets. Public restrooms in center of town were unique. We visited during the week so there were not that many people but I am sure on weekends the place is packed! Watch out for the people with the serums and moisturizers that "will make you younger and take your wrinkles away"! They are relentless and the same as the foreigners that run the kiosks in the malls!
Be the first to ReplyMuseums, and stores to walk around town to see.
There is so much to do in Scotsdale, Arizona. An Olive oil store, gellatios and plenty of food too. Visited the Little Red Schoolhouse and Art Museum.
Be the first to ReplyGreat time in Old Town Scottsdale!
Great place to spend a few hours walking around to enjoy boutique shops, restaurants, bars and souvenirs as well. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the authentic western area as well. Something for everyone here and must do when in Sedona.
Be the first to ReplyNice Old Town feel, but too much of the same merchandise in shops
I love going to an Old Town on vacation, but it seems that the merchandise in a lot of the shops is touristy junk that no one looks forward to receiving. On the other hand, there are a lot of nice Native American shops with individuality. As in any tourist location, stuff is overpriced, then they offer 20-70% off. Sometimes you see a real bargain, but for the most part, not.

Very nice small museum on the history Scottsdale Very interesting and informative worth the visit to better see how Scottsdale came to be
Be the first to ReplyLoved it!
Three of us visited Old Town on Feb. 3rd when it hosted El Parada Del Sol Parade. Lots of horses and marching bands! This was followed by a "Street Fair." The streets were blocked off from traffic and there were food trucks, Mexican dancing performances, beer tents and several outdoor live music venues. LOTS of people walking, shopping, eating, dancing and just enjoying themselves! There are lots of interesting shops, some with museum quality wares. There are lots of restaurants and cafes, most with outdoor dining. I found Old Town to be tony and upscale, while at the same time, comfortable and laid-back, with an Old West vibe. I would have loved to have spent more time here!
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointing
The shops were super disappointing even on 5th Avenue. Reminded me of cruise ship shopping. All the shops sold the same kitschy ultra western themed stuff. There were maybe a couple shops with a few cute clothes but overall not on par with other shopping districts I have visited in other tourist towns.
Be the first to ReplyConvenient for shopping and dining
We chose to fly down, take a Lyft to the hotel and not get a rental car. Good choice! Downtown old town has hotels and a lot of restaurants that you can walk to if you stay downtown. Old town has a lot of galleries and other shopping options (if you are into that). Overall however, we loved walking everywhere and only used Lyft to and from the airport.
