Fantastic Sunday Brunch
Sexy Fish is one of my favourite restaurants, offering something for every occasion – from the quick lunch menu to the weekday tasting menu. The Sunday brunch, however, is truly outstanding. The food selection is incredible, the quality is excellent, and it’s amazing value for money. The atmosphere is vibrant with great music and a stylish vibe. On my recent visit, the experience was made even more special thanks to Nicolay , Filipe, Hesham, Giorgia, and Matthew, Davide – such a fantastic team! From the warm welcome at the start to the friendly farewell from the reception and door staff, everything felt seamless and thoughtful. Sexy Fish never disappoints – highly recommended!
Brilliant service
Had such a fantastic experience at sexy fish, came with friends at nearly 8 months pregnant and they couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful. From seating us early, to help with the menu and drinks, to checking I was ok in the restaurant, amazing service I was so impressed and will definitely be back again.
Extremely overpriced and bad food
We booked a table for eight and were required to commit to a minimum spend of £100 each, which we reluctantly agreed to. With that price, our expectations were high—we anticipated a great evening with good food and lively music. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short. The food was disappointing: the sushi was basic, the fish wasn’t particularly fresh, and overall, it did not justify the cost. The music was uncomfortably loud, especially given that the restaurant was half empty, and instead of creating a party atmosphere, it just felt forced. Overall, it was a big and very expensive disappointment

Fresh fish and gorgeous cocktails
Unique interior and delicious food. Cocktails menu is full of drinks, they have specials too. Great place for a date or meeting with friends. Will come back.

Too expensive
Sexy Fish definitely delivers on style and quality — the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is vibrant and upscale. However, I found it to be way too expensive for what you get. While the experience is enjoyable, the prices don’t quite match the portion sizes or overall value. Great for a special occasion if you're ready to splurge, but not somewhere I'd visit regularly.
Great energy and food
A great place with wonderful sushi- loud and fun! The ambience was great- they had a saxophonist and drummer playing music- so much energy and fun. Perfect place to go if you’re looking for a lively evening!

Do not eat, but that because sexy fish is gonna be something fabulous. I know it's just a basic restaurant. Nothing to look forward to so if you wanna go go to the one in Miami is really great bouncers really nice. The atmosphere is cool. They do have a lounge at the bottom, but besides that it's OK going to the one in Miami instead .

I went to sexy fish about eight years ago and had a great experience. Went back a few months ago and was disappointed. Thought the food was overpriced and the portions were rather small. We did order multiple dishes, but still found them to be small for the price. The weight staff was amazing. There were so many people working the evening we went. We never had an empty glass and we were asked multiple times if we wanted more alcohol. The interior has a super fun and lively vibe. I would recommend trying it at least once.

No amount of fancy bathroom decor can make up for how overpriced and subpar this establishment is. * Cocktails: For $20 a drink, you'd expect at least basic customizations, but apparently, that's too much to ask. I requested a simple liquor swap and was met with a flat-out "no customizations." Adding insult to injury, the cocktails are served half-full. Absolute blasphemy. * Shrimp Appetizer: Completely forgettable. The shrimp isn't even properly tossed in the sauce. A quick trip to Nobu would teach them what a proper shrimp dish should look--and taste--like. * Eel Sauce & Rolls: The eel sauce was overly smoky and unpleasant, and the shrimp roll includes asparagus--an odd and off-putting choice that makes me question the entire menu. Worse still, despite calling their sushi "maki style," they refuse to wrap the nori on the outside, sticking only to rice. And yes, once again, no customizations allowed. This place is all style and no substance--a cheap, spray-painted gold facade masquerading as luxury. I won't be fooled again. Do yourself a favor: skip this pretentious excuse for a restaurant and spend your money at one of London's countless truly amazing dining spots. Save yourself the disappointment.
Come her for a good time and expect to pay for it.
I've been multiple times now... lunch, dinner, fixed menu... it's all been fantastic. Service is prissy. But expected given the area. It's the place to see and be seen. Cocktail menu is A+ and ambiance is suave. It is not "casual" by any means. Get dressed up, have a killer cocktail and some really great/fresh seafood. It's a special occasion place.

The salt and pepper squid was delicious, definitely get it to share with the table. The yellowtail mandarin was so bright and refreshing. I regret getting the soft shell crab & corian - it tasted funky? I should have gotten the the signature maki instead. Oh well, a good reason to go back!

Too trendy for us at this point in our life (early -mid 30s). It was so loud that we barely talked to each other all night. Used to be so into spots like that but wow it's just too much. We could not hear our various servers who worked us and it seemed to get annoying for everyone involved. There were a lot of "WHAT" going on. Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful - the bar especially. and the food is stunningly plated...but it was just a bit uncomfortable. Like everyone there was only there to be seen or see celebrities (and yes there was a celebrity there that evening). Portions were small, and because of my stomach condition there were not many options for me particularly. I ended up with two lobster dishes that were both over $40 each and left hungry even after dessert. But I will say dessert(we chose three ice creams) and our drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is also a bit odd. I wore a brown halter midi dress that was backless (very 90s) and somehow I ended up feeling both underdressed and overdressed at the same time. I got some looks (mostly from other women) and I'm not sure if they were positive or negative. There are photos so you can see. I will say the staff were all very sweet and patient with the noice - again they too seemed a little bit annoyed with it too. I had recently had foot surgery before our trip and it was the first night I was able to wear heels (doc's orders) so I did because it was my honeymoon and it did not go well. I ended up bleeding and needing to go to the bathroom to rewrap it. The bathroom is STUNNING, but down a vey long flight of stairs. A very kind staff member let me use the wheelchair lift and patiently waited on me to wrap my foot, and se the bathroom (it has to be operated by staff) and it was another male staff member who took a million photos of us by the bar after we were finished. Very very kind of them. Also the security guard at the door was so sweet and personable and charming, give him a raise! He thought my husband and I were "so cute" in our matching camel coats (unintentional lol) and recommended Bacchanalia for after dinner drinks. We were headed there anyway but he didn't have to do that and it was quite kind of him to do so! I would be interested to experience this for lunch on a weekday and see if those pain points are eradicated during daylight hours or not. All in all I would recommend it to anyone young or into really trendy spots but may not to someone who likes a more intimate or quite atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary and everything was absolutely splendid. The ambiance was beautiful, quaint and very comfortable. We made a 2-week long trip out to Europe and UK and this dinner was the #1 experience in my book. Would like to thank our server, Muhammad, who was very informative and detailed with his service. He described everything well, answered our questions, and made sure that we were taken care of. Our Sommelier, Matthew, described each pairing beautifully and each one complimented each courses amazing. Surprisingly, I've never had a sake pairing before, and the Jummai was enjoyed really well with the tomatoes! The main course and pairing right before dessert was the star of the show for me. The Sauternes with the dessert course was the perfect finish. I work in fine dining in San Francisco, California and everything was on point in this restaurant. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we stepped out the door. The price point of the menu was outrageously agreeable too. I hope the standards of service remain consistent until my next visit!

If you've been to Sexy Fish Miami and are expecting the same experience please just cancel your reservation now. This place is in no way, shape, or form similar to the experience i have had at the Miami location. On top of that reservation times don't seem to matter as they seat you whenever they feel ready. Also if you are wondering how you should dress because the Miami location is very strict, you could wear a t shirt and shorts and they wouldn't care. 2 stars because the bartenders were great.

Went to Sexy Fish to celebrate a birthday and had a great dinner. Excellent food in a trendy, energetic atmosphere. We had the Sekushi menu and the dishes were terrific with the Crispy Duck & Watermelon and Wagyu Gyoza especially standing out.
Sexy Fish Experience
Great experience at Sexy Fish…we truly enjoyed our time and were looked after by Paulo. Highly recommended. Excited for their new opening in Dubai soon!
Sexy Fish Sunday Brunch
We went to Sexy Fish for the Sunday brunch menu, which was amazing! There was a great selection of sushi, sashimi, ceviche, and more available to choose yourself at the unlimited Sushi Bar. The mains chosen off the menu were cooked perfectly and the starters and sides were great too. The desserts were beautiful and really finished off our brunch well. This is a great restaurant and I would recommend the Sunday brunch menu to everyone to be able to get to try a wide range of the Sexy Fish menu for a reasonable price. The service was fantastic - special mention to Gaetano and Samir.
The £32 set menu
We met another couple and arrived early so had.a drink and cocktails in the bar area. The waitress was excellent and the cocktail very good and sensibly priced. We chose from the £32 lunch menu. The Tempura Prawn starter was very good. The Grilled Sea Bass mains was good , but then it’s a pretty plain dish. The also served a soup a a short vegetable drink. We chose a glass of Chablis at £9 as bottles of white wine start at £90! Our table waiter was excellent. However the hostess showing us to the table was snippy. She didn’t like that we asked for a different table to the the one she wanted us to have. She wanted to place us in an area with other full tables and we asked, and got? A nice quiet table away from the others. The doctor is excellent, most of the staff very good and the food we had good, although we did not choose complex dishes, so difficult to get wrong.
Just okay
This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I was here to celebrate my husbands birthday. Although the food was okay, the attitude of the hostess initially attending to us was not that great.. she was quite rude and was not very happy to attend to our request for an additional dish of food.. I will definitely not be dining at sexy fish again.

Was amazing, Paulo and Ling were incredible - the food and experience was extremely worth the visit. Starters mains and desert did not disappoint!!! 10/10!!!
Disappointed and left hungry. Terrible service
Went here for a birthday celebration. Let’s just start with the service we were pit in a small table very close and cramped but this was fine. Our server came over and o explained I had dietary requirements which she noted and suggested food for. When the food arrived it didn’t fit the dietary requirements and had to be sent back. Meanwhile my friend had all her food come. Where we left we had to ask the wrong food to be taken off the bill rather than it automatically being done. They be e brought out my birthday dessert or made a fuss who b is what normally happens: it was just overall disappointing. I had to go get food after as my friend had eaten. Not what you expect when our like £100+pp. I don’t feel there was any apologies for service or lack of. If anything I would stick to the Ivy or tattu. Very poor o think overall people are going here for pictures or to say they have been. Not worth it at all.
Left feeling quite robbed
Was one of my favourite restaurants in London, but last night , we went with our 2 children. We were aware of the 9pm no children rules, so booked for 6pm. I ordered a carafe of wine and still had two thirds of it left when they told us we had to get off our table, again this was fair enough as we knew someone else was booked to have our table, but they wouldn’t let us sit in the bar to finish our wine and wouldn’t give me a plastic cup to sit outside! So effectively 60 pounds worth of wine was wasted! The manager said he’d remove the wine from the bill, but didn’t and then to add insult to injury, they added £60 service charge!!! I did not feel happy paying this , as I wasn’t 100 percent happy with our evening, a tip should be reflected on how much you rate your experience, but sadly you feel forced into paying something you sanding want to! I work very hard , so £120 to me is a lot of money and unless I had a nice experience , i begrudge spending it. Left a bad taste in my mouth leaving there so won’t return in a hurry.

Sunday brunch DELICIOUS!
The all day brunch on Sundays is fabulous. Excellent food and service fun and efficient. We had a terrific waiter, Paolo, who was most accommodating and a great character.
worst night of my life.
the staff are all stuck up and rude. they’re really flippant with you but if you look white and rich i’m sure they’re lovely to you. definitely wouldn’t go there again. food takes so long to come out as well. and they basically give the best service to whoever is the richest. absolute joke. the crowd is okay - it’s more for older people.
Honestly worth the hype.
We had reservations for two on a Friday night and were seated promptly in the main room across from the DJ. This place is high energy and vibey so great for a date or with a group of friends on a celebratory occasion. The cocktails were excellent and the food was fantastic. The tuna tartare was fresh and had generous portions of tuna. But the star of the show was the sea bass. Probably the best sea bass I've had. Perfectly seasoned, crispy skin, juicy fish, perfectly cooked. Service was excellent as well and very attentive. The bar area was packed and we tried to stop by on another night for drinks but had a difficult time ordering so we left. Would 100% recommend this place for dinner. We spent around $400 total for a couple which included 4 cocktails.
Bad Experience in Sexy Fish London
Food was not warm serviced us. Disappointed. Staff were not kind. We would not go there again. You don’t get what you pay for. Waste.

Tacky busy expensive with rushed and very basic cocktails. Doorman rude and extremely self important. Such a shame people feel the need to treat one and other with no respect or kindness. Great Mayfair location but there are so many better places to visit in London, felt sexy fish has had its day.
Amazing Food & Décor/Overpriced
An amazing restaurant with an excellent menu for Sushi and steak lovers...I have to warn you, it is expensive and ranges up to 90 pounds per person. Service is great, and the food comes out quickly. portions are not big for the price paid, but you have to experience it once. Reservations are a must; the place is always sold out.
Surprisingly excellent
I went in thinking it would be over priced average food - a tourist / instagram trap- but left thinking the food was excellent, service excellent and the value for money excellent.

Where do I begin, if you want to take the Mrs for an overpriced, overhyped, lack-lustre evening then this is your spot. Paid circa £50 for 2 glasses of wine which were below average. Staff are annoying and entitled. Would not recommend.
Not a single thing to complain about
Ate at Sexy Fish London as part of a party of 5. Second time we’ve been here and our second visit was just as great as our first. Our server was fantastic, the atmosphere was lively and my wife, 24y/o daughter and two 80 year old grandmothers had a fantastic time with no complaints. There were three generations that made up this party of 5 and Sexy Fish hit a home run with each generation. Their execution of that evening’s dinner crossed an age spectrum spanning three generations was spot on. The drinks were fantastic, the appetizers, entrees and desserts were all prepared perfectly. Started with the Oscietra caviar and sushi, then moved on to steaks, lobster, ribs and then dessert. And not a single complaint. The amount of food served was perfect. The preparation and time in between courses were perfect. We never felt rushed. No one ever mentioned anything about our time spent at the table or that it was approaching 2 hours. I’ve spent quite a bit of time reading the reviews of this establishment, focusing on the negative ones and cannot endorse any of them as our interaction with this establishment left us wanting more and if we had more then 6 nights in London we would’ve definitely gone back. Sexy Fish isn’t cheap. It can be expensive. Our dinner for five including drinks approached £700 and for that kind of money you expect perfect execution. And that’s what we got. And therefore, not a single thing to complain about. Thank you Sexy Fish for living up to the hype I played up for the oldest generation at our table. I told them you were fantastic, and you were. Thank you for a perfect evening.

Atmosphere is great, wine list is very broad and rich, as for the food, the signature dishes are good, but the sushi could be much better, i wouldn’t recommend trying sushi if this is your first time there but stick with the other signature meals
Was recommended this place by a friend.
I wanted to cancel my booking because we had tea at the ritz prior but the fine print said we would have to pay 50 pounds a person to cancel so my mom and I decided to just show up. They were considerate about moving our appt time an hour earlier as we were exhausted and in a food coma from the ritz but when at table the waitress said we needed to order at least 6 dishes. I'm looking at the website and it doesn't disclose that there is a minimum dish order. It was enough that we had to pay to try to cancel but on top of that pay a cover fee and order an entire meal. Thank goodness the portions were small as we hate having food go to waste. If only I knew there was a minimum order amount I would've been better off paying the 80USD to cancel. The waitress was kind and understanding but when she grabbed the manager, he came at us as if we had done something wrong and only repeated what she said but in a more rude manner. Other than that, the ambiance was still nice and vibrant on a Monday night.

It's quite surprising that I haven't yet reviewed Sexy Fish, despite it being one of my go-to spots in Mayfair for the past few years. Sexy Fish has a unique atmosphere, it is vibrant and visually appealing. The setting itself contributes to the dining experience. However, this has as drawback that it sometimes attracts the typical influencer crowds and wannabes. But unlike many of these picture pretty places, the food here is actually quite good. I've tasted many of their fish and seafood dishes and they were all executed really well. In addition, recently I went with a friend who doesn't eat fish (I know!) and discovered that all of their meat dishes were impressive. Who would have thought! Overall, probably one of the better places in Mayfair to eat and be seen! Will go back!

Maybe our expectations were too high, but we left hungry and rather disappointed. London is filled with cuisine from around the world, and that includes some of the freshest and richest bounty of the oceans. Everything about this place felt as if they were trying to overcome the mediocrity of the food by creating an adventure and learning on the weird service.

Great ambience.
Terrific service. Everything we tried from sashimi, wagyu gyoza, nigiri were great. We had cheesecake for dessert and I highly recommend. This is a fun, lively, and entertaining spot for dinner.

I can't remember last time I wrote a bad review - first, I was very excited to try their tasting menu and was ok with paying USD365 UPFRONT on July 4rth (GBP284) for 2 people. That was for a reservation on July 10th. I unfortunately came down with a stomach bug and they weren't reimbursing, so my boyfriend went alone to at least not waste all the money. I was extremely upset when he was seated at the bar in the corner next physically very close to a woman who was also on her own as if this was a dating match or something - I'm not sure if she ended up paying on her own for her meal, but the fact that they didn't keep the seat open after having me pay for 2 people is really ridiculous. That said my boyfriend was very uncomfortable and we won't be back. Still extremely upset.

I went with a couple friends as it was suggested we try this place while in London. The drinks were good, and the food was pretty good. I had the caramelized black cod, and it was really good. My friends tried sushi, and the ribs, everyone liked those items. The service was horrible, our waiter was very rude and would never come to our table--even though he had tables right beside us and would constantly check on them. We would have to flag him down to get his attention. The music is SO LOUD, I wouldn't go there if you're expecting to have a conversation. It's also super dark inside, it gives night club vibes. It could be because we went later at night. Also, on your check they charge you a cover price to come in the building. Considering our bill was close to $400 I'm not sure why we'd need to pay almost $20 for entry. Overall, the experience wasn't that great.
Amazing experience!
We went there last minute and had the most amazing experience in London! We had Veronica as a waitress and what a service from her! Always ready to give advices and always with the smile! We were celebrating my best friend’s birthday and I want definitely Veronica as a waitress for my birthday too! Stunning service from Veronica!

Very Disappointed service terrible
My daughter booked Sexy Fish for my Birthday & highlighted this on booking. The place is lovely but the service is terrible, didn’t get asked if everything was ok, wrong drinks served we told them & they brought new drinks after we had finished our meal!!!!! Felt ignored. Food was nice nothing special came really quickly not a nice dining experience we were finished in 45minutes felt rushed!! Shocked it’s Michelin star does not deserve it. They never acknowledged my Birthday. Very disappointed with the service it was non existent. The wine prices are ridiculous I know it’s Mayfair but the prices are a rip off. Service charge 14% absolute joke we didn’t get sny service. Good music but that’s about it. The Ivy Asian in Manchester is so much better, food & service are excellent. We wont return.
Sexy vibes
Sexy fish is always a great experience! Have been for dinner and to the cocktail bar many times but the most recent time was one of the best Samir and Guilherme made my and my friends evening super special and we will be returning very soon. They definitely went above and beyond to provide us an excellent evening. Fantastic food (make sure you try the cheesecake), excellent service and great entertainment! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Xx

1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Sexy Fish London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Sexy Fish London!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
