Shoya Japanese Restaurant Melbourne Reviews from The Last Year
Authentic Japanese restaurant
If you go to Melbourne, you should definitely go here! This is a traditional Japanese restaurant. I think it's expensive at night, but they have set menus for lunch at around $40-70. I think they sometimes offer a limited edition degustation course that matches with alcohol at night. The sashimi and sushi are delicious, and you can enjoy a relaxing 'Japanese' taste. I think most of the chefs and staff are Japanese. The service is polite, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to both Japanese and foreigners. I think many people use it for entertaining. It's a popular restaurant, so reservations are required.

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
