Good views!
My husband and I wanted to see some good views so chose this bar as it was close to Aria where we were staying. The views were excellent, although it is a little challenging to get good photos due to the reflections. We had a good time, and the service was great.

The Waldorf Astoria Hotel Bar was a mixed bag for my wife and me. To begin with, we had a late change to our plans and decided maybe the bar would be a good option for an lighter meal in early evening. Sadly, there were no reservations available on their website in the week leading up to our visit. It was a Saturday evening, though, so that wasn't too surprising. Still, Waldorf concierge reached out ahead of our visit asking if we needed anything, so I decided to ask the concierge if there was anything they could do to help. Their answer: "No, sorry." Again - not terribly surprising. Then we arrived at the hotel on Saturday to check in. I strolled over to the bar to check out the nice (not amazing) view of the Strip. I asked the woman at the front whether there was any chance of getting a table around 7 p.m. that night. Her answer: "You'll have to ask the manager when they arrive, but it shouldn't be a problem." Huh. After roaming a little, my wife and I returned to our room about 5 and I went back to the bar to see if there was any chance or if I'd missed it. Their answer: "Yes, no problem at all! Two people for 7 p.m.? What's the name for the reservation?" When we arrived, we were given top-tier seats right at the window. No problem at all. I got a mixed drink - very tasty. Wife ordered a glass of wine, and waitress returned to explain that wine was not available, but maybe this one? I got the same mixed drink. Wife got the same wine ... but now was told that the replacement wine was *also* no longer available, so maybe this other other one? We also got wagyu tataki and tuna tartare. Tuna was VERY good. Tataki was under a little glass with smoke for presentation - that left the beef with an extremely overwhelming smoky flavor, drowning out most everything else. The lesson: Food is hit or miss. Drinks are good, but not always available. Service was kind, polite and helpful. And if you can't get a reservation, just show up anyway.

We got mocktails and churros for a little late night snack. The churros are great! They have different sauces you can dip them in. It's just a fun atmosphere honestly, sitting up at the top of the Waldorf looking out onto the strip while you eat. There was a longgg wait, but they were letting people sit in the chairs outside of the actual restaurant to accommodate more people and we got sat right away in that spot.

Went for a couple of cocktails before dinner. Pricey as you would expect, but drinks were superb, and service was good. Disappointing that more of the bar was not built around the north strip view. The few tables they had with the best view had reserved signs on them with nobody sitting there ?? Took our drinks to the lounge area which had better views and more space. Would return again for a couple drinks.

Alexis is uncontested - there is no place in Vegas where you be able to appreciate views, amazing food, top tier drinks (i recommend 'The Rivera') and the most beautiful smile.

We came to watch the sun set and the Las Vegas lights come alive. Sipping a few drinks before dinner next to the massive floor to ceiling windows afforded us a magnificent view. Anthony was our fantastic server and really made us feel welcome. We ordered the Spanish trail, Block 16, Atomic and Pear of Aces for cocktails. A hummus platter with pita bread and fresh vegetables to snack on were perfect before we were off for dinner. I suggest that you have reservations.
Be the first to ReplyGreat view but the cocktails were not as good as wished
The place is super chic. But to pay A LOT of money just to sit there and enjoy a cocktail which isn’t worth the price - yeah it's up to You. Besides the service is super slowy. They judge you before you step one food in. Trust me I really had tried better cocktails same “high-end” class for cheaper price and ans well better service..

We loved this place. It was pricey we had two drinks and two appetizers it was $100 before tip. However the drinks & Food were delicious and The view alone was worth the money. We called ahead for reservation and asked for a table near the window.
