Worst service I've got in my life, went to the hotel and wanted to park my car at the valet, he told me 50$ without tip, I told him I'll look for another spot and after not finding I came back, he told me now it's 60$ because of supply and demand, unfortunately I had to agree, when I came back to pick up my car the guy let me wait for 55 minutes until I got my car, I missed my reservations for dinner while he was there laughing, worst service experience I've ever had

The hotel it's self is in a great location, next to the beach. I think the staff was AMAZING and very accommodating. The food was also very good. We enjoyed the amenities after we checked out but valet charged us more which was not disclosed to us after checking out which I wish it was. The rooms could've been cleaned better as well. We upgraded our room but it wasn't very spacious. We went to the SLS Pool party but since we stayed there, they didn't charge us to get in which was a perk.
Tiny hot rooms in a great location
Great location in South Beach. Rooms are tiny, really tiny. Air conditioning is bad. Hard to keep the room in the low 70s even at lowest setting and maid turned off every day. Walking back into a 90+ degree room that never really cooled off made it difficult to fall asleep.
AC wasnt good
The AC didn't work the first day and we had to repeatedly call the front desk and noone ever showed up - I had to call a third time and speak to the manager and only then did someone come to the room and fix the AC. For a luxury hotel it wasnt very luxurious. Bikes were advertised so we tried them and they could barely move - super old and the seats wouldnt adjust. For the price I paid for 2 nights I was not impressed.

My stay at the hotel was so much fun. I was so hung over and the bartender Yessi was so sweet to me she recommended some yummy fish tacos and guacamole I said very that cured my hangover and then she proceeded to get me drunk again best time ever !! I love the beach here too!

Stayed here for 12 nights as 2 friends celebrating 30th birthdays and we had the best experience from start to finish! All of the staff are lovely and will do anything they can to help you. We were worried about the room size after reading the reviews, but we had a superior queen city view room and this had plenty of space for 2 girls and all our luggage (no hanging space and we lived out of our suitcases but we didnt mind and it really wasnt an issue). We were surprised to find out we had breakfast included in our stay and this was amazing, id recommend the pancakes with nutella and banana. All of the staff at breakfast were lovely! We chose this hotel because of the location and you can walk to ocean drive, lincoln rd, espanola way which are popular spots in 15 minutes. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around. The hotel is right on the beach and sun beds, towels and unberellas are included in your stay. The staff that work the pool/beach are also lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, I will definitely be back! I dont have a bad word to say about this hotel, or our experience. If you are considering booking this hotel, I would ignore all of the negative reviews and just book it!

Unless young and wanting to party....avoid at all costs
Booked the hotel through travel agent last year. Under the impression it was a 5* hotel, but it's anything but. On arrival given very small room (Room 1104) located next to the lifts! Aware we had a city view room, which didn't bother us, but appears all these rooms are located beside the lifts. Noise of lifts during night woke us up. Only room for small beside table on either side of queen sized bed. Only 2 small drawers, with one containing the safe, and the other a hairdryer and slippers. You would have to 'live' out of your suitcase. Next morning complained at Reception. Member of staff not very helpful, and kept saying what we'd booked! Eventually spoke to the Manager, who upgraded us to another room (Room 707), which faced the pool area and the beach. First day at pool, we found the empty hotel next door was having major construction work carried out. Very noisy, and far from relaxing. We weren't informed of this work by our travel agent. We I contacted them about it, they stated the company they booked the holiday through never informed them either! The Friday, Saturday and Sunday were also terrible at the pool area (and not because of construction work). The music at the pool area we were at was extremely loud. However, the other pool are (Hyde Beach) had even louder, thumping, music. Apparently, the Hyde Beach pool was having a 'pool party', where non-guests could pay for access. That pool area was jam packed with people. So guests (unless you wanted to stand in the Hyde Beach pool area), were limited to the 1 pool. We ended up going to the hotel our son was staying at, and spending the day at his pool area! On one of these days, we saw 2 teenage girls (who had come from the hotel) standing outside waiting for an Uber. It was 5pm, and one of them was paralytic, and could hardly stand without the support of her friend. Both rooms we were in had a mirror fitted on the ceiling above the bed, and apart from the usual alcohol, soft drinks and sweets available for guests to buy in their room, there were a number of items we've never seen in a hotel room before, which included CBD Oil and a number of sex-oriented products! We're no prudes, but found this unusual to say the least. Only book this hotel if you are under 25 years old and looking to party. Also don't book the most basic room. We certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, and neither would our son (who is only in his early 30s).
SLS nice experience
Nice staff and a nice comfy room. Love the Phillippe Starck decoration of the hotel. It is a festive hotel why some noise must be appreciated, but that’s part of the party. Will stay here again, but might not be super family friendly if that’s what one is looking for.

Had an amazing experience at the sls pool with our server Santi. He was extremely attentive to us and service was impeccable. We will definitely be coming back and requesting Santi. The cabanas were clean and the food was also delicious!!!.

It was truly a joy. They really took our wedding to heart and delivered an event like no other. All of our guests was endlessly raving about the food, service, ambiance, and fun! And like I said, the quality of service was not just exclusive to wedding start to end times....it was all throughout. we walked away from our special wedding weekend high on cloud 9, really impressed with how everything turned out, feeling like true guests of honor to the SLS team, and we were sad to leave! For anyone looking to book a private event here I want to emphasize that working with AlexaJill is a tremendous pleasure. She blew us away! She was our greatest advocate in planning our special day and it really shows how much she loves her job! outside of planning special events with SLS, we've really enjoyed this property several times in general as hotel guests and restaurant goers! "service luxary style" is their motto and it shows. we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the true Miami Beach experience!! we can't wait for our next visit now that we are Mr. and Mrs.!!
Great location, great service
Service all around (from check-in, valet, restaurant, bar, pool) was great. Ernesto was very knowledgeable and super helpful. Everyone was very friendly, room was clean, we had a king bed room with ocean view and it was a great view of the two pools and the ocean. A little noise at times from the hotel next door getting remodeled but only at daytime when mostly not in the room. The free loaner bikes were great to get some exercise on the ocean path. Fitness center was good enough. Breakfast options are good. Location is great, close to many restaurants and lounges, can walk to many of these. A few minor issues during our stay: one time it took about 30 minutes to get our car, valet had gotten the text request but they did not act on it right away, some of the pool towels that cover the pool lounge chairs are "tired", need new ones. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Loved the hotel and the staff
I went there with my friends for my 70th birthday celebration and had a lovely stay. Our idea of a hotel room had to be adjusted for this Art Deco hotel but once we got over not having a closet per se, we were able to appreciate all that this hotel offers. Manager Victoria is very professional, she listened to our concerns and problem solved in a prompt manner. Concierge Fredrico guided us towards great restaurants, all his suggestions were fantastic. Our breakfast server Sebastian was wonderful and Nicholas our server at the beach was friendly and very helpful. Victoria and her staff made our trip and my birthday a memorable one. We loved this hotel and enjoyed the pool area and the closeness to the ocean and all the fun areas. Highly recommend it

Nice Villa layout and design ! The service is great, staff very friendly, Sara the Bar tender is joyful and very caring. The pool party is very entertaining and good vibes. The live band yesterday night at Centra was great. I highly recommend SLS Miami South Beach !

The hotel was nice, the best part of our stay was the hotel staff. They were very attentive and welcoming, got us checked in early and a late check out as well as held our bags while waiting for our departure flight. The hotel room was pretty small and we did experience a few issues with our room but were helped in a timely manner. It's great that they offer beach umbrellas and chairs, and if you need additional ones you can pay for extra. The hotel is placed Ina good location that it allows you to walk around and rent bikes as well. We did not rent bikes from the hotel but rented the Citi bikes as they were more affordable and made sense. The location is pretty noisy but nothing a little TV or white.noise in your phone can't fix. Overall it was a good, but if you needed a larger room would definitely go elsewhere. Thanks !
Extraordinary stay
The location is excellent, the food delicious, the staff was very friendly and always willing to provide the best experience and comfort to the guest. Great comfort and attention on the beach. The restaurants in the area offer a great variety.

Location was great and the pool party / night party was great Rooms are pretty small but comfortable for a few days Need to clean the pools more Would recommend for a girls trip Concierge was really helpful and they have a car that will take you to dinner if close
Horrible experience
We used the hotel valet service and they damaged the car. You would think an high end hotel would provide good service. After pointing out the damage to the vehicle they didn’t want to take any responsibility after months of back and forth. Horrible experience. I had to deal with the damage on my own. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Top notch customer service vs bigger hotels
Fernando top notch concierge in welcome back. Great service and hospitality all around. Outdoor bar/restaurant convenient. Perhaps some of the best fresh squeezed orange juice there is. Hyde beach is the best pool party on east coast. Would return for sure- no doubt vs other sobe options.
Horrible experience
The least enjoyable sun-pool-beach experience in my life. You can't escape the pounding, bad and vulgar music between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m, not even in the elevator up to your room. It was so loud and harsh that my wife and I became physically ill. This hotel caters to folks who can afford nice accomodations right on the beash but opens the doors to its gorunds and pool to hudreds of vulgar young and indulgant locals who party boisterously and vulgarly like there's no tomorrow. Any sense that you have beautiful tropical nature in your midst is comletely lost. Want a calm breakfast and conversation? Impossible! Stay away.
Wow. All I can say is worst service experience at a hotel
Wow. All I can say is worst service experience at a hotel I've ever seen in my life. Better luck at a Motel 6. I arrived today at 1pm to check in and without even asking my name was turned away by the front desk saying they "can't even look at my computer" until after 4pm. I then asked to store my luggage and was told not until check in. Now I'm wandering down south beach with two suitcases trying to find WiFi. Remarkable that this place is in business. I'd refund and immediately move elsewhere if they would let me. Place is a total fraud.

Hispanic man with short hair was unfriendly and incompetent. No smiles and arrogant. When I checked out, he did not give me the proper hotel invoice. This place has really gone downhill. Customer service is very poor here. Management: It's not hard to hire friendly and competent people. Why don't you do it?

Recently came to SLS for a pool day.
The food was very good. I got the watermelon salad and my friend got the chicken sandwich and ceaser salad, definitely recommend. The pool set up is very clean and organized. The service is very fast and extremely nice. I was here on a thursday and it wasn't crowded at all, very peaceful.

Fantastic location in South Beach. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Great pools. One is a party pool and had a great vibe and the other pool is just to relax. Great decor. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

Forget trying to snipe reservations online by waking up early and booking top restaurants at Carbone or Tatiana or Cote or 4Charles. After 2.5 months of booking reservations by setting up alarms, waking up early to sell appointments. It’s very hard to cash out on this app. During cash out, you have to pay $5 fee +3% transactions fee and max payout per day is $150.
Advice to new users:
- do not mass book reservations
- fill bids only
- don’t try to book reservations online, you need connections and call the restaurant
After putting in about 40 hours of work, I’ve made about $750 sale on this platform but gotten paid $0. Take this with a grain of salt.

Has anyone found a way to get a question answered? From what I can tell there is no way to get in touch with anyone that works at/for AT. Other than the occasional admin posting a consultation offer here and there they are non existent. A lot of people have the same issue I have where we cannot cash out earnings. I cannot get my warning medal removed even though I am under the threshold. Sad to say but seems like AT is holding up everyone’s funds currently. I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I have a prepaid reservation, but I'm allowed to transfer that reservation to others for a price that I set (up to the total price I paid).
For selling POSTPAID reservations, do I charge the buyer the full amount of the reservation when transferring? And then the buyer pays something on top of that (which is what is listed in the AppointmentTrader listing?)
Major Issue for Seller
My money is being held hostage! Can you please remove my refund medal as I am below the 11% threshold and should be able to withdraw my full daily amount now? I have been teying for a long time to get a reply on this. Major issue for people looking to do good/right like you ask and make positive sales. Being able to access earned revenue is critical and not getting any reply is very concerning for your sellers. Lot of other people having the same issue. Once below the threshold you should auto remove the warning medals.

Just wanted to put this out there as I find it quite weird. AT will hold money if your sell through rate is to low. I find this strange as you would think that sell through rate should reflect more on AT not marketing their site well enough to generate sales. It seems weird to punish sellers for listings not selling.
