magical Miami Beach destination
A definite favorite when I come to Miami. Nothing better than to sit in their outdoor lounge adjacent to the pool where you'll experience comfy outdoor seating, a friendly squirrel and excellent/attentive service. Drinks can add up so be careful - I spent $250 in one sitting recently just over 90 minutes. The rest of the beach house features Cecconi's, a Soho restaurant on the second floor inside and outside, several seating areas, a hotel, a long pool surrounded by cabanas which makes for a runway of sorts as newcomers arrive to the House and have to walk past. It also features a well serviced lounge area on the beach itself which features full service for both food and drink.
Be the first to ReplyGreat weekend stay with baby
We had a great time at Soho Beach House a few weekends ago. Travelling with a baby can be very stressful but from the minute we booked online the staff were very responsive and accommodating, helping us with an airport transfer with car seat hire, accepting our delivery packages at no cost and helping us get set up in the lovely room with crib and extra bedsheets etc. The bellman (didn't catch his name) was very kind. The House is beautiful but it is on the smaller side so it can feel busy but with a small family, we felt very welcomed and it was surprisingly kid-friendly in many ways. Our room was lovely, my husband enjoyed the gym, I did a nice beach yoga class with Rachel, we both had amazing massages (highly recommend Sylvia!) and we enjoyed the pool area most days. It does get busy with members so best to go down in the morning if you want a poolside cabana. The food was delicious, and like all SHs it is pricey. We felt the price was worth it for the fabulous ambience and kind staff and would highly recommend it to other young families looking for a relaxing break.
Be the first to ReplyKids, coke and cruising.
Totally overcrowded house in all public areas. ( member ) families with lots of kids occupying the whole pool area from early morning meets the afternoon crowd thatās public get so high they have no idea where they are. A gym where dogs allowed running around between the guy gays open cruising around, only with a very small towel, in all the āwellnessā area. Restaurants so over full of people that you start thinking, if an emergency appears, how to get out ā¦ Quality of ( very overpriced ) food was a joke. Morning lunch beach evening. A joke! Rooms are of a great size, lovely view. Are they very tired and run down, or is that a part of the design and concept ? Guess that will be for individual guest to decide!
Be the first to ReplyDisgustingly unsanitary!!!
The Soho house name in Miami is exactly that. A name. Dear god let this establishment be better than Soho Beach House on South Beach. The members pay a lot of money and I donāt know where any of it is going. They opened here before being ready to actually open which seems like the theme here. Day 1 of membership: Please take your memberās hard earned money and refurnish the beach house and clean up the place before someone gets a disease! Calling code compliance because my partner cut his hand šļø on the bathroom door as the wood was splintered. Pictured below this weekend: Soho Beach house Black mold growing in pool mattress Pee stain on towel Mosquito pond Broken steam room Torn cabana tent A soggy dorito Trash everywhere Decorations disheveled Baby changing station opened for guests to see from the pool Mold on cabanas Leave trimmings everywhere

As always Soho House make you feel so welcome, great service, great amenities. Avoid at the weekend if you donāt like being surrounded by kids and babies. Loved hanging out on the beach and food was good too.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible place to stay
Absolutely loved the rooms and food. Everything was top notch. We were there for new years so it was super busy, only downside was the vast number of members there. But if you got up early you could secure a place by the pool in a cabana or on a beach chair pretty easily. If you come late the wait is hours long so be prepared. There was waiter service on the beach, a bit limited in the menu, but youāre on the beach so having anything brought to you is great. Cocktails were expensive but itās the same everywhere in Miami. Tip was included everywhere we went at 18-20%. Thereās constantly more to find and even quiet places like the library to hang out in. Gym, bars, two pools! Would love to come back and visit when itās a bit quieter.
Be the first to ReplyGood beachā¦awful everything else!
Iām a Soho House member and have been to at least 10 houses around the country. This is the WORST experience. The beach is great. If you can catch a chair early, itās a good experience. But the patrons inside are rude and entitled (even for Soho House). I donāt know if this house attracts the worst of the worst but thatās how it feels. Service is mediocre. The staff has regulars who they chat with forever but treat the rest of us like an afterthought. Soho House has a bad reputation because of houses like this.
Be the first to ReplyPretty Good Hotel, just know what to expect
It was my first time staying at this property on a girls trip with my sister. Overall, it was a lovely experience, with a few caveats. Pros: - The atmosphere is very intimate and other guests are friendly and chatty. There is a sociability there that isnāt always the case. - Beautiful room/furniture and lobby - Solid pool and beach service with decent food and cocktails - The little drink cart they send around every evening prior to turn down service is a nice touch - Civilized system for getting chairs and beach lounges - Great gift shop with supergoop sunscreen for sale if youāre a carry on girl like me - Nightlife at club bar is young but fun. Other hotels Iāve stayed at in the area lack a place for a post dinner drink upon return to the hotel, so itās nice to have the option. I will say it seems like this is a weekend thing because Sunday night everything closed up early. Cons: - The room was beautifully furnished but quirky. Several outlets did not work, and most rooms donāt have balconiesāthe windows also donāt open or even crack, so thereās no way to get fresh air. - Service at the beach bar most times of day, but especially in the morning while trying to get coffee, was the worst at the property. Staff would literally ignore and roll their eyes at people. It was genuinely uncomfortable and really soured the overall outlook on service. - The beach real estate is small. This is the downside to the members club situationāthere are a lot of members who arenāt hotel guests taking up chairs, service, etc. The chairs are tightly packed down at the beach. It lacks some privacy certain people may value when on vacation. Overall, Soho Beach House has a great vibe, and they try their best to balance the members club with the hotelābut guests should know in advance they will be in the company of a lot of people who are not staying at the property and understand everything that affects.
Be the first to ReplyVery Disappointing
The reality is this is a local members club, bursting at the seams with members signing in guests - it doesnāt function as a place to stay. Guests who pay (almost 6000 USD for 3 nights in our case) play second fiddle to everyone else. Getting a table, having a drink, just being a guest in general is absolutely impossible, very stressful and unwelcoming. Service is very shoddy, things arenāt dealt with until multiple calls and reminders, and even simple requests like a few teabags for the room (as there were none) were finally delivered with āthat will be 31 dollarsā. I donāt think so but I fully intend to take up Nick Jonesā opinion on it all. There is a lack of training and massive discrepancy in staff awareness of dealing with guestsā simple requests. Do you serve alcohol free beer? No. Do you serve alcohol free cocktails? No. (The menu states they do). Just shambolic and hugely disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyTeresa w/ Security!
I work out of Soho fairly regularly and see Teresa with security on a frequent basis. She always has a smile on her face and is so willing to go out of her way to make sure my guests and I are taken care of. 10 out of 10. :) ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦..
Be the first to ReplyQuite Disappointing - Phillip - Ineffective
After being a member for over 12 years, and visiting Soho Miami almost every Friday, it was quite disappointing that they were not able accomodate the same dietary requests we have had made and the were able to deliver. Unfortunately, Phillip was not able to give us any options than to just say that they can make any alterations. Nick and Management at Soho should clearly understand that with options that in this case Phillip offered is not at the Caliber that is what we expected for over a decade. Phillip mentioned that they were very busy(short staffed, etc) and thus not able to accommodate;however, Soho Beachhouse has been just as busy for the last 3 weeks and they were very willing and did a Great job accommodating us the previous times. The explanation provided by Phillip was unacceptable and highly scripted with no empathy towards the cadence of Soho and its spirit; be it soho farmhouse or berlin, or any of the other great places with the highest level of management. We are hopeful that management takes corrective action whereby managers are effective and at the sametime empathetic to their guests needs. The Floor Staff both on the 2nd floor and Bar are fantastic and we appreciate everything the do for us and the pleasant atmosphere they create. Unfortunately, its the management that lacked effectiveness and reflect on the mission of Soho House.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
We were ate at the hotel restaurant for brunch and wanted to pass through the back pool area to get to the public walking path after eating, and the hotel staff would not let us (keep in mind that we are with 3 small children). Despite being restaurant guests, they insisted we go outside and around 3 buildings to get to a public access point. After being treated like this as a paying customer of the restaurant, I would never ever stay at this hotel. I can only imagine how terribly they must treat hotel guests if they are that rude to restaurant guests.
Be the first to ReplyHugely disappointing, dirty, dusty, sticky, bad service
Really disappointing stay at soho beach house in Miami, especially given the coronavirus situation and how important cleanliness is, it was shockingly dirty. Given the pandemic has been going on for a while now, the room seemed as if it had never been cleaned, perhaps a few years ago! I stayed in 2 different rooms, medium and cosy and sadly I had the same unpleasant experience in both. The rooms were very dirty, every single surface is full of dust, nothing has been properly cleaned at all. I think when each guest leaves, the most they do is replace the toilet tissue. Every thing is dirty, the floor tiles are filthy, there are marks everywhere of spilt drinks and other liquids which they have not cleaned, the shower is filthy and I was so scared to stand in it I wore shoes inside the shower so I didnāt have to touch the ground with my bare feet. The bedside table was so dusty and dirty I couldnāt even put my phone on it. The sink was not properly cleaned and hair from previous guests kept coming out of the drainage hole into the sink whenever I ran water, as well as lemon seeds ?! It was disgusting. I ordered room service and it never came. I called an hour later and they claimed that they didnāt even have my order on the system. The window doesnāt open or close properly, and when you try to itās an unpleasant experience because the window handle is filthy and sticky. There are marks and stains everywhere. Towels had marks on, mould everywhere in the bathroom..upon entering your room for the first time you do not get a sense of a fresh or clean room. The furniture is not only dirty, marked and soiled but also very dirty. This does not feel like a hotel. It feels more like student accommodation. There isnāt anything luxury about it. I understand the draw of the social bar scene and restaurants and beach, but staying at this place is a whole other experience. for the amount it cost, the dirt and unpleasant experience and extremely rude members of staff behind the reception made it a really bad experience. I'd never spend one more pound there again. the reception staff are very unhelpful, rude, cold. no one even bothered to help me with my suitcases or ask me if I needed help to take them to my room when I arrived. I've never stayed at a hotel where they don't even ask you. all in all a shocking experience
Be the first to ReplyGoing downhill
I want to love Soho House, but the experience is such a mixed bag and definitely not up to par as a private club/five star hotel. The pool area is a mess, last time I was there a turned over plate of food and several beer cans were left on the walkway between the pool and beds the whole time I was there. Multiple people walked by and ignored it. The pool states no smoking but people are actively smoking cigars and ashing them poolside, again multiple employees ignored it and did nothing. Service can be good but it's dependant on the server, you could just as easily get someone who will take 30 minutes to bring you one drink. The staff also at times can have major attitudes and it does not feel like a hospitality environment. It didnt always used to be this way and I'm sure covid has played a role but I am writing this in hopes some changes and improvements can be made as this property has a lot of potential.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service!
My husband and I went to celebrate our 11th anniversary at the Soho Beach house and we seated by the bar since We didnāt make any reservation. Our bartender Jerry, provided the best service ever! He was very attentive, polite, and extra nice. Thanks to him, we had a wonderful night and celebration that we even forgot we were seated by the bar. We will definitely come back and recommend this place among our friends.
