St Martins Dallas Reviews from The Last Year
Ambiance and food were really good.
Noise level 3.5 -4 out of 5 I saw a couple people comment about that. Service was excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves . Our table had the sea scallops , rack of lamb and halibut. they were all delicious w halibut being my favorite . Valet service was nice. Live piano was nice touch as well. Worth checking out .
Last night we made our first visit to the new location.
We were very pleased with everything. The food was amazing. The champagne brie soup, carried over from the old menu, was so rich and delicious. We also had the mussels, sole and scallops, Everything was excellent and served at precisely the right time. We had a great waiter - good advice on the menu, clearing plates as soon as they were done, never had to look around to find him, but not hovering over you. They have preserved the ambiance of the original, but everything is fresh and new. Two thumbs way up!
It seems this will be a short lived encore.
The restaurant was so dimly lit that it was almost impossible to read the menus, let alone see my companion at the other side of the table. To highlight this, a waitress employed a cold LED flashlight at a nearby table to assist the patrons. The live piano music was a nice touch, but it was simply too loud. The experience was diminished by the playing of music from 90's TV shows. When the pianist took a break, there was no ambient noise in the restaurant so everyone could hear each other talking and eating. The worse part though was the "call and response" period where the pianist would play a bit and ask the customers/staff if they knew what the song was. Another strange issue was the spacing on the small booths. If we sat comfortable with our backs against the padding, we were so far apart that we could hardly touch hands, and could only hear each other if we spoke rather loudly. To avoid that, most of the dinner was spent hunches inward at the table so we could hear each other talking, but it was ultimately uncomfortable to both of us. Overall it felt more like a dimly lit episode of Cheers and not "the most romantic restaurant in Dallas." The food was the best part of the experience, except for the duck breast which was too fatty and chewy to be enjoyed. Although the issues were relatively minor, the cost far exceeds the value of the experience.
We went to St.
Martin's to celebrate my wife's birthday. We used to go when it was on Greenville. We were amazed at how they recreated the atmosphere and experience in the new space. The food and service was as great as we remembered it!
Fabulous meal, attentive service, piano player music
Fabulous meal, attentive service, piano player music background. Good for couples as well as group dining.
GORGEOUS! Their new location is so beautiful and their food
GORGEOUS! Their new location is so beautiful and their food is fantastic as it always has been. I'm so happy places like this elegant, white tablecloth restaurants still exist. The service was excellent. I sat at the bar and had a full meal which was so fun meeting and chatting with the friendly bartender and other patrons. Highly recommend it for a nice meal out, a special occasion or a fun night out with friends.
New location at 4223 Bryan St. in Dallas
They did a great job of remodeling their new space, retaining the dark wood and romantic vibe, including live piano. When we were there, the noise level was moderate (75 dB on Soundprint), but fine for talking. We sat in a booth in the back. My lamb chops were excellent. My husband's filet of sole was a little overdone. The service was excellent. We'll be back. The location is very convenient to the theater district.
I'm so glad St.
Martin's is back! The ambience and food is still amazing. I went with my family to celebrate my Mom's birthday, and all six of us had a wonderful time. We always like to make sure to arrive early and have drinks at the bar to get the evening started right. The Champagne Brie soup and service is what sets St. Martin's apart from the rest. You are treated like family and the food is always delicious. We shared escargot with bread and I had the rack of lamb, and others enjoyed the tournedos, filet, dover sole and desserts. The beloved piano music is back as well. I'm so glad St. Martin's has a new home that we can continue to visit for years.

Last night we dined at the new St Martin's location in east
Last night we dined at the new St Martin's location in east dallas. The ambiance is incredible, they even have a live piano player. Everything we ordered was delicious. The high notes for us were the Shrimp St Martins, the champagne Brie soup, the sea scallops, and the KC strip au poivre. Everybody else at the table seemed to be very pleased with the duck breast & rack of lamb. Our server, Zachary was attentive & friendly. The owner Pasha (who our friends know) was very warm & welcoming. It's not often in Dallas that a dining experience is perfect from start to finish but this one was.
This is my new favorite restaurant in dallas.
You can tell as soon as you walk in that the staff love working here and they are all TOP notch. You can expect the very best service in dallas. Everything I've tried is 10/10. My favorite appetizer is the Escargot. And I learned that they bring it here straight from France - so awesome. The shrimp is also amazing. You will not be disappointed!
Excellent
This place is a pleasant romantic throwback to the 70s ( at least) with piano music, leather upholstered booths with oak wainscoting and very good food. We had the beet salad, French onion soup, sole, duck, and crème brûlée all of which were excellent. Wine by the glass choice was very good and our waiter very attentive. It was a very enjoyable evening and would certainly return if I’m back in Dallas

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
