Discovered this hidden gem while passing through Denver
Discovered this hidden gem while passing through Denver with my 3-year-old granddaughter who was craving ramen. Despite it being late, we were warmly welcomed, promptly seated, and treated with care. The ambiance was delightful, and the food was awesome. A perfect find for travelers headed back to the Springs from DIA and seeking delicious ramen in Denver!
Be the first to ReplyThis is my personal favorite ramen shop.
They have an udon dish, yaki gyu udon, that I really love. The beef is always so good and I love the addition of mayo and pickled onions on top. Something I truly appreciate about this restaurant though is that they have DIY ramen. My son prefers udon noodles and wants no vegetables, so he is able to check the box on which broth he wants, udon noodles, and if he's in the mood some protein. It's great to be able to customize to his picky tastes. My other kids also love it, and my hubby too. The two locations I've been to have a nice feel to them, we generally go to the park meadows location. Service is fine. I keep forgetting to take pictures.
Be the first to ReplyBad slow service.
One waiter for everything won't cut it. Waiting busting packaging and stuff.

Updated review: Sukiya Ramen still is crowned the best ramen in Denver IMO! Consistent, bouncy noodles, tasty broth, hot and comforting. Love this place always.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was great and the food was amazing.
This was my first time going and I had the spicy chicken teriyaki. It was delicious. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Be the first to ReplyWell, I found my new favorite ramen spot.
As a vegan, sometimes vegetarian, I find that vegetarian ramen is often mediocre. It's typically a salty and creamy broth, tons of noodles, and 2-3 varieties of sparse veggies (mushrooms, bok choy, and maybe tofu). It gets boring quickly. I had the Kale Vegi Ramen and it was delightful and delicious! Loved the clear broth, kale noodles, and TONS of veggies! Broccoli, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, carrots, corn, ginger, green onion, bok choy. Lots of soft tofu (not fried, thank goodness) and a delicious hard boiled and marinated egg. Each bite was different and amazing. I very much enjoyed my food experience. I came around 2:30 PM on a Tuesday and the venue was empty and service was fast and attentive. Definitely recommend trying it out during a less busy hour.

Food is fantastic! Some of the best ramen I've tried and a perfect cold snowy day meal.
Be the first to ReplyWent here last night in the extreme cold : it was excellent.
All of the yelp pictures exactly match what we had : tongkatsu, seafood soup and Yakisoba. Would give 5 stars, but still think $17 for ramen should have a little more bulk to it but I might be alone. For instance, half of a hardboiled egg was really good, but 2 halves would be nice :-) Will definitely return.

This authentic ramen joint is the best in all of the Denver metro area. There isn't a ramen on the menu that isn't delicious. I especially love the Tsukemen dipping ramen.
Be the first to ReplyFood was delicious.
The chasu was tender and flavorful and the egg was perfect. Noodles had a nice tooth feel and were great in the flavorful broth. I enjoyed this a lot and will revisit next time I'm in town!

Ordered spicy tonkotsu and yum!! Added extra bok choy and egg. It was busy for dinner time. ( I'd call ahead for dinning in.) The staff was so nice and helpful!

It was really an interesting mix of Japanese culture all appearing under one roof.

I can honestly say I was not a Ramen sound until this place! Studs helped inform us of what the menu meant and helped guide me to an extremely yummy meal!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic! The pork/bun appetizer was a 12/10.
The ramen had amazing broth and my wife had a poke bowl. She said it was the best she had ever had. Will stop here again in the future.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best ramen you're going to find in Denver.
I tried most of their ramens and about half of their non-ramen items. I am happy to report that the Godzilla ramen is properly spicy. The tonkatsu ramen is quite heavy and rich, which is extra comforting when it's cold out. The shoyu is a much lighter option that is equally as tasty for me. Noodles are cooked well, the meat is perfectly prepared, the garnishes meet expectations, and I usually finish the broth. The non-ramen items are alright, but nothing to write home about. I just stick to ramen when I come here now days. There isn't a ton of seating available inside. Maybe I'm lucky, but I always seem to be able to get a table and it always seems to be the last table available.Decoration is appropriately japanese themed. The staff do an excellent job here, but sometimes it's slow service when they are super busy. Slow, but tolerable, for me.

Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed with our service and food last night from
Very disappointed with our service and food last night from Sukiya on Arapahoe Rd. We arrived at 8:30pm and there were two couples waiting before us. When Keon the host greeted us, he lied and said there were six people waiting ahead of us, and suggested we go to their Broadway location because it is open until 10pm. We said no thanks, so he said that they stop seating at 8:40 and he looked at his watch and it was almost 8:40 but not quite, but he said that we could order to go instead, meanwhile the other two couples that were waiting were seated (all happening within 5 minutes) and there was one table left, and no one else there waiting but us. Despite the fact that he just seated the other people and there was a table left, we had to order to go because he wouldn't seat us. Their posted hours says they are open until 9pm, so what's their problem? So we ordered to go and sat down to wait, so then he comes to us and tells us they're out of the appetizer we ordered, so we said fine, and picked something else. He suggested the fried chicken, but we didn't want the fried chicken and told him that we wanted the gyoza. When they bring out our order there's fried chicken in the bag! So we tell the waitress that its not what we ordered. So then Keon comes up and puts a Sapporo in our bag, I guess as a way to resolve the problem, which was just insulting. At this point we just leave with the food because its too much trouble. So we get home, and the food was so disappointing. The tonkatsu ramen soup tasted like it was watered down, no flavor at all. Keon was so eager to close the place up, he wouldn't seat us, even when they clearly could have, and then they gave us crappy food. They should just post their hours closing at 8:30p instead of 9pm if that's how they are going to treat their customers, by telling them lies and not seating them. Keon was rude, full of lies, and arrogant, and obviously trying to get rid of fried chicken. He wouldn't take no for an answer. I have been there several times before, during the day, and its been fine. I guess Keon just wanted to get home.

We stopped in apres skiing and nothing could have hit the spot better! The options are so varied that no one can be disappointed! It is a key pretty small seating area but don't feel crowded, and you can have food delivered or set for pickup! So yummy, I'm craving it still!!
Be the first to ReplyFood wasn't great at all, very bland.
The owners are also rude and cold to the customers. I won't ever be back after feeling unwelcome from the moment I walked in the door. There wasn't anyone else in the restaurant so I chose a table to sit at, the man yelled at me to sit at another table near the door. He actually barked the order at me. A younger guy came in about 5 minutes later and ordered two meals for himself and the male owner made rude comments about how much he was ordering for just one person. Never again.
Be the first to ReplyThis is our go-to place in the area.
Ramen is excellent, so are their pork buns. I like to add a little extra broth with mine but your mileage may vary. Excellent service, our em wait staff was attentive. There's usually a small wait because the place is a bit small, but most good places are, aren't they?
Be the first to ReplyDelicious! Huge portions and incredibly fresh.
I got the gluten free noodles and they were great.
Be the first to ReplyThis place was absolutely wonderful and much of a surprise
This place was absolutely wonderful and much of a surprise because I didn't see anything on the menu that I was really craving. My first time trying a ramen spot but I'm not a fan of ramen noodle soup so I was glad to see diff options. I went for the beef fried noodle bowl (beef yakisoba) without the yolk and it was absolutely fantastic with an great flavor that is indescribable. Very rich and umami. The noodles were very fresh and hearty. The meal was filling and like nothing I have ever had before. I also got an order of chicken boa buns, but these boa buns were a little stickier than my preference in that, with every bite the buns world stick to my teeth, but the flavor was great! Some things to know is that this is in the downtown area so you have to hope for best when it comes to parking. You are given chopsticks to eat with. although I would've preferred to fork, I wasn't gonna embarrass myself and ask for for since I do know how to use chopsticks, but just know there is no silverware on the table. If they do offer silverware you would definitely have to ask for it. There are no dessert dishes but they serve mochi if you need something sweet. The lychee soju, alcoholic beverage was delicious. I can't wait to come back here and into some opl

I was struggling to find good ramen/noodle restaurants in Denver that were authentic. I've got to say, Yelp sent me here and... it's THE BEST RAMEN IN TOWN! Everything about it was delicious from the broth, the noodles, the soft boiled egg, and all the toppings. Although the broth was the star of the show for me, the charsiu was the best charsiu I've had in awhile in both Denver and Hawaii! It was a medium thickness and had a slight char. Soooo good!We ordered the tonkatsu, spicy tonkatsu (not spicy to me), and the chicken shoyu. I will definitely be back. It will be my go to comfort ramen spot. And priced super reasonably ($15 before tax and tip per person).
