Sumi Restaurant London Reviews
Very Nice
Most of our raw fishes tasted very fresh. But the best will remain the Beef Gohan. The I highly recommend the Yuzu alcoholic drink. I understand the prices, so if you are looking for a fancy night out, DROP all the plastic Mayfair restaurants and go

Solid takeout option, the mango tango roll was simple and good quality, I might have just added another sauce for a bit of spice and tanginess. Yaki soba in the city has been one disappointment after another, but the one here was actually quite good,
Sushi in Notting Hill - delicious
Delicious dinner in Notting Hill!! This is authentic Japanese cuisine in beautiful Notting Hill. We dined outside on the terrace (had a reservation). The sushi is very high quality, and the other dishes are also high quality. It's pricy, and
Their consistency across different dishes is impressive.
This establishment shows real quality. Their team creates comfortable interactions. They don't add unexpected costs to your meal. I'll eat here again soon.
Perfection
This place is amazing! Food is delicious, you can see the chefs preparing everything. The kitchen is very organised and clean. The quality of all their ingredients is perfect. Cocktails are a must, we really enjoyed them. Service was spotless, Giova

Order delivery here frequently because they are so fast and it hits the spot for a neighborhood sushi delivery spot. I order and try and take a shower and they're already here. Well done
Borderline Pretentious meets expensive
There were ups and down about this restaurant. Cute clean design. Nice shari ( seasoned rice for the sushi). Prefect temperature. Good hamachi. Seaweed salad… a bit too pasty with that intense dressing Agedashi dofu, nice ginan sauce, but the textu

Pretty standard Chinese sushi place: menu is pan Asian (there are Chinese and Thai items on the menu) and the fish is cromulent: not particularly tasty, but also not bad either. Somewhere in the middle. Japanese sushi places tend to not have pan As

Ordered takeout with a 15 min delivery window, food arrived a bit early! The rolls were a poor approximation of what I had expected even from a "neighborhood" sushi spot. There was romaine lettuce in the shrimp tempura roll and entirely too
Overated
The venue is not something special. The service is good but impersonal. Very limited choice of food, average taste. Extremely expensive for what it offers.
Just OK
Very busy but unfortunately the food is far below expectation, service was just about OK due to full restaurant,i wouldn't go there again
Cozy, fresh and quick.
This Japanese spot has everything you would expect, but they do it well and with great quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and fast. The prices are a bit higher than I usually see but the area and quality of the food justifies it for me. My o

It's about time I write a review for this place.
Sumi's sushi platter for two is how we celebrate in my house. The sushi has always been reliably fresh and delicious. Such great value for the quality and quantity of fish you get. I've only ordered from this place for delivery.
Ok..
Meh. That's all I can say. Very expensive with an extremely limited range of fish/sushi. Not bad but not amazing either. Would not necessarily go back.

Best London Sushi 🍣
The very best, most tender, melt in your mouth, tuna, 🍣 salmon and yellowtail nigiri sushi 🍱 and temaki that I have ever had in my life! Fresh and eared. And the seaweed and garden salads were also yummy. Right in Notting Hill. Not inexpensive
Ridiculous
They shut their seating and kitchen 40 minutes before the close. That is highly unprofessional and very odd. Honestly I was giving the place a chance but the staff seems to be least interested in handling customers. Save yourself and go to the real a

I like their sushi most of the time but had bad luck with smelly fish too. Service use to be better and prices were cheaper but been going up kinda every year.
This was a sushi delivery when I was at work.
I was craving sushi and my previous go-to spot moved. I've found several locations Downtown Brooklyn, but I needed something closer to Clinton Hill/Bed-Stuy. I trust Yelp. My food arrived way before the scheduled time and it was packaged with soy sau

A wonderful trendy Japanese restaurant with a small menu but specials also. The service was exemplary… friendly, warm and very kind. The food was wonderful. It’s very expensive and quite noisy and no one else seemed much over 35. But I love it’

I'm kinda of a sushi snob! I need it to be fresh, great presentation, and top quality. Sumi delivers all that and more. Interesting and unique mixes of taste and texture. The chef is a sushi artist!!
Amazing experience (slightly overpriced)
Great quality sushi, service was good (staff was friendly) but not the most professional for Michellin's standards, I would say. Overall, very positive experience! Super fresh sushi/ ingredients and perfect cocktails too! I would suggest bigger porti

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Sumi Restaurant London at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Sumi Restaurant London page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Sumi Restaurant London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Sumi Restaurant London!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
