Disappointing day
The outlet wasnโt very busy to begin with. However, the services was a huge let down. As the staff despite seeing us waiting no at the entrance to be sorted chose to ignore us. It wasnโt until we called out to them did they acknowledge us. Additionally, although the food was came quickly, our dessert didnโt. As we were left there sitting wondering where our desserts went after our meal. It was truly a let down as both my daughter and I really like the Swensen ice cream. Wonโt recommend this outlet.

I was pretty much disappointed with the service and food there. We got 1 of our sides and my partner got his main first, despite ordering the clam soup. Clam soup was practically cream soup and there was no clams, instead there was chicken and ham. I think the soups finished and they wanted to still push the food out, so they just made do.

Great location to pop by just for deserts, it's usually packed and under-staffed therefore do not expect any service.

Just thought of having a quick bite in an establishment which been around for decade now an still the food is good but services slacking might just be because of the weekend crowds flocking to the mall as Causeway Point is known to be one of the busiest human traffics mall which is close to the causeway (JB). Waited for nearly half an hour till we got our seat ,but we did enjoyed the choice we had but prime aren't like before might be because of the high rental in a heavy human traffic mall. Might try some of their outlet island wide sometime soon

We visited the restaurant during weekdays lunch time and it's not too crowded. Their service is really terrible. We're left at the seats for 15 mins without anyone coming over to take order and we'll have to shout for someone to take out orders. Since we knew their service is super slow, we have asked for our dessert to be served half way through our main course. But after all of us has finished with out main course, we still have to wait for 10 mins before our dessert are served. We've also given special order not to add whipped cream to the ice cream but it was served with whipped cream. When we asked, the server went to check it out and he told the server in the kitchen. But the server in the kitchen shouted "no one said what" and all of us heard. What attitude is that? The standard of all Swensen has dropped so much, I'm still thinking will I visit any of the branch again since this is the 3rd restaurant that I've encountered poor services and poor attitude from servers.

I used to like to eat at Swensen but it seems the standard is not the same as before. At least the ice cream is still has the standard.
Be the first to ReplyMediocre American Food in a Country Full of Better Options
I am not overall a fan of eating American food when outside America (after all, why not take the opportunity to try local food?) but I ended up at Swensen's and was generally disappointed by the quality of food. I did not eat ice-cream, with Swensen's seems to be proud of, but the rest of the food was tasteless, in some cases dry, and rather unappetizing. If you want good food, look elsewhere.

Visited on 21stAug15 w friends. Went in early around 10:40am n the mgr allowed us to be seated. After decided what we wanted to take,we wanted to place our orders but the mgrs n crews will very consideration, they told us to wait till 11am then placed orders so tat our orders r valid for the Lunch Treat-every main course comes with a side dish is either those finger foods or dessert or drinks. Is really kind n customers' center minded. So we waited till 11am then placed our orders. Don't forget to show your Cool Rewards card when u placed orders so tat u r entitled to pay $1 for drinks. My friends ordered Lamp Chops $18.90 valid for free Fire Shrimp (worth $8.50) n Chendol Delight $10.90. She like the Lamp Chops so much but she found the Fire Shrimps's shrimps were small. Black Pepper Seafood Pasta $16.20(she like it) n Breaded Scallops$9.80 (free as Lunch Treat). We like this breaded scallops so much as it is crispy. Milk Shake $6.90. I ordered my favourite Creamy Mushroom $9.80 n Fried Mushrooms $6.50. My Berries Cooler drink is just $1 for member-Cool Rewards. Fruit Yogurt $5.50. Total bill $94.98 w 10% SERV charge n 7%GST. I get a $10 Swensens' voucher from SG50 promotion w every spending of $50. This VCH with no minimum spending required for the next dine in n is valid for 3 months from the date of issued. Overall have a good experience(we eat until very full) but find tat our serving time of dessert was a bit long. As actually we told one of the staff that dessert can be served but 15mins later still not served yet so had to inform them again.

I like to eat at any Swensen's in Singapore. Their Salmon and dessert are my favorite. Try their earthquake if you can finish.
