Miami Pale Ale is ok.. Go up and order what you want and when they yell your name make sure you head up or they'll yell louder, which helps because you're beside the road..

I recently tried the tacos at this restaurant, and they were absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

Always skeptical about delivery. BUT. OH. MY. GOSH. came fresh and handled with so much care. Got the Pork Tacos. HANDS DOWN FAVORITE MIAMI MEAL! Generous portions of meat! Great sauces and toppings. Came in a DIY setting which was perfect! The corn however was a bit bland- sauce and topping made up for it but the corn itself was tasteless. So good. Def recommended !

Delicious tacos and chips + salsa! I had the chapulines, lengua and asada tacos and they were all delicious! I will admit, that it was my first time eating grasshoppers and it was psychologically difficult to get used to that, but I wanted to try it and everything was really good here! Great service, and the ambiance was really cool as well. Would definitely come again!
Be the first to ReplyAll around awesome place for tacos.
The asada was only ok but the carnitas, pollo, and Al Pastor were unbelievable. This is your classic hole in the wall taco joint that blows you a way with great food. The blue corn tortillas are perfect and the totopos were an experience.... The most unique chips and guacamole you would ever have. Its a must for your south beach visit when you want a casual lunch
Be the first to ReplyDeeeeelicious.
We tried the pollo and both vegetarian taco options, and the quesadilla- YUM. Very authentic and the homemade blue corn tortillas make it so memorable.
Be the first to ReplyGenerous portions.
Good flavor. Yes, the tip is added to the bill, but I was aware of this before I went. A server did come out to check on me while I was there so there was some actual service. There was a nice outside area to sit and eat. I would visit again.

This is a nice spot on Miami Beach for a quick and tasty lunch. The prices are decent, considering the tourist area it's in. The food is really good - get the totopos - delicious.

Walking by and had the chips and salsa with queso for a snack. Ohmygosh absolutely yummy delicious! Didn't look at reviews, we just said, ooh, that sounds yummy. I'm of a mature age and have had my share of tasty foods. I would put their masa tortillas in my top 10 best food ever.

I would've given them 5-stars, but they automatically add 20% to your check, even when it's just two people, and then deceivingly have a "tip" line on the receipt. It wasn't until after we left we realized we tipped twice. So BE AWARE TIP IS INCLUDED.
Be the first to ReplyPrices were high and the food was mid-level.
The quesadillas were the tiniest things I have ever seen for the price and the chicken tacos were not that flavorful. However the staff seem very nice and they have outdoor seating where you can enjoy the busy streets of South Beach

Five stars for the totopos ONLY and they were worth a second visit. The reviews on the dry Al Pastor were spot on. But nobody talks about the totopos. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Add the refried beans. Freaking AMAZING.

This is one of the stingiest businesses I have ever been to in all of my travels. They ask if you are dining in or doing take-out and they add an automatic 15% if you dine-in, although it's in the style of a Pei Wei where they look for your number and leave it at the table. No one is asking me if I am enjoying my food or if I would like to order somethine else, so THIS IS NOT PROVIDING A SERVICE! Bringing the food out is not providing a service because in order for people to order your food, guess what? You have to bring the food out to them otherwise you do not have a business. So they are charging you for what already has to to happen. If I was actually being provided a service, I would be more than happy to tip my usual 20%. Also, I had a friend come here and they wanted to pay in cash but were told that they give no change if you pay with cash and that the remaining money would be added as a tip. Mind you, this is in ADDITION to the already automatic tip. This just sounds corrupt, especially because he could see cash in the register that could have been used to give him his change. On top of that, there is no salsa for your tacos. You have to pay for it if you want some, which is the craziest thing I have ever heard of at a taco place. They do give a jalapeno hot sauce with the tacos, but it is ridiculously spicy and not everyone wants hot sauce on their tacos. Just to be clear, hot sauce is not a salsa. This place is so stingy that they only have one napkin dispenser in the entire store so if you're outside you have to go inside. Most places have one on every table, but that is how much they are penny-pinching here. Now food-wise, these tacos need a sauce. ONE THAT COMES WITH THE TACOS, not that you pay for because I am paying for you to make good food already. The tacos were dry. We tried the carnitas, barbacoa, cochinita pibil, and the shrimp tacos with totopos on the side. Again, the meat was dry and the shrimp was very boring, very uninspired. We did love the totopos so if you insist on eating here, do yourself a favor and get those. Edit: How could I forget.... unfortunately the tortillas are not homemade, you can tell that they are factory bought because of the ridge. This was highly disappointing for a place priding themselves on their blue corn products.

Five stars for food!!!! Everything in this place is beyond words! Service is very slow, so be patient. The place is located with a lot of parking spots in the area.
Be the first to ReplyWe ordered 5 different tacos and they all tasted dry to us.
Not sure if it was because we showed up 30 min prior to closing or not. Now the chips and guacamole was AWESOME!! The chips were very different. They were thick and warm with a little bit of salt and were delicious by themselves. We also loved the guacamole and the salsa, they were both on point!! DEFINITELY TRY THE CHIPS AND GUACAMOLE!!

I apologise for half-eaten tacos as when they came out I just inhaled them but they are super delicious. Don't be scared away with beef tongue i think it's the best imho... it's a semi-self service as you have to order via QR code and they will serve you at your table.
Be the first to ReplyWas disappointed by Taquiza Tacos.
Ambiance was nice, but tacos were nothing special. Meat was dry on the Al pastor and carnitas tacos. Service was efficient, but nothing extra.

I got my tacos delivered and was a little annoyed that I had to assemble them myself, due to the fact I was at an Expo at the Miami Beach Convention Center. However, that was quickly forgotten after, I tasted the delicious food I had ordered! I got the Carnitas, Al Pastor, and Pollo tacos, and every single one was delicious the blue maíz tortillas pair so well with the pork, and chicken. Lastly, the salsas they make are lip smacking good! I will definitely stop by if I'm ever in the area again!

Tacos were so good that after my first visit I went back for more the next day. Aside from the food ordering process everything about this spot checks off all the boxes for a supreme taco spot. I'm not a fan of the mobile ordering at table. I like to see a full menu and have the option to ask questions and make modifications to my order if needed. Tacos are worth every penny. Filled with tons of meat and fresh toppings. Top three were...-the shrimp-mahi mahi (fav, fav, fav)-impossible chorizo The one item I wasn't a fan of were the chips. We ordered the queso... which you have to order the chips as well. They do not come together. The chips are not your traditional tortilla chips. They are a thicker chip that tastes more of like a doughy pancake (hard to describe). Just not what you'd like to eat a ton of with your queso. Very heavy. Overall the place is solid. The tacos out of control delish!!

I highly recommend this place. The drinks are good as well. I'll be coming back.

OMG. Avoid this place. There are many taco places with much better food and service than Taquiza Tacos. My wife and I -- in town for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival -- arrived for a late lunch. We'd read so many wonderful reviews here, Eater Miami, and The Infatuation about this place that we had to try it. It was so disappointing. There is no wait staff. You order by scanning a QR code at your table or by standing in line at the bar. The delivery staff brings your food from the kitchen to your table. Our flavorless tacos took about 20 minutes to arrive. Our $7.00 blackened masa chips (about 1/8 inches thick and chewy) looked like fire debris. Our guacamole ($3.00) was a small portion. It was good, but salty. The elote (1 ear cut into 3 pieces) was delicious, but not even lukewarm. They were out of Diet Coke, had no iced tea, and no sugar substitute sweetener. A la carte tacos were $4.50-$6.00 each. Our churros weren't hot. Our churros were crispy and hard as a rock. It was $67.58 for the two of us. I'm amazed that Taquiza Tacos is on the list for Best of Miami? You've got to be kidding. We've certainly had better. With so many executives in town for the SoBeWFF, I would have thought this place would have been on their A-game. They weren't.TacoCraft in South Miami is definitely better tasting, more flavorful, and with faster attentive personal service....and their 3-taco platters are $20.
Be the first to ReplyPossibly my favorite stop on our trip to Miami.
The incredible tacos had me dancing and the sweet horchata hyped me up. Service was stellar. I didn't see many employees but everything was clean, delicious food came out quickly, and attitudes were great all around. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyProbably some of the best tacos I've ever had.
For a simple little restaurant, their tacos were unique and well made. I love that you could buy them in singles, that way you could try a bunch. My favorites were the shrimp and al pastor! I also tried the grasshopper taco for fun and I was surprised how good it was

Great tacos!! Mahi was especially flavorful! Very unique soft warm chips. Salsa and guac both tasty. Lively atmosphere outside and chill and casual inside. We stopped by here for dinner before going dancing; great quick dinner spot. Highly recommend!

Came here for a fast casual dinner on a recommendation from a friend who is obsessed with this place and the restaurant did not disappoint. it's the stylu spot where you order your food at the front and they give you a placard with a number so the food is brought directly to you. One thing you absolutely have to try is the totopos which are the is thick almost ready corn chips with their guac and or queso (we got both lol). I've never had anything like this and they were so unique and delicious. Our group enjoyed the tacos overall, although the carnitas with cinnamon were a little odd for my palette. Slightly pricey tacos for what you're getting IMO but I would recommend this place for a fast casual meal or also as a good place to go with a big group where you want it to be easy for each person to get their own individual things!
