The Botanist Sloane Square London Reviews
The best Bartender
We received fantastic service. The bartender Soni is absolutely polite and helpful, I can recommend him to everyone! 🙈
Very disappointed and overpriced
We booked a table in the restaurant in the evening which had four other people that had just finished their meal. Only two other people came into the restaurant during our time there. This was a concern we thought it was a popular upmarket eatery.Zer
Expensive pint.
Expensive pint. Was charge a £1 service charge, just for pulling a pint, This practice has to be banned. Apart from that a nice venue.
Front-of-house isn’t so welcoming at The Botanist!
I visited The Botanist yesterday, as I have done on and off for over 15 years. As always, the gents behind the bar were polite, friendly and served me my drink with a warm welcome. The reason I’m only scoring 2 out of 5 is I feel the service prov
Warning: NOT the real Botanist – completely different restaurant.
We booked The Botanist in Sloane Square thinking it was part of the fantastic Botanist chain we’ve enjoyed in Exeter, Cardiff and Liverpool – you know, the hanging kebabs, botanical cocktails, and quirky, fun atmosphere. Instead, we found somethi
The perfect lunch spot on Sloane Square
We enjoyed our recent lunch at the Botanist very much. The outdoor bistro tables are the perfect front row seat for people and fancy-car watching on Sloane Square. The awning provided welcomed shade as we were there on a glorious sunny day. We bot
Brilliant
Love waitress very attentive, food was amazing and drinks. The restaurant was beautiful and classy will be going again!
Good for theatre or locally
A good place to come for a pre theatre meal or if you just want to eat in the area. A reasonable choice of food and, in common with many restaurants today, a good selection of wines by the glass. We both had salads as a main course; goats cheese and
Flavourless coffee and uncooked eggs well undercooked.
Poor. That’s being nice. It was a very Saturday morning of the Chelsea flower show so there were a lot of people about however there is no excuse for poor quality coffee or food at any restaurant. The coffee (skinny Flat White and they had run out
Okay, but shame about the dessert
For central London this was okay and reasonably priced. My warm smoked salmon was cold, but was still enjoyable and the salad/dressing with it was quite nice. The aubergine curry also was pretty good for the price. Both dishes were good and well pres

Poor vegetarian offerings and very overpriced
We had the brunch menu and honestly the food was poor and very overpriced . The vegetarian options were tiny , a small round of cheese and some pickle and toast. Shocking! Why restaurants think if you’re vegetarian you don’t eat much I will never
Extortionate prices!
Be very careful when popping in for pre-theatre drink - this place is extortionate! Ordered two glasses of rose wine, very average, nothing special. Absolutely shocked when given bill of £49.95!! Questioned this & bartender said we should have
Birthday brunch
Had a a lovely birthday celebration here with some friends. Angelina was very friendly and helpful. Bottomless brunch was a good deal. Foodand the prosecco were all very good!
Lovely place for lunch
Love the Botanist for lunch and/or a few drinks. The bar's fine but the restaurant is better than the bar, so go here to eat. it's also a great alternative if the Colbert across the road is full, which it often is. Menu's great, service is top c
Great food, excellent service
Food was great, service was excellent, we were pre-theatre so everything needed to run smoothly and it did - Angelina our waiter was really attentive.
Amazing brunch
18 of us booked a bottomless brunch and the service for such a large group was outstanding. Our servers Albjona and Melanie were very accommodating and fast with drink service. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Be aware of massive charges!
A massive rip off! Targeting tourists charging £17 to bring drinks to your table, and tried to charge a friend £3.50 service when she was at the bar. They also tried to charge me £38 for 2 G&Ts!
Wonderful anniversary experience.
Went with my S/O for our anniversary. We both had a lovely time, massive thanks to a wonderful young man, Taylor, one of the bartenders. A stunning establishment, we will be back to celebrate again.
Avoid this place at all costs, awful service! The servers
Avoid this place at all costs, awful service! The servers tried to charge us for 7 orders of oysters instead of 2 because we were tourists. It ruined my family's dinner and our night. As a tourist, you want to have a good time since you're spending a
Food was mid at best.
Made reservation at 1 got our food at 3:20. Service was terrible. Took forever to get every item we ordered, and still managed to forget multiple things we ordered.
