I was sold on this tasty looking video I saw for the all
I was sold on this tasty looking video I saw for the all you can eat (Breakfast Club) special they got going on M-F 9am-12 noon $28 Took my WFH self and headed on over. I got there at 10:45 am and there was about a 30/45 min wait. I let the host know I was there for the all u can eat and she let me know that although over at 12noon, they will stop replenishing the buffet at 11:30am. So note to self: given the wait time and if u plan on the all i can eat, get there by 10amVery pretty inside, lots of greenery, pastels, very chill environment. Great little place for heading out with the girls. It felt a little cramped in there and I only saw like one big table that could accommodate a larger group but I do see this more as a place for 1-3 peeps per party. We got seated at 11:25 and told the waiter we wanted AYCE. You can choose one of three lattes, I chose the the pistachio rose latte and we were off to the races. You grab your plate and there's smoothies/juices, overnight oats, breads/pastries, then some bagels/sliced bread for toasting, cream cheeses, olives, cucumbers, capers, onions, tomatoes, carrot (lox), whipped fetas (sweet and savory), warm bread salad, frittata, and faux chicken and waffles. My fav fav were the whipped fetas with all pickled veggies and carrot cake overnight oats. The rose pistachio latte was also very light and subtle. The warm salad so flavorful, frittata not so much. All in all, it was a good meal. A few items stood out more than others but I would like to come back a little earlier to avoid the feeing of having to beat the clock (aka losing out on items cuz no longer replenishing)

The food was so good & fresh!! Highly recommend making a reservation for the breakfast buffet. The staff is very sweet and accommodating (Ethan was our server and he was so friendly)
Be the first to ReplySo wanted to love it but the AYCE was not worth it.
Lacks favor and variety. If you go try the regular menu maybe it's better. service was okay. They also add wellness tax?
Be the first to ReplyCame here to see what the IG hype was about.
I was excited for the aesthetic vibes but was hopeful that the breakfast ayce was just as delicious. I was sadly disappointed! Pro: the ambiance did not disappoint. we had a seat in the patio. the plants, color schemes, and vibes were on point. Cons: service was terrible and food was MEHH. As soon as we walked in, the host was not friendly but sat us in the patio. he told us that our server would be with us shortly, and we patiently waited for about 10 mins. we looked at the menu and we're wondering how the breakfast bar worked since it was our first time. We finally saw the host again (we were in the patio) and asked how the bfast bar worked. he promptly said "your server hasn't told you? he should be right with you." we responded saying we didn't know how it worked since it was our first time. After which he told us we can just get our food ourselves (not friendly at all! idk how you can be a host and not be hosting LOL) anyway, through out the meal we were waiting for the staff-- waited for them to clear our table after our first round of plates, waited for to-go boxes, waited for the check, waited for our card. It's clear the staff was not trained to handle the ayce this restaurant was offering. Food was not superb. they serve bite size portions that was average to say the least. everything was pretty though lol. I did really love the carrot lox!

Tried to eat here but was confused about the menu for brunch; is it a breakfast buffet or full service, after reading reviews I was confused how the service was done? Personally I won't eat at a buffet for sanitary reasons, so it was important for me to know. To answer this question, I tried calling the restaurant but it turns out that there's no way to reach this place by telephone without speaking to a robot that couldn't answer the question. I asked the question and was told I was being transferred to a human. No one picked up and I had a leave a message which no one returned. This was enough to tell me everything about how this business feels about their customers. I won't try to go here again.

We went for dinner service and were immediately in love with the low light 60s style of the restaurant. We didn't have a reservation but since it was a week night we got seated quickly. I ordered a cocktail that was excessively strong and a little difficult to drink but I wasn't going to complain. The mushroom calamari was the highlight of the meal! Very similar to real calamari. When it came time for dessert we tried the licorice tiramisu which was a subtle twist on a classic. The service was a little slow but overall the restaurant has some great dishes and a promising start in LA.
Be the first to ReplyWas so excited to do the breakfast club buffet.
Website says ends at noon, came at 11am and they said they stop seating around 11:30am. No where on their website does it say that and we called. No worries we asked to be put on the waitlist for lunch service. Quoted 30-45 minutes. Returned after an hour without communication and were told it would be another 30 minutes. No apology for the inconvenience. Finally sat at a community table. Server asked for our drink order as we were still sitting in the sitting down and when we looked at the menu was given sass about not knowing. Restaurant was physically cute, food looked good, but service was horrible. We ended up leaving and went a block over to a different restaurant where we were treated as valuable customers.

We came for my friends birthday and I bet the food was really good but we left before we could even order because the service was horrible. We initially went for the breakfast club but was told they stopped sitting at 11:30 when they stopped serving the breakfast club at 12 (we got there at 11:20). Very cute ambiance but the host quoted us 40 minutes and then after waiting she quoted another 30 minutes. We got sat at a community table and the server rushed us to get our drinks in and then after a few questions and he going to the bar to ask questions she told us "maybe we should take a few minutes to look at the menu". Again, very cute place but they needs to get waaay more organized.
Be the first to ReplyI've been there once, 3 month's ago, my daughters bday.
, quick lunch, before we'd celebrate. In the evening.. It was a good experience.but, pricey.. we ordered, sliders. Eggs bacon. A sandwich. Nothing fancy. 2 drinks each. Was 275$?? But overall, cute lace.,
Be the first to ReplyMy first time coming here was in NYC.
But the LA location does not disappoint. I'm not vegetarian but I really enjoyed the meal. The mimosa flight is incredible - you can choose from tons of fresh juice options so it's a great thing to share with a friend. The brunch was great, too. And the ambiance is super lovely. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. But be sure to make a reservation on the weekend!
Be the first to ReplyFood was pretty disappointing.
Bland and small portions, and we sat for a while waiting for service. I wouldn't return.

$23 ALL YOU CAN EAT WEEKDAY BREAKFAST BAR ?! The Butcher's Daughter is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. The food ranged from overnight oats, butter croissants, and various cold-pressed juices (green juice, passion fruit juice, pineapple, etc) to little pastries, vegan lox, vegan chicken n waffles, and frittata (MY FAV). It was so pretty inside and it was so fun eating so many different foods all in the span of one mealI would definitely go back again! MAKE SURE YOU GET A RESERVATION BEFOREHAND (the line was super long otherwise!!)
Be the first to ReplyRealized that it's all fake meat after I sat down.
Was stoked to try the burger till realized it wasn't real. Wish these types of restaurants were a little clearer with their marketing. Maybe use the word butterflies instead of butcher in your brand name although I get what you're going for. The daughter got too emotional from the abusive ways of the butcher father ( and the patriarchy ) and decided to virtue signal with her vegan ways. Eye roll. Sorry to rant was hungry and needed a proper meal with plenty of protein after a workout. Ended up ordering the Mediterranean mezze it was the most disgusting dish I've ever tried in my life. Not exaggerating. Tasted like ridiculously spicy expired dessert with a pound of sugar sprinkled in and some carrots. Like an expired ready to eat sampler at a cheap grocery store. Truly horrific. Took 3 bites of everything and contemplated spitting it out. The mocha tasted like it was baristas first attempt at making that beverage ever ( felt more like a warm cappuccino with no chocolate and a ton of foam ). The server and the hostess were friendly though and the location is great otherwise this place is disgusting.
Be the first to ReplyMy friend and I came for the Breakfast Club and had a 9am
My friend and I came for the Breakfast Club and had a 9am reservation we booked online. While the food is hit or miss (loved the chicken and waffles but had a disgusting moldy cucumber in the Mediterranean breakfast) and the environment is very cute, the service is not only lacking but also disappointingly rude.We were there on time for our reservation, and, as it was understandably busy and the food was coming out of the kitchen at varied speeds, we spread out our trips to the bar over the course of about an hour and 45 minutes. In this time, our server came to check on us once or twice, which felt like appropriate intervals for a self-service bar, but at 10:48, without a single warning they would need to flip the table, or a last call from our server, a manager was sent over to demand we promptly leave. When we politely said we were hoping for another round of food, we were informed that they have a 1.5 hour limit on the tables for tables of two and the next reservation was actually 3 minutes prior to the current time so we had already 'overstayed'.Here's the issue: for a small and busy restaurant, a 1.5-2 hour time limit on a table makes sense but this was not communicated to us in writing when we made the reservation or verbally by anyone at the restaurant when we were seated or during service. It's pretty rude to be told to leave without any warning justified with a condescending piece of information that had in no way been communicated to us. On top of all that, our server went out of his way to try get me to tip 25% on my bill as he was actively kicking us out. Pretty disappointing overall and felt like a waste of $37. Your lack of planning shouldn't constitute exigency for your customers.
Be the first to ReplyAfter seeing some videos about their new $28 Breakfast Club
After seeing some videos about their new $28 Breakfast Club Breakfast Buffet, I knew I had to stop by. The Breakfast Club is only offered Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm. We had reservations for 10am and we were seated immediately. Soon after, I noticed a line that started to wrap around the front patio area for walk-ins. I definitely recommend making a reservation! They have all the food set up along one side of the bar. There was often a line to grab food but it moved very quickly so it wasn't too bad. There was a variety of smoothies and cold pressed juices to try. You are also able to order one of their specialty drinks as part of the Breakfast Club. I went with the Pistachio Rose Latte and really enjoyed it. It's too bad only one is included with the buffet. They had an assortment of cut up pastries to choose from. In pictures I had seen previously, they had whole pastries. Although it didn't look as nice presentation wise, I liked that I could try a bit of everything with the smaller pieces. My favorites were a small cornbread like muffin and gluten free matcha cookie. I was very impressed with the carrot 'lox', but was disappointed in the sourdough bagel. It was hard and seemed stale. out of their Mediterranean options, I loved the whipped honey feta and pita. The overnight oats and frittata were delicious. My favorite items from the buffet had to be the French Toast Bread Pudding and 'Chicken' and Waffles. Unfortunately they were a bit hit or miss. The first time I got both they were great. The 'chicken' reminded me a lot of fried chicken. They even got the texture down pretty well. The French Toast Bread Pudding was rich and delicious while not being overly sweet. However, the second time I got the 'Chicken' and Waffles the 'chicken' was such a tiny little sliver that it seemed like mostly breading. The French Toast Bread Pudding was hard and didn't seem to resemble French toast nor bread pudding. The inconsistency was unfortunate since those were my two favorite items. While the service was great at first, it was lacking towards the end. We were having a lot of trouble flagging down a waiter to get our check. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to the Butcher's Daughter, but was a bit disappointed with the execution of the Breakfast Club. The quality of the food was not quite up to par with that I was expecting.
