Bills game
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean which is a big plus. Very unfortunately, the pool was closed our entire stay which was a reason we chose this hotel as we travelled with our 10yr old. Thin walls so you can hear everything and shower dripping constantly but fan running all night helped. Most likely will another hotel next Bills game.
Be the first to ReplyDated - but extremely clean!
My family stayed two nights - it was close to food, close to shopping - we were right off the highway. We were attending an event at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. we arrived - super quick and easy check in - guy was very nice. We went into our room - realized they were double beds - not queens. I obviously didn't read the listing. I went back to the desk to ask if there was anything else available - but was told sold out. We made due - but they weren't the overly comfortable. Hotel was dated - but VERY CLEAN - nice big breakfast in the morning.

Not horrible but not good. Hotel is very run down and in need of lots of repairs. Breakfast was terrible. However, the staff was incredibly nice and friendly. That was definitely a bright spot in the stay. Room rates varied for each of the three nights we stayed and the online prices were different still. For what we got, the prices were very high.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelming
Our room was run down, no refrigerator or microwave, and there was a light right outside of our window that we could not block out. Check in was quick and easy and breakfast was the average waffles and sausage and powdered eggs. We arrived late so we didnโt use any facilities.
Be the first to ReplyNo Frills for the Bills
Hit up my first Bills game and stayed nearby at this inn. Certainly a no-frills hotel next to the inter-state. Typical suburban-style eats (everything needs to be driven to) and relatively good proximity to the Bills stadium (though, yes, you need to drive or be driven there). Breakfast essentially served to fill the belly, though the quality of food...well, it is what it is.

Excellent hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was really clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that the rooms are renovated/updated. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel, and I will stay here again the next time Iโm in the area!

I booked this hotel before Christmas for a concert I was going to the following August. I booked through booking.com and picked pay at the hotel. The rate was $109.00+tax. My credit card expired the end of July, the concert was August 10th, fully aware the credit card would expire I reached out to them through the booking.com app, informing them I was coming, do not cancel my reservation and if they needed the new expiry date to let me know. I heard nothing back. I arrive at the hotel 3:30 and "Mike" is on the phone with booking.com about another reservation that was cancelled. I had some miserable woman tell me I couldn't check in then slid my drivers license towards "Mike" on the phone. He starts talking to booking.com about my reservation saying they cancelled it. I work at a hotel, I know full right well the hotel itself has to request the cancellation, booking.com doesn't just randomly cancel peoples reservations. "Mike" then proceeds to ask me if I got the email from them about it being cancelled... nope..no I didn't, 2 seconds later while he is on the phone the email comes through 3:49pm, I had already been standing there with other people they were doing this to for about 15-20 minutes. The miserable lady told me there was no rooms left, then proceeded to do a walk in while i was standing here with these other people hoping "Mike" would come through for us. Unfortunately for us he didn't. he said the only way we could stay is if we paid $500.00 for the room. I asked to speak to the manager in which he proceeded to swear and tell me the manager was at a funeral. At this time I'm late for the concert (I came from Canada) so I paid the $500. The next morning went to front desk to speak to manager again, the great caring "Mike" guy was there again, pretty much didn't even acknowledge me. If he's not the manager I hope he gets paid well for being a crooked thief. I am in contact with booking.com over this situation but in the mean time I had to send booking.com my invoice and charge, so when I called my credit card, they said this hotel has tried to manually charge my card 7 times without my authorization (putting my pin in). At the end of the night this hotel still had rooms. I don't understand how it is my fault they didn't know there was a big event in their town that night and adjust the rates accordingly at that time, or that they don't check their booking.com extranet for messages from their guests. I picked pay at the hotel, I was there to pay. I left this hotel feeling very violated and sad that someone could do business this dirty and have people arrive from another country to a cancelled room with no notice. Shame on you Comfort INN and Suites and Choice hotels.
Be the first to ReplyDO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!
I booked a room in this hotel last February for August 11th because my husband and daughter were traveling to Buffalo to attend a concert. When they tried to check in that afternoon, they were told the reservation had been canceled that morning by Expedia. We had received no message from Expedia saying that had happened. My husband called Expedia and was told that the reservation was still active and had not been canceled by them. The hotel was a adamant that it was cancelled. My husband then asked if there still rooms available and was told there was. He showed them his reservation confirmation and asked them to honor the original reservation since we didnโt cancel it and was told they would give him a room but only for over $300 MORE than the original price we booked at. We suspect that the hotel canceled the reservation so they could charge the much higher rate because of the concert that evening. It makes no sense that Expedia would cancel it. When I asked the hotel representative why Expedia would cancel they said they do that if they run the credit card for payment that morning and itโs declined. However, the email we received from Expedia the Sunday prior reconfirming the reservation stated payment was to be made at the hotel upon arrival . Also, the card we booked the room on is active and has no balance so would not have been declined if they did try to run it. Also, my husband was not the only person they did this do. While he was waiting in the lobby trying to sort this out, there were at least 3 other couples whoโs reservations had also been canceled and all of their original room rates where the same as ours. In the end, my husband refused to pay the exorbitant rate of almost $500 for a one night stay and instead decided to drive the 2 hours at midnight to go home.

Just off of I-90. I found everything about this hotel to be positive. As I was checking-in some coffee was inadvertently spilled and before I could turn-around it was being mopped-up. The room was so clean you could eat off of the floor. Everyone I encountered had a can-do attitude. I would definitely stay there again!
Be the first to ReplyA good place after a long run on the road.
Clean, quiet, a good spot to get rest after a long day on the road. The bed was correct and sheets was clean. The breakfast was ok but a little upgrade could be appreciated by clientele, as an example the coffeโs cup are small. Medium size is better. Also, it is served at 6:30, itโs a bit late for the workers and travelers that have a long trip to do.
Be the first to ReplyBEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!
For two nights (November 20 & 21, 2021) my wife and I stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites, Hamburg, NY. We booked a non-smoking room through Orbitz in May 2021.
Approximately 2 to 2 ยฝ hours after checkout, we were heading home to Pennsylvania when the hotel called me. The person on the phone told me that he was charging our credit card for $250 because we smoked in our room. My wife and I immediately got upset and told him that we are non-smokers, and that was impossible. He said there were ashes on the windowsill, in the bathroom sink, and a cigarette butt in the toilet. This is an outright lie. We had no visitors either. We even asked if he was mistaken and had the wrong room. He said, โNo, room 227โ, which was our room. We asked for the manager, and he said he was the manager. We then asked for his name, and he gave us a fake last name (as we later learned from corporate)! After some back and forth with him, he hung up on us. My wife then proceeded to contact their corporate office and filed a complaint. They told her that they would turn it over to their investigative team and get back to us. After weeks of not hearing from corporate we called them. They said that unfortunately, each hotel is independently operated and there is nothing they can do. The decision is ultimately up to the manager. So, they end up policing themselves!
We also contacted our credit card company to file a complaint on the charge. Per their policy, I had to provide documentation and a full explanation of the event. They then turned it over to their fraud department and put a temporary hold on my card for the $250. They gave the hotel the opportunity to dispute my claim, which they did. Now I am stuck with a bogus charge and there is nothing I can do.
I know management will likely see this and say that what I wrote above is not accurate. It is a case of "he said, she said", but all I can tell you is that I am a non-smoker and am now paying $250 for smoking in my room. I would highly recommend that if you are foolish enough to stay here, have a manager check your room before leaving and have him sign off that your room was ok.
Sudden discomfort
This place is a joke. From on line to check in the price went up 40 dollars.
The pool looks like septic run off. The waffle batter is fermented.
I feel bad for the staff. They were Apologetic for the owners neglect.
Never again
Needs some MAJOR TLC
I booked the Comfort Inn in Hamburg just to get away for a couple of days! I specifically asked for a room with a tub so I could take a bath and a 12pm check-out (instead of 11am). Was told both were fine.
Get to the room and I immediately noticed a stale musty smell. Thankfully the windows open, however there was a lovely dead spider on the window sill, and a large live on on the wall by the window! There were also several stains on the back of the curtains. Speaking of stains, the carpet was stained in several places and so were the sheets and blankets. In fact, one blanket had an old blood stain on it! GROSS!
The "high speed wifi" is a joke and couldn't even handle facebook on my laptop! The room amenities listed HBO, but the channel doesn't work on the TV.
The beds are hard! They add a mattress cover to try to make them softer, but that was compressed and useless. The pillows were clumpy and had zero support. The flat screen TV, was in fact a flat screen, but it is TINY! Oh, and the remote was filthy! You would think in COVID times, that would be something that was wiped down between guests!
The room overall wasn't filthy or anything, but there were a couple areas that could have used a better cleaning. For example, behind the bathroom door obviously wasn't swept.
All that being said, it was fairly quiet, which is what I was looking for! However, the tub I requested, didn't seal properly, so it slowly leaked all the water out while I was trying to take a bath. AND no one informed housekeeping that I had requested a 12pm checkout, so I was wakened by them POUNDING on the door at 10:55am!
Spent $200 to destress for a few days and left more stressed than I was when I arrived! Overall, VERY disappointed!
Comfort Inn is going downhill
Curtains donโt close all the way. Walls had stuff splattered on it (looked like squished bugs) The smell when you first came into the lobby was strong air freshener probably to mask the musty smell. The room smelled stale and like weed. The bathroom could use TLC since there was mold around the shower wall at the bottom connected to the wallpaper. Also where the trash can was in the bathroom by the toilet had stuff on the wall where it had missed the trash. Clean properly, housekeeping!!! We were close to the lobby which held the microwave since there were none in the rooms, so we heard the microwave being used and everyone that came in to check in or ask questions. Hotel is next to a busy highway so expect to hear travel noise all night. The carpet had a sunflower seed on it, which these could be hard to vacuum up. The beds seemed to be clean. Staff were nice enough. Disappointed for a Comfort Inn. We are Choice Hotel members and they have went downhill in the past five years.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible Experience
When we first got there it seemed fine. The room looked clean and was large. Everything was peaceful and quiet until about 1:30 AM when the party began. From 1:30 AM to 4:30 AM it was door after door slamming and loud knocking and what seemed like yelling and fighting and the hotel did nothing to stop it. Our room was not far from the desk so if we could hear it so could the front desk. BTW during this time, the staff walked around putting check-out slips under the room doors, so I am sure they were aware of it. To make matters worse when we left the parking lot was full of twenty-somethings yelling and horse playing all over the lot. The hotel has no security or if they do they were asleep. When we checked out there was no one at the desk to ask how was your stay. Obviously they did not want to hear the answer. Also, the maid continually harassed us when we still had an hour left before check-out. After our first encounter with her, she came back about 10 minutes later and proceeded to enter our room. If we did not have our safety lock on she would have walked in on us. I would never stay at this hotel again.
Be the first to ReplyUnfortunately a bad experience.
I planned a girls night for me and a few friends. We got in the room (room 103) and it smelled super musty so we right away opened the window. There were bottles left from the previous people under the bed and also there was pink sticky toothpaste all over the sink. Due to covid I wiped everything down and then told the front desk. The woman (unsure of her name) apologized and said she wrote a note to the general manager to get back to me. Later on in the day we found dried blood on our comforter and what looked like a giant pee stain on the side of the mattress.
I honestly I feel I should get at least half of a refund. It was supposed to be a fun weekend and it turned into cleaning other peoples mess and staying in a gross room.
I still have yet to hear back from the general manager.

Overpriced Outdated and Worn Out
We stayed here multiple nights while visiting family nearby. Front desk staff were extremely nice at check in. The room was clean, but the decor and furniture were very dated and worn out. All of the furniture in our room was beat up. Might be time for the owners to invest some money back into the hotel rooms. Our room also smelled musty. Wallpaper was peeling, our toilet was loose and not secured to the floor properly. Bed and linens were clean and the mattress was comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the loud noise! Do NOT book/stay in a room that is anywhere near the lobby, as both guests and the night staff have no regard for peace and quiet. I went to the front desk to complain about noise and loud laughing at 1am, only to realize it was the front desk employee making the noise. We won't stay here again...there are far better options for the same amount of money nearby. Comfort Inn and Suites at this location is severely lacking in quality and overall guest satisfaction.
Be the first to ReplyIt was fine
We spent a quick overnight in a king room while in the area for a family party. The room was large and clean with the typical outdated decor. The mattress was comfortable and the linens were nice. The couch had seen better days. There were stains on the ceiling as if there had been a leak at some point. The bathroom was in good shape, roomy, lots of towels and a good shower. The lobby area was small so probably couldnโt handle a big crowd. Breakfast was typical for the chain with maybe a few less selections than some. My expectations were a bit higher than the value received due to the price and the fact that this was a Comfort Inn. It seemed more like a Quality Inn. We appreciated that the hotel seemed pretty quiet, no noise from other guests or the nearby highway. While not an exceptional property, it was fine for a night.

Zero complaints! The staff were great, especially Amanda and Holly. Room was clean and cozy! Breakfast was delicious! Pool room was a great plus as well! Easy to get the Bills stadium as well! Located right off the thruway as well! Definitely will being staying there again if I'm in the area!
